Military Commissary

This is the best level two commissary. The service is always phenomenal. The hours are extraordinary. This is a service that really exceeds my expectations. I have no complaints. If for some reason it could be upgraded to a level three like the one at oceana they would have a wider selection. Other than that I have no suggestions for improvement. Thanks to all the commissary employees and baggers for their continued stellar performance.

I want to thank the store manager and in general the personnel working here. I had a personal issue about a transaction I had made and they helped me and made me feel at ease. Not only great customer service but great human beings who really care about the service members and customers who shop here. Keep doing an awesome job here! You guys make it worthwhile and I really appreciate your help and assistance. Thank you.

Go the week after payday you will be okay. Great selection of goods and decent prices.

Naval Station Norfolk Commissary is the best I've seen in 40 years. So many good employees! Kayland Gerland is doing a magnificent job! Barris, Judy and so many wonderful employees!

Food is fresh, selection is usually great. Very busy on pay day. Save yourself a lot of time and go a few days before or after pay day. Also, some prices are better than civilian grocery stores, but not all prices. Compare prices with other stores for best values.

Awesome staff, best selection of groceries in the city, very responsive to the needs of their patrons. Clean and fresh facilities. If you have Commissary privileges and you do not use them, you are doing yourself a great disservice!

I love the commissary for Great Deals great deals and the fact that you don't pay taxes and you can always find any and everything in the commissary because of the fact that there's a lot of foreigners active duty in the military who family looks for certain things that the commissary order and have for them that they can find things in the commissary have them

More often than not, they have the best deals on fresh meat and seafood. Lots of other deals throughout the store that are hard to beat too.

This place sells groceries at their cost. The meat & produce departments are outstanding. If you are active or retired military, you should be shopping here. Literally the only downside is that you have to navigate through aisles full of wild dependapotami.

I love shopping here but it's so far out of the way. They always match prices and coupons which is great!

Very large, great selection. Most major brass found here, even have gluten-free or vegan products.

A great selection of produce and products at a great price. Payday weekends will be busy, but the 6am opening daily is always easy.

Wii shop on base 2 to 3 times a month due to the great deals on their meat and other routinely used items that are family needs I am proud to be a military wife.

This is not a public place. Many that should have the benefit of this blessing.,simply because they served period, don't have it because they did not remain in the military until retirement, or they did not get messed up in the time they did serve.
