Capt. Chris and his staff were 1st class all the way! I have fished with Capt. Chris 2 times over 2 summers and we slayed it both times! Can’t wait for next year!!!

Wife and I spent a week at Miramar beach for our anniversary. Wanted to have a memorable anniversary and enjoy time being together. Wanted to do some fishing that week and wanted it to be a surprise. I started looking and calling fishing charters in Ft Walton, Destin, and PC Beach to take just me and my wife out on the water and enjoy some fishing. Some I contacted never responded, some were outrageously priced, and others me and my wife were not worth their time. Minimum of 6 persons and minimum 8 hour were required to book.

Came across High Tide Charters and spoke with Chris on the phone about what my plans were and when we planned on being in Miramar. He priced his service very appropriately for the date and time scheduled during our anniversary trip. I do remember Chris calling me back within minutes of ending the call to reconfirm and make sure my wife and I would be properly licensed to fish in FL as well.

My wife and I arrived at Miramar beach and the the weather was amazing 62 degrees, overcast, little light drizzling rain, and yellow flags at full staff flickering in the wind all along the beach’s. Man oh man what a great way to spend a week with my wife celebrating our anniversary 😂😂

We got settled in and as we were heading out to get dinner Chris with High Tide Charters called “ You guys make it down ok? What you think about the weather? It was beautiful yesterday and pretty much all day today until this afternoon, you guys bring all this with you?”😂

We talked for a minute about the weather, how long it would be in the area, and how it affected the fishing we had scheduled. We be both agreed the date and time that we had scheduled later in the week should be fine. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves in Miramar the despite the weather and one evening Chris called me and told me that a big storm was coming in and that it will more than likely affect the date and time we had scheduled and if we could do it a day earlier or a day later? We rescheduled for a day earlie, which happened to be the next day and in the afternoon instead of the morning. The next afternoon we met Chris at one of his favorite places to launch. He introduced himself, helped get our cooler on the boat, got the boat in the water, we signed our licenses that he purchased for us, checked our fresh live bait, he supplied and off we went.

We were went to some areas that typically produced results but due to weather conditions these areas were non productive so we went to areas that were a little bit more off the beaten path with much better results. Chris is very knowledgeable of the area. He knows when to go, where to go, what to use, and what will be there. He shared some of his life experiences throughout the day as we fished just as myself and my wife did also. My wife and I felt very comfortable and at ease fishing with Chris. His love and appreciation of nature, the sport of fishing, the local area, and other charters is amazing! I feel there is no other charter that can match High Tide when it comes to chartering. High Tide provides a personal individual experience that is not available through other charters.

The staff at High Tide charters provide you with the experience and the feel that you are part of the family and you feel that they are part of yours at the end of your experience. There is no other charter I will use or recommend to anyone other High Tide Charters

High tide charters is a great company to fish with. Captain Jones and Pelly really know what they are doing when it comes to fishing in the bay. We always catch big bull reds and trout. One time even caught a Bonita that put up a heck of a fight. Always a good time and good hooking with these awesome guys! Highly recommend booking a trip with them and I will be booking more in the future!
