City Bagel and Cafe

I came in for the smoked salmon bagel and pastrami egg & swiss bagel. Both were great! The restaurant is very simple inside, but there is seating. Their pastries looked very fresh too - I'm definitely coming back for their chocolate croissants!

Better than you’d expect local joint! The power scramble was awesome! They have a massive selection of bagels and rolls. Kids had the cinnamon roll which was really good!

Ooooh My God!!! What can I say about City Bagel and Cafe. Since I tried it I cannot stop going. It is a hidden gem so delicious and fresh. I always get a sesame bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese and it is the best bagel ever. Also, their plain crossaints are amazing and big. Prices are really reasonable for their quality of food. The atmosphere is always cozy and great. Alma the cashier is so helpful and friendly. She is always happy to help. I Highly highly recommend this place.

I have to tell you this was a pleasant experience all around. Quick service. Nice staff. The bagel was delicious and there was tons of egg in the sandwich. Great value. Also, they had tons of flavors of cream cheese. Will definitely return

Today was the first time i tried City Bagel and Cafe and I have to say i am very happy I did, I've been looking at this place for days. I went in for breakfast and I got the Pastrami Swiss and Egg and an Everything Bagel. The amount of meat and egg to bagel was A1. The sandwich was moist and juicy oh and I love everything bagels lol. I also left with a Cheese Danish, a Cheese Pocket and a Bearclaw. Thank You City Bagel and Cafe for an awesome experience on my trip to ATL.

everything thing here is delicious!! The bakery makes everything fresh to order and the food is amazing as well. I always get a different sweet treat when i’m there besides a fresh bagel. The staff is kind and patient with my order. Wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently!!!

Love this place so much I wound up taking my wife there! They didn’t disappoint then either! My first time I bought an apple danish and a cinnamon bun…..super tasty! The pastry is nice and buttery; flaky goodness!! This past time we got avocado toast, the bagel with the salmon on it, and a glazed cinnamon bun (wasn’t glazed before). Still just as great as the first time!! My wife was the one who ordered the salmon bagel…..she told me you don’t need to toast fresh bagels and I can see why! Just order yourself a nice pastry and eat it! Enjoy yourself!

Now remember, there’s usually 2-3 people working stone time and the line can be long. If you are an impatient person, don’t bring you and your anxiety to the bagel shop LOL I’m so serious about that. This isn’t fast food so don’t treat them as such. You go in, start at all of their selections in line, then order what you want. The kind lady will either hand you your bag or if you have a larger order, they will walk it to you! I love that the store is ran by women; they take their time and do it right!

Now go get you a cinnamon bun….I was sincerely thinking about going to get another one lol, that’s what prompted me to write this!!

I came in for breakfast at 11:00 am,. This was my first visit to City bagel, and I was going to just grab something to go, but as I entered the place the wonderful, sweet smell of freshly baked goods invited me to stay. I was their only customer at the time, and was taken care of immediately. Manal took my order with a smile and was very personable. While my food was served and I ate, other customers tricked in, and each time Manal greeted them by their first name , and conversed with them in a way you only would with someone you had known for a long time.
My bagel was delicious, the eggs cooked to my request, and the lox cream cheese was amazing!
From my experience, City Bagel is a neighborhood eatery, a place where you’ll want to return to because it’s familiar, where they not only fill your belly with quality food, like your mother would, but they will also warm your heart because you are not just another customer,. Here you are known, and you are treated like a friend.
I hope your experience is a perfect as mine was.

This is a great place! This reminds me of the great places I used to go to in NY. I had a bagel, cream cheese and Nova and it was excellent. They make the bagels old school. I came early in the morning and they were just out of the oven. The bakery is also great. I had a chocolate chip cookie that was out of this world. I no longer need to go to H&H bagels in NY, I now have a great place 10 minutes from me. The owner is a friendly and experienced baker from NY. This place is a winner.

Delicious bagels. The top and bottom of bagel looks the same. The texture and taste of the bagels was excellent. We tried onion and multi-grain everything bagels. Both were yum.

Full transparency, I was invited to visit City Bagel and Cafe to provide an honest and non-biased review before their grand opening.

City Bagel and Cafe is replacing Soho Bakery and Cafe in the same location. Though the location is the same, it is under new management.

Management appears to be very concerned with both the appearance within the store and overall customer service. I spoke extensively with the owner and they pushed heavily their commitment to customer service and ensuring complete and total customer satisfaction.

Management also appears to be much more involved with the happenings within the store and is much more present and involved.

City Bagel and Cafe seems to be more focused than Soho Bakery was. Their menu consists of bagels, pastry items, cookies, and deli sandwiches.

The quality of their food, and honestly the reason for the five stars, is phenomenal. You can tell that care and effort goes into every item they serve.

The bagels are definitely their best items. They are boiled, which after having done some research, is the original and best way to make bagels. The result is a fluffy, full-bodied bagel that retains its structure.

Honestly, you have to try their bagels, highly recommended.

I really hope the best for this location and restaurant. As someone who lives in Sandy Springs, we should always support small businesses and this definitely embodies that feeling.

So the two young ladies working today were amazing and offered good suggestions and explanations! I had the biggest breakfast sandwich ever. Guess I should have taken a picture. The bagels were so good and smelled even better. The smear was absolutely fresh. Can't wait to try my cinnamon danish!

I haven't had a bagel this good since I lived in NYC. These are legit fresh bagels. No question made this morning and boiled like they're supposed to be. I had an everything bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, and ketchup. The coffee is good. I'll be back over and over.

The best everything bagel I've had in Atlanta - after having gone to Goldberg's since 1980. Selection of other baked goods are covid limited still and I haven't had lunch there yet either. I go twice a week now.

Great new find in Sandy Springs....been around, just stopped in for a bagel. Pastrami, egg and Swiss on an everything bagel was delicious 😋 Awesome bakery items too. Get there before 1p or you will miss out on the real goodies!

Best Bagels in town. The everything bagel is to die for and can not be beat. They have incredible pastries as well. The service is nice but a little disorganized. I think they have just grown too quickly lately so hopefully they figure that part out soon. Still so worth it.

This place is amazing. I saw a terrific news clip about how the owner kept his place opened, continued to pay his employees, and donated lots and lots of bagels during the pandemic. I said I must try this bagel place and the bagels are so delicious!! Please support this company and their quality food. You will not be disappointed! Thank you!!
