Was hesitant to come here since I thought maybe it was a tourist trap with bad food but it was NOT

We LOVED the food and service. We ordered oysters which are MP, I forget to ask ahead of time how much they were and when I saw them I expected them to be 6$ each or more. They were 2 ish dollars and by far the biggest and best oysters of my life.

We got a small size of the gumbo which was very good and flavourful

And we shared the bayou sampler was entirely amazing, so much flavour and such fresh fish.

This is not a tourist trap. Everything was so good

Me and my boyfriend went here because we didn’t want to drive to Shuckums in PCB and it was amazing!!!!!! We went during happy hour and got the citrus chicken quesadillas and the baked jalapeño bacon cheddar oysters and the baked garlic butter and parmesan oysters. I wish I remembered the name of both our servers but they were so helpful and so kind! Highly recommend

Last night in the 30A area for our trip and this place was my group’s fav! All of us got a delicious dish. My sister-in-law and I got pan seared scallops and the Bayou sampler. Both were amazing but the my bayou sampler was loved by everyone (pictured below). It was flavorful! Our husbands got oysters. They ordered extra because they loved them so much and wanted more.

We got there around 5:30 pm and only waited 15-20 min for a table inside on a Saturday night. The later people arrived, the longer the wait of course. It had indoor and outdoor seating and a bar.

Service was great! And our waitress was training someone new. Still was good service!

The bartender was amazing. Asked about a drink not normally made, and she was so kind about saying, "Heck, let's try." She was very friendly and attentive. Went back to try the highly recommended meatloaf lunch special. It was absolutely worth it.

We had raw oysters, oyster Rockefeller, spinach salad with fried oysters, blackened fish sandwich, & lobster crab bisque soup. All were delicious & generous portions.

I have been to this restaurant my entire life and I absolutely love it. Hurricane Oyster Bar is the go to place for my whole family. I go here every time I am down at the beach. The poboys are delicious, but I typically take a dozen oysters raw with saltines, horse radish, and cocktail sauce. This place is perfect if you want this perfect southern style oyster combo. There is a nice view too if you eat outside. I love the peanuts and they have a good Bloody Mary too.

Great place if you are looking for fried seafood! Coconut shrimp was amazing! The water glasses are large enough that you won’t need a refill.

This restaurant has become our traditional meeting place to begin our girls reunion long weekend. Food and drinks are great and something for everyone’s palate. This year we had the best server ever - Ashley . She had no issues with our crazy complicated order- splitting dinners and special requests. She didn’t write anything down- but amazingly got it perfect. She’s a special person and a real asset to Hurricanes! What a perfect way to begin our vacation!

Great food and service. Had baked and grilled oysters and the shaved ribeye quesadilla. Lauren was a good server also.

Great food! Visited Hurricane’s for the first time this camping trip. Definitely adding them to our fav 30a list. Also great 3 - 6 happy hour food and drink specials.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. The bartender was amazing. The only food I can provide a testimony for is the "kids" 10oz ribeye, mashed potatoes, haricot vert (fancy name for green beans) and oysters Rockefeller. The steak was superb and served as close to my preferred temperature as the establishment allowed. Juicy and tender and well seasoned. If you're ever around this way, stop by here. You won't regret it.

This place had the coolest, most laid back vibes. Very “local” feeling. TVs everywhere- so great to watch some sports! I got a Hurricane, and it was very well- made. I also tried the crab bisque and it was great! Will be returning!

This was a great place to eat at. It's at a good location close to the beach. The food was absolutely great. The service was professional and friendly, but still laid back. We went to lunch here on a Friday. It was not too busy. I got a shrimp salad and my wife got a fish burger and fries. Every bit was tasty, fresh, and ... amazing. I give this place 10 out of 10. I would eat here again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a great experience, Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill.

This is the spot! Amber was a fantastic server, and shared excellent recommendations. The oysters with the orange-ginger mingonette are outstanding. Also, don't sleep on the coconut corn fritters- perfect little sweet-crunchy bites.

This little gem became one of our “go to” spots during a very usa spring break season. It’s a little off the beaten path so not as crowded as areas like Seaside and Rosemary Beach. All the food was delicious and the service was excellent; fun atmosphere too!

Loved it! Great hidden gem. Servers were all chill and down to earth. The gumbo is really good and spicy. Apparently the oysters and horseradish are amazing, idk not really my thing. You really can't go wrong here. If you want to get away from the crowded areas and the noise, head here and sit on their patio, overlooking the pond. I can't wait to visit again. I loved that everything there is homemade. Prices reasonable.

Fabulous service & amazing food. We had a wonderful dinner at Hurricane Oyster Bar. We sat at the bar and our bartender was super attentive and gave great recommendations. For a starter, we had the smoked tuna dip which is made in house. It’s one of the best dips I’ve had and I’ve had several. Smoky & flavorful, it paired well with the tortilla chips it was served with. For dinner we shared the blackened fish tacos. They were perfection—generous portions & well seasoned. Our bartender recommended a side of the gouda grits and an extra side of jambalaya. Do it!! You won’t be disappointed. With so many options for food on 30A, Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill will be our new go to for a delicious night out.

Cool restaurant with a good vibe and service. Has outdoor dining (with heaters for chilly nights) as well as a bar. Food was great, I had the jerk chicken sandwich, which was delicious albeit a bit messy. Have your favorite heartburn medicine ready if you have the jambalaya or the shrimp n grits.

Man oh man. My wife and I visited Santa Rosa beach to join my brother and sister in law on their babymoon. Hurricane probably had the best value and flavorful food. The blue crab class were so good we ordered another plate after devouring the first one. The quesadillas were bigger than expected, and packed with meat. Absolutely nothing negative about this restaurant and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting and any natives who haven't ventured here yet.

Amazing deals for happy hour between 3-6. With 5$ hurricanes and $2 draft. The happy hour food was terrific. The best choice is the steak quesadilla and sliders but everything was good. We also ordered a dozen oysters and there were excellent. Overall great way to spend an afternoon.
