Best hair braiders I have been to. They were so polite and forth coming with what kind of hair I would need. I had my own hair,, but she said that it would not act right in water because it was plastic.I wanted knotless but she let me know that after your natural hair starts to grow it doesn't look neat anymore. Which is so true. So she suggested individuals and then as she started I saw a pic of some knotlesd and she said if you want knotless I can take these few down I don't mind. I said no I am fine. She asked are you sure I said yes. Finally a stylists that listen to what her customer really wants. My hair is beautiful. Kindof tight but loosened up in a day. Thank you CN Best Hair Braiding. The owner, Nina, has been braiding my hair now for 23 years. I live in North Carolina and I do not hesitate driving 4 hours so that Nina can braid my hair. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. My braids are always so beautiful and extremely neat... they are perfect. I get so many compliments any where I go. Nina is extremely knowledgeable about braiding and strives to satisfy her customers. She and her staff are professional, fast, clean, and extremely hospitable.

I walked in and asked for a braid down for a u part wig and they did me good for like $30 (not including tip)! I’m about to go back lol.

This isn’t my first unpleasant experience but it slipped my mind because it was a situation where I was booking for someone else. However after my recent appointment I remembered I said I won’t go back and I won’t for sure after this recent experience.
I drove an hour to get my hair braided and was there 11.5 hours. She had her daughter there who needed a lot of her attention and another Braider she said wasn’t good at my type of braids so it ended up being just her. A lady came in asking to get an appointment and it was obvious she never been there. Nina was rude. It’s obvious she was stressed but that’s not on the clients. The lady asked if she washes the hair too and instead of simply saying no she said something else and when the lady left she nagged about she is a grown woman wash your own hair. That rubbed me the wrong way because as a hair professional it’s understandable someone would expect that. There are plenty people that wash take down and rebraid. Nina’s energy is very negative. Her interactions with her daughter even concerned me. I literally prayed for this lady because I feel like she may be going through a rough season but as a business owner your customers should never feel like a burden to you. We can choose to spend our hard earned money with anyone else we but we chose you. Nina also likes to control things. I asked for medium knotless braid mid back left with small box braids dang near to my butt. I told her no color and I felt so pressure to give in. She did another lady’s hair the way she wanted to as well and had a back and forth with the woman and the woman said she is just going to cut it like last time. As a customer I do not want to have to do anything to my hair after paying you for a service. All in all it should never take 11.5 hours to do medium knotless box braids. I had other plans and didn’t expect this. Though the braids aren’t what I asked for they are beautiful. Nina has a gift when it comes to braiding. They are neat and consistent. I just hope she can work on her professionalism and maybe some therapy. I won’t be back but I hope she sees this review and understand it’s not to harm but rather help her and any potential customer.

This was the worst experience ( from start to finish) I have ever had while getting micro braids. Not only was Nina unprofessional but she also doesn’t tell the truth. I scheduled a Sunday morning appointment and was told that there would be two people working on my braids, however there was on her and one other braided taking turns between two jobs. She kept complaining about my hair and talking loud on the phone the entire time while braiding. Her daughter was there and was also in need of her attention so this process was long suffering. When done she failed to cut the frizzy hair from the braids as I continued to be put on hold for her to complete her job for at least two months. I finally did what I could myself until I needed a touch up. Schedule a 5pm appointment received a text at 5:04 from her telling me that she had to pick up her daughter now. I believe she should have already done that and been there by 5 for our appointment. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for her to get back . Just leaving work my phone is on silent and she tries calling me after we both acknowledged that I was there waiting. I missed her call and she left. We spoke as she was driving home and argued with me about not being there as she drove through the parking lot. She finally said what she’s been wanting to say for months… I’m not doing your hair. She didn’t want to do my hair from the beginning but continued to have excuses after excuses. I finally found someone to fix her mess and am glad that she didn’t touch my hair again, because the Energy was bad.

I got my hair braided at this shop the braids are ok but my appointment was at 8:00 am. I was in a car accident a few days earlier so I don’t have my car so I had to take a Lyft there. As I said my appointment was at 8:00 am they were like 20 to 30 minutes late so basically I was standing out in the cold waiting .I’m big on having respect for other people and there time. I seem to keep having this issue with other braid shops as well . Then I don’t understand how it took 7 hours with 2 people then one of the ladies kept taking smoke breaks. I feel like I should have at least received a small discount for having me waiting in the cold. They were nice lady’s and all but I will not be returning to this shop.
