I started taking piano and enjoyed it so much that i started vocal and violin as well. Ferrel (piano and vocal) and Rachel (violin) are excellent. They’re patient and provide an environment where you’re comfortable making mistakes so that you guys can collaboratively correct them and improve your skills. Erin (front desk) is also super helpful with the administrative side of things.

My six-year-old twin sons have been studying piano with Mr. Mateo for more than a year. They like Mr. Mateo very much. Mateo is patient, funny and responsible. This also made our sons very interested in piano. Many thanks to Sandy Springs Music for laying the foundation for my sons' music learning. Anyone who wants to learn music here is a great start.

My two sons have been taking lessons with Jared (Guitar) for the last 5 years and Rachel (Violin) for a little over 1 year. We have been so impressed with both teachers and their ability to teach younger students. It's a blessing to be able to learn from musicians of their caliber.

It’s our 4th year with SSM and we have two kids learning piano from two instructors. We have been really happy with our experience. Kids love going to lessons and teachers are really good. Scheduling was always easy, but the online portal makes it even easier. The waiting area takes away the stress of drop off/pickup while balancing other activities and traffic.

Had a great voice and guitar lesson with great. No matter you age or skill level, it’s never too late to build a lifelong hobby. Thanks Zach!

My son Jake had a lesson with Nich and he loved working with him. He was very pleasant, patient and thorough. We will be going back for a bunch more lessons. Would recommend him to others.

I was an adult student learning guitar and vocal. I like the flexibility they offered, in person, zoom, scheduling. I started with 1 hr of guitar then changed to 30 min/guitar and 30 min/vocal back to back. The staff is friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about what they teach.

Excellent music teachers. My son learnt guitar for a year. The teacher was diligent and ensured he was able to learn the keys easily. Plus the attention to detail was very good. Even during Covid lockdowns, they were available on zoom calls to continue the tuition. Appreciate it.

Wonderful experience with this company. Robert was a fantastic and kind teacher. The staff are relaxed and easy to work with. My experience with payments, contracts, and scheduling was EASY and fair. I highly recommend this place.

We have going to Sandy Springs Music for several years and have had excellent teachers every time. Our kids started with piano and have progressed from that to singing and even guitar. Mindy is one of the best teachers and has been awesome to work with and the kids love her. Sandy Springs Music has been very accomidating to our schedule and David has been great. We are so happy that we found this place in Sandy Springs.

I was recently an adult student in need of a refresher. I actually feel I've grasped certain concepts and techniques that I didn't understand the first time I learned violin in middle school.

We really love Sandy Springs Music ! Rebecca is an amazing teacher. My daughter has taken piano lessons from her. Rebecca does a great job teaching her, she learn so fast and has fun while learning too. I would strongly recommend everyone to send kids learning music at SSM !

I have been a student at SSM for several years and have found it to be a wonderful experience. My flute teacher, Jonathan, has been patient while at the same time pushing me to improve my musical skills. David and the staff have always been courteous and accommodating and have worked around my schedule when needed. It is a great place to learn - for all ages!!

We love Sandy Springs Music! This is a wonderful, supportive environment for aspiring musicians, young and old. Our son has been taking drum lessons from Alex Selph for over a year now, and loves it! Alex is is a fantastic drummer, and has a wonderful way with kids. Drum lessons are a highlight of the week! I have recommend Alex, and SSM to several parents looking to invest in lessons for their children. We could not ask for a better fit for our son, or a better teacher. My kids have taken lessons from Alex and Adam. Alex has really helped develop my older child's talents and interests. Adam was amazingly patient with my younger child and was excellent about keeping me informed as to what they were working on. All staff has been helpful and responsive, making this a great experience for our family!

The service was quick, and the gentleman working there was very polite and helpful. I rented an acoustic guitar which was in great shape. Would highly recommend Sandy Springs Music to anyone looking to take musical lessons or even rent an instrument.

This review is for re-stringing guitars only. Came at 1:00 on a Saturday because my dog chewed up one of my mom's guitar strings. My mom has been coming here for years and really trusts them, so she recommended I come here to get it re-strung. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. He changed the string and tuned the guitar and only charged for the strings. It was less than $9 for a pack of strings. In COVID times, they were wearing masks and required customers to wear masks too. I recommend!

We love SSM! Alex is an amazing teacher. Both my boys have taken drumming lessons from him. He does a great job teaching them and they have fun while learning.

I have the opportunity to work with David for the past few months. He and is staff are true experts and professionals. They provide a fun but very instructional environment. Any age range would appreciate the great lessons and fun atmosphere. Plus you can rent your instruments from them. They have a rent to buy program.......super affordable.
