We Got Soul - Soul Food Restaurant STONE MOUNTAIN

It is no longer NAMED "We Got Soul". The name is "Ms. Pat's" The name may have changed but the food, taste hasn't! I went and I had the baked chicken, greens, and cabbage. Everything was good. I LOVED the baked chicken! The cabbage had a little more spice than I like, but it was still good. I gave my greens to my hubby who loves spiced up food!! But, that still doesn't take away from the quality of the food. The baked chicken was so good I had to meet the cook, Joe and ordered a whole pan. He was very pleased,pleasant!!! I will definitely go back. If you want some soul food please go visit!!! You won't be disappointed!

Now THIS is Soul Food! Everything was seasoned to perfection. The turkey wings were falling off the bone. The candied yams are perfect! Not too sweet, not too bland. The cornbread is sweet and moist but still have that buttery crisp. I love that they were open on Sunday. I feel like I’m at Grandma’s House. This is my new soul food restaurant. 💪🏽

Fast service, hot food, great service. You guys a re a triple threat hunni! Thanks for feeding my soul. Fried fish was delish! My husband enjoyed his burger to the fullest. He suggested you add just a little more to cover the whole bun. Other than that he loved how well seasoned it was.

The food was delicious. The German chocolate cake was on point. All I needed was a cup of milk to go with it. The chicken was fried just right. Good meal.

Great food. Everything looks as good as it taste. The staff was also excellent!!! I will be visiting the restaurant everytime I come to Atlanta. I may even take trip just for We Got Soul!!!

The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly. I admit that I was skeptical based on the overall rating, but my experience was definitely five stars!

Hands down THE best fried chicken. Perfectly seasoned with a delicate breading and also perfectly cooked, keeping it moist! Friendly staff. Cooked fresh!

We ate their food a couple of years ago and it wasn't very good. HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED!! We ordered a baked turkey wing and pork chops. Finger licking good! Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Order the Mango lemonade for a real tasty treat.

I booked We Got Soul for celebration dinner in June of 2021 and man, did they deliver!!!! First they were on time with the delivery as a matter of fact they were early. We ordered a variety of food to accommodate the different dietary restrictions and every person I asked after the fact about their meal all said "the food was great"!!!! That is saying a lot! We were able to place the order online (via ezcater) and have it delivered to our desired location. I would definitely recommend this business if you have are hosting a meal and you just want to provide a good meal without cooking it yourself!

It was crowded as they shut down service at 7 on Sunday. The wise folks had called in there order. We had planned to dine in but then my mother wanted a meal so we ordered it to go. It didn't speed up the process of coming out though. In spite of the wait, the food was delicious and I will definitely dine here again.
It is not easily viewed from the road and is between the Ruby Tuesday and an auto shop in a recessed shopping center. I am glad we drove around and found it because the food was well seasoned and tasted delicious. I am picky about eating soul food because no one can top my Aunt Dean's cooking! It was good though and we will definitely be back!

We used them to provide catering to our lunch at Emory University, and they provided great service. They arrived on-time and the food was well packed for delivery. The food was very hot and well seasoned. Everything was great. We ordered: smothered chicken, fried catfish, yams, Mac & Cheese, green beans, collard greens, and cornbread. Everything was great. We will be using them again in the future.

Awesome fried turkey wings, potatoe salad and collard greens. You will not be dissapointed!

My husband and I ordered our food from here yesterday - absolutely wondeful experience with everything! Placed an order and got a call later from an employee about one of the menu items not being available at that time and she was so sweet and helpful with finding a new option. We ordered several things, and while all were great; I have to say the mac and cheese and the “we got soul” wings are some of the absolute best of those kinds of items we have ever had. The perfect blend of flavors. Can’t wait to try other things sometime! Thanks We Got Soul! It was exactly what we were hoping for ☺

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming here since they opened in 2012 and I’m still in love! The people will make you feel like you’ve walked into grandma’s kitchen, they’re so nice! I’ve came in here after a horrible day and walked out smiling ear-to-ear. Not to mention the food is AMAZING and filling. Try the Mac next to some yams or potato salad and you won’t regret it. Absolutely splendid 10/10 recommended.

I’ve been going to We Got Soul since it opened years ago and the food has always been excellent. Last week I went in and got Salisbury steak, Lima beans and black eyed peas and that was hands down the best meal I’ve ever eaten. It’s always good but this day it was so extra good I had to say something. If you’ve been there then you know. If you haven’t you’re missing out. Great staff too!

This place is awesome! The veggies are cooked without meat so I was super excited to try them being a part time vegetarian. Who would have ever thought a "SOUL" food restaurant would cook veggies without meat! There was no way I could mistake those greens for the "Glory" brand. I am from Ohio but raised by a mother and grandmother who were both born and raised in Georgia so I can pretty confidently say that the greens I had were definitely not from a can. Lucky me I guess

Since the first time, I have been hooked. I often swing by to pick up dinner for the family and have even allowed them to cater a few events. Their service is impeccable.

Oh and once again...the greens are....off the chain.....da bomb....slap yo momma good......all that! Do yourself a favor and check them out for yourself.

PS. The hubby loves the FRIED turkey wings. I've never tried them but should I ever become a meat eater again, they will be one of the first things I go for.

I just had lunch there for the first time and the food is amazing!! The greens were so tender and very flavorful. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The customer service was great. I did not have to wait long for my food and the staff was very friendly!

If you have never eaten there, please do yourself a favor and go. You will not regret it.
