Such a beautiful walk. Saw lots of wild flowers, foot prints and mushrooms. Did hear some gun shots as i think hunting might be allowed. The pretty scrubby so be ware of the summer sun, i went in November with overcast weather which was quite pleasant. Honestly such a great park that's away from the more popular ones. There's camping and payment via QR code. Cell service is limited, the entrance is easy to miss, portapotties by the parking lot.

Fantastic setting and simple campsites. Easy access to walking through the Florida scrub. There is a pavilion with a pond adjacent to the camping loop. Everything is tidy. Facilities are port-a-potties.

Consider reserving your site by phone to avoid the costs of online booking.

5 star by far!!
This park is large enough to get lost for days.
Secluded enough that you'll want to camp....so bring some seats & drinks to stay longer then expected....an extra charge for your phone!!

Wonderful and many trails. 10 primative campsites.portapotty for handicap as well as dumpster. Horse trailer parking for daylight use. Iron Ranger for fees. Camping reservations required for 9 sites. Site 1 tent size only no RV. is in person first come first served. $10. Sites 4 and 5 will fit large MH. All other sites regardless of length have height issues with low hanging branches as of March 3rd 2018. Do not enter after dark unless familiar with the tight turn and low tree half way around one way circle as it has already sufferred a major hit by someone.
