Dominick's Italian Of Historic Norcross

We came here on a Saturday night around 630 and we were seated right away. Few people at the bar and a few tables taken. It started filling up as time went by. Our server, Alorra, was friendly, attentive, and professional. Probably one of the best servers I’ve come across in a long time and I have high standards for servers. It was our first time there and their dishes are family style. We both had a cup of their daily soup, it was really good. The garlic bread with cheese was excellent. We shared the lasagna and chicken carbonara, both delicious. But would have liked a tad more sauce in both dishes. The tiramisu was to die for. We’ll be back for sure.

Excellent experience! This is a true family style Italian restaurant that allows sharing of entrees. They were able to accommodate a group of 13 with ease and never missed a beat. Our waitress did an exceptional job of keeping track of a split ticket between four parties and stayed on top of everything. Our food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

There were 4 of us. We had a reservation (but it was for the following night). The hostess moved things around to accommodate us which was amazing. There were several large groups in restaurant, so the food took a little bit longer. Luckily, we shared the calamari fritti appetizer, which helped to tide us over until our dinners arrived. I ordered the Caprese salad with added grilled shrimp, one friend ordered the Gorgonzola salad, also with grilled shrimp. Another friend ordered the Veal Marsala, and my other friend order the eggplant parmesan. 4 normally chatty women were temporarily silenced by the delicious food. Everything was expertly prepared and presented. Very generous portions too.

They accommodated a 30+ person reservation efficiently in the main dining area. Food is very good and portions are large. Highly recommend

Excellent food and service! Our waitress was awesome and very professional. I highly recommend this place for date night.

First experience. Had 3 wait on us. Asked for recommendations and got an excellent one. The portions were good size and great value and actually considered half portions. Don't miss the garlic bread with cheese for an appetizer and and with the meal. We shared a Bombe for dessert was a value at $7.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Dominick’s Italian. Service was exceptional! Food was full of flavor. Restaurant is in a historic building and full of character. Loved it. Looking forward to going back. Do yourself a favor and start off with the Spedini Bread.

Very very good Italian food. Great sauces! Good service and wine list. Had dinner for eight and it was enjoyed by everyone. Easy and free parking. Would go there again for sure. Have fun!

My favorite Italian spot outside of NYC! The Calamari was perfect, with a light breading. The Chicken Carbonara was perfect, as was the Blackened Shrimp Fettuccine. Be prepared to take some home the portions are large. Sharon our waitress said she's been working here 16 years & it really shows in her excellent service.

Excellent experience all around. Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend the Sundried tomato manicotti, chicken parmesan with fettuccine side. Also don't skip the garlic bread!

I had the Calamari Fritti which is normally very good. However, tonight they chose to cut large squid up into large rings. The rings came out under done with a slimy zone between squid and breading. The Marinara d very good though. I also had the Eggplant Parm which was pretty good. My friend had the Spicy Chicken & Sausage Casserole. It too was under done. One of the ingredients was listed as 'caramelized onions.' The onions were still crunchy. We sent it back. The second attempt also resulted in crunchy onions. They begged for another chance so we obliged. This time the onions were no longer crunchy but still far from being caramelized. Definitely not worth the $70 plus tip it cost. They've done better in the past, maybe they will in the future.

A hidden gem! During my visit to Atlanta for the weekend I wanted to try a good Italian restaurant and Dominick's knocked it out the park. From the rustic ambiance to the fresh delicious menu options, this place does it right. The garlic bread is a must have! The shrimp scampi was amazing! I highly recommend this place for family gathering or date night.

I did my husband’s surprise birthday party here. This was my first time there and I know he loves Italian and I know Norcross holds so much history.
So I began the inquiry with emails with tons questions and nothing went unnoticed. I even changed the date, and they made it happen. I was impressed by the customer service of the staff & management team. Absolutely amazing and we had a LARGE group and everyone’s needs were met. The serving sizes of the food were great. (Order halves) We all had food to take home.😂 and I loved hearing the train come through, while we were eating dinner. Thank you for everything Dominick’s of Norcross & we will be back. I highly recommend!!💙

Wonderful restaurant atmosphere located in historic Norcross. Can't beat experiencing an occasional train passing by while dining. Very cool. Friendly staff accompanied by great service. Large flavorful food portions. Some of the items were a bit salty for my palate.

Dominicks of historic Norcross!! What a delight ever since I came in contact with Dominick’s I have loved the food. The best Italian food! Everything is fresh, simple and tasty. The ambiance is very classic, very welcoming and very diverse. You can come here for a business lunch/dinner or maybe after a day at the park with the family. Dominic's in Norcross is great. It is a gem tucked away near the historic train station. Lots of shops to walk to.

The food is excellant! Service was fantastic!

Doors opened at 5pm. Be sure to get there when they open, to bet the crowd.

Our first dinner at this restaurant even though our Son’s family has been here before. Food and service was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere and ambience was excellent. We had a table for six and everybody liked the whole experience.

If you are looking for an amazing Italian Restaurant in Norcross,Georgia.I highly recommend Dominick’s located in old town Norcross. Upon arriving at the restaurant I was immediately made feel very welcome. I checked in with the hostess station and was seated to my table and not that long after checking in. I was served water and given a menu once I was seated at my table. I ended up ordering an Italian beer and an appetizer. The appetizer was absolutely amazing and was delicious. I ordered the Lasagna for my main course was it just perfect. Lastly to finish off my night at Dominick’s I ordered a Cappuccino. The cappuccino was delicious and perfect. The customer service at Domino’s was absolutely amazing and the staff were very professional. Everyone that worked at Dominick’s took so much pride in their Restaurant, Jobs and taking care of their customers. The restaurant was very clean and the restrooms were clean also. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I have traveled all over the world with the United States Marines. Also have traveled all over the United States. I certainly know a great Italian restaurant from all my travels. If you are looking for amazing Italian Cuisine look no further. This place is a hidden gem! The setting is great and has a very old fashioned feel. The garlic bread is TO DIE FOR and the Sicilian Salad was absolutely delicious!

I am a local resident of Norcross and we frequent restaurants in the area every weekend. This is the third time we have gone to Dominick’s and each time it seems to get better. We ordered the Sicilian salad and the manicotti both small sized orders to split between two people. We ate half of both and we felt full. The focaccia bread that comes with the meal is delicious and we also had a cheesecake recommended by our waitress Lexis which was homemade and excellent. Also, Lexis was a great waitress! We took home half of our salad and manicotti and got to eat it for lunch the next day and it was even better. We highly recommend Dominick’s for a nice dinner out as well as good value for your money. Excellent food and service. Also, their wine selection is amazing at fair prices.
