One of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! In town for a work conference and needed a cut bad. They were open early and I walked right in and got put in a chair immediately. Chris took great care of me and gave me an awesome cut. They gave me a drink when I walked in and were super friendly. Scissors cut for my longer hair and the buzzed my sides. He nailed my part line and was communicative the whole time about what I wanted and if I liked it. Even trimmed up my eyebrows and gave me a lil warm towel massage. Debating flying back to Atlanta for all my haircuts!!

Thomas may be a wizard. But he is definitely an artist. I had the good fortune of being able to get squeezed into a schedule as a walk-in. This place is perfection. I have the cleanest lines that I've had and maybe 10 years. I would highly recommend this business and everybody there but especially Thomas. I will even post a before and after picture so you can see his magic.

In addition they offer on the house adult beverages to partake in during the experience. I get my regular haircut here every few weeks. Use the scheduling app in order to ensure you get in.

Very professional and personable. Our child’s barber Josh was the best. He handled our sons 5 minute whine with flying colors. We will certainly bring him back and as you can see from the photos below. There is a night day difference in his hair style!

Stan cut my hair and did a excellent job. I went in nervous about getting a fade at a spot I’ve never been to but Stan was confident, understanding and gave a great cut, better than my normal one.

I finally found a place that cuts my hair perfect. It only took me 22 years. The location is convenient to my office and scheduling is super easy using the website and the app. Chris does a superb job cutting my hair the style lasts even past the point it needs to be cut, I am a procrastinator. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a great haircut. So glad I found this place. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always professional and friendly.

I have been a customer of American Haircuts for over 8 years and have been happy with the cut every time. I always visit Thomas when I am at the downtown location, which is super convenient for getting a haircut during lunch break from work. The post cut touch up with the straight razor is a very nice touch, and the warm towel at the end leaves you very relaxed. I also like that they have a fully stocked fridge for their customers. Definitely get a haircut here!

This is my spot. I love the staff and barbers in this shop. I feel like family every time I'm in there. I'm always greeted even if I'm not getting serviced for a haircut. American Haircuts is the real deal; best in class and best in town, hands down. I've been coming here (and the midtown location, way earlier) for 7-8 years now and I have literally never had a bad experience.

If you don't know what you want and just need a cut, these guys will make you look good; if you're obsessive with your hair and need a specific type of fade, they'll have you covered. On top of excellent service, these are just hands-down good guys to be around and offer an enjoyable atmosphere and friendly hospitality that you can't get at a generic, run-of-the-mill shop. It's worth paying extra for the experience and a perfect, detailed cut every time.

I've been seeing Troy Thomas for many months now (previously at Ansley and now at the Downtown location) and he has definitely been the best stylist I've had. He is always extremely professional, polite, attentive and detail-oriented. Being the perfectionist that he is, he makes sure that you don't leave there unless you are absolutely happy with your haircut. I will certainly continue to see him even if he moves locations.

My hair was looking like road kill and Thomas made me feel like a million bucks after he was finished. Focus on quality, friendly atmosphere, and professionalism, is what made this place stand out.

Welcoming and friendly shop where you can relax and get your haircut and get caught up on the latest conversation - a new restaurant to try, a good wine with dinner or just current day events. Thomas, Christian and Jose and team treat you like family, listen to what you want and give you a wonderful haircut. I highly recommend American Haircuts at Peachtree Center - convenient location downtown. Tip: always go to Aviva by Kameel at Peachtree Center for lunch or carry out before or after your haircut. I highly recommend reservations so you can get in and get out in 30 minutes. I look forward to my haircut every month. Great experience.

Thomas has been my barber for over two years now. He shows incredible attention to detail whether it's your first cut with him or your 100th. I'd highly recommend giving him a shot if you're in the market for a new barber - he's well worth the price.

I got a really nice haircut from Thomas today. He always knows exactly how to handle my hair and pays close attention to the details. The first time I booked him, I was having a hair emergency after failing to cut my own hair, and he fixed me right up. This is the third time I’ve booked him specifically, and it won’t be the last!

Very clean space, very professional and friendly staff! I had a 3 pm appointment and I was so impressed that at 3 pm, my services began! When I am back in Atlanta again, I will revisit this shop! I could not have received better service!

Honestly one of, if not, the very best haircut experiences I've had. Staff was great, check in was easy, seats are comfortable, bar/fridge is cold, but beyond all that, Troy is a master of his craft. He cuts and styles with such precision, and he's a walking, styling master class in politeness and professionalism in his space. Do yourself the favor and give this place a shot.

Professional. Consistent spot. This shop makes use of appointments mainly and has reasonable pricing. Just don’t expect to get a fade with just a shape up without paying full cut price haha.
