Westside Produce and Provisions

Westside Produce & Provisions sources products from over a dozen local farms, over 50 local food and beverage producers, and dozens of Virginia wineries and breweries. They also maintain a garden on premise where they grow herbs and cut flowers that are maintained through a partnership with Old Dominion University's Classroom to Table Program.

The best fresh cookies around and so many local fruits and veggies to select from.

In addition to the wonderful selection of beautiful and interesting produce and other items, there is a clerk named Sarah who is delightful and Will educate you on what to do with some of the more unusual or unfamiliar produce. Like the last peach of the season, grocers like these are to be savored and valued.

I love coming here every other day for my local and organic produce and mushrooms. The herbs you can get here are lifechanging, the people are phenomonal and the VIP shopping experience beats anything else. This is better than a farmers market.

Always a wonderful place, just great produce. The strawberries this season were to die for as well as the peaches and blueberries. I can always count on them to have the vegetable I need at the last minute for a recipe. Wonderful, friendly owners.

I really appreciate how transparent this store is about the actual origin of the products. Nothing more obnoxious than going to a farmer's market or some other place selling local produce and having to ask about everything after finding pears with the stickers still on them from other countries or distant states, which totally defeats the purpose for me...

This is an awesome little store with a lot of locally made/produced things from Virginia small businesses.

The store is well-lit and laid out, easy to walk around, and fun to browse. If you're looking for a locally-made gift or just something yummy for your own kitchen, this is a great place to look.

I got to see both James and Gordon today. We bought cantaloupe and honeydew melons,pink eyed peas,butter beans, with fresh okra. What a treat for later this week. They are well stocked.

Outstanding local shop. Great selection of produce form VA and NC. Very fresh and cheaper than Whole Foods or Fresh Market. Highly recommend if you’re looking to support local farms/ business.

He has ube! We know a lot of the local producers that are featured here and the prices are fair. Westside does feature a few items outside of their normal seasons, but do your due diligence regarding seasons. This is a great place to go for unique ingredients to inspire you.

This is such a cool place. I've only been in a few times but every time I'm there I'm amazed at the selection of local items! If you like to shop local for local items this is a great place to go!

His vegetables and fruits are fun and tasty.
