Ezells Famous Chicken

The tasty chicken tenders are definitely the item to order here. I usually get half spicy and half regular. Yummy breast meat chicken, Hawaiian roll and Mac and cheese do the trick! Potatoes and gravey are tasty too! Good portions!FOLLOW ME for the best recommendations as I travel the world!

Best chicken in the area, period, especially the spicy bone-in pieces. Staff is very good at tailoring your order to just what you want. Atmosphere is cool if your scene is dudes eating alone.

Great fried chicken! I got the 2 piece chicken combo with double cajun fries, and my husband got the 1/2 lb chicken tender combo with cajun fries.

The breading on Ezell's chicken is absolutely insane. So crunchy even after like a 15 minute drive home. You have to try it!

Hard to believe this is chain chicken! The chicken is shatteringly crisp and flavorful. Hot is not very hot - I preferred the regular. The sides are fine. Mac and cheese is quite good.

Love it, best chicken around. Often busy, but worth the wait (unless your time is limited, like a short lunch break). The spicy okra, though, is the greatest. Google asks me 5 and a half years later "has it changed?" If so, only for the better - STILL the best chicken around.

The closest to home that we've come across thus far. The spicy seasoned chicken is perfectly spicy, the baked beans are sweet and smoky, and the mac and cheese is perfectly smooth and cheesy.

I love this place.. well my kids and I love this place. The sides are delicious, the chicken is so tasty and crunchy. The spicy chicken is perfect.. Oh ye the chicken strips are super good too. This location had easy parking, seats inside, quick service, and friendly employees. Only down side is no place to change a baby.. make sure to order the baked beans!

Ezells is the best thing to have ever existed in this world and I don't need to say much else

Ezells got the best fired chicken in town with the perfect balance between texture and flavor. Although I would only recommend getting the spicy chicken because the original is pretty bland.

This is an absolutely wonderful spot! You should make sure to take the time to come here and experience the amazing staff and the delicious food that this place has to offer. The kindness and smiles from the staff really make such a difference along with the amazing aroma that you experience when you open the door. Best Fried Chicken on the Eastside. Great staff too.

I had the spicy white meat chicken pieces and loved it. I have had it both dining in and take outs and it's been great both ways. Dining in was obviously better because it's hot but take out was still pretty fresh and I didn't need to heat it up in the oven to make it taste nice.
The rolls that they have are also pretty great as well.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great fried chicken on a pretty decent budget. I personally like the spicy coating more than the original, it's not spicy at all.

The chicken was good. I don't care for their sides so I just got chicken and a roll. I really like their rolls - they are kind of like Kings Hawaiian.
It was a bit busy but I got my order pretty quickly. Everything was correct in my to go order. I am fairly certain I have never received the wrong item in an order at Ezell's.
The cashier was probably somewhat new and seemed unsure of himself - in fact he gave me more change than I was supposed to get. Buy he was friendly.
