I have been going to Salon Skanda since 2019. It is hands down the best salon I’ve been to! Kristal and her crew are all AMAZING! I always feel right at home when I’m there. They listen to what I want but ensure I understand the reality of how long it may take to achieve a certain hair goal. It’s my forever salon. 100/10 highly recommend. They specialize in curly hair! So they know how to work with all textures! You won’t be sorry if you give them a try.

Could not be happier I tried Salon Skanda. After a few bad colors elsewhere, I went to Shelby for a color correction and I LOVE my hair. She took the time for a thorough consult (which doesn’t happen often these days), really talked me through her plan, ensuring me that she understood what I wanted. The service was great and the salon has great vibes. Very much a team atmosphere. They clearly care about their work and clients, I would highly recommend Salon Skanda.

I am so happy with how my wedding curly cut and color turned out! Love everyone in the salon and Tanz really did her thing with the color. I was nervous to get color because I want my curls to stay as healthy as possible but I promise you can trust them with your curls!

Tanzania is the best! I’ve been going to Salon Skanda almost 3 months. I got the custom curly cut on my first visit, and I love the shape of my hair and the definition of my curls. I have coarse tight coily hair, so if you are African American she knows how to handle and take care of your hair. I’ve been back 3 times for a wash and go and moisture conditioner since my first visit, and I’m happy every time I leave the salon. My hair lasts for two weeks although I workout 5 times a week and get in the sauna afterwards. I highly recommend Tanzania, she specializes in hair care!

I had an amazing experience from the phone call prior to the appointment to the actual appointment. They walked me through ever set and were so friendly. I got my hair colored, which is always scary but they didn't damage my curls and left my hair looking exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend!

Tanzania did an absolutely beautiful job on my daughter’s hair. She took her time and was extremely detailed oriented. My daughter felt comfortable and relaxed. We were both happy with the results and will be back. Already booked our next appointment.

I love going to Salon Skanda for my detox and curly cuts!!! Everybody who works there is super nice. Kristal does an amazing job and takes good care of her clients. I have a tighter curl pattern and very dense hair and they always schedule the right amount of time to provide me with the best service. I never felt like she was rushing to get to the next client. I just got my very first highlights with her today and not only did she do a great job but she also took the time to answer all of my questions. Curly girls called Salon Skanda today to schedule your consultation and any service that you might need for your curls. It is the best salon in ATL for the curlies… Hands down!!! You’ll thank me later. 🙂

Great experience. I am appreciative that I was able to book a whole first time curl session last minute. Cheryl and Taylor worked with me calling in a few times to change my appointment time because I didn’t anticipate them even having a spot for me on such short notice, especially for an appointment that takes 2.5- 3 hours, but they both worked with me on time. When I came in, I had Megan as my stylist, and she did an amazing job explaining all of the products she was using and asking me many questions to figure out and let me know how I can better take care of my hair. I left very happy and Megan really brought my curls back to life!

Everyone who has done my hair, has been amazing. I leave happy with the result. My curly hair looks better thanks to the curly cut, although takes longer.
The sinks for washing are really comfortable! Thank you for that.
The whole experience is great.

Visit with Tanz went really well! Lots of compliments on my hair too! You know it never comes out like the salon, but I’m gonna work at these curls for sure! Loved her calm effect and teaching me who had nooooo clue what to do! lol Thanks again!

I am a middle aged dude and I have a thinning and receding hairline. Kristal did a great job. My hair hasn’t looked this good in years. Also, Jeff was also very welcoming and made me feel like we have been friends for years.

Amazing experience! From the moment at initial consult to end product my curls were rejuvenated. The cut allows me for consistent styling daily with minimal product use. A bonus. Back again in six weeks for trim! Can’t wait.

I absolutely loved my experience with Megan and the whole team at the salon! She is so sweet and personable.They made me feel right at home and my curls have never looked better. I left with poppin curls, so much curl knowledge and a smile on my face. I can’t wait to go back!!

I’ve been going here for years! The only salon that I go to. They take their time answering all your questions and assessing what works best for your lifestyle, long term goal for your hair, and your budget. Love the people that works here. You can tell that they treat each other like family which translates on how they take care of their clients.

Sarah and Kristi are the best! Patience, Kind, knowledgeable and just overall excellent service. The atmosphere is very welcoming and so is everyone. And there is nothing like receiving a relaxed, warm towel and head massage during your wash! Splendid!

This was a phenomenal experience! Kristal was so knowledgeable and I love and appreciate how attentive she was to my needs! I love that found somewhere that can take care of my curls and teach me as well!

This was my first visit to Salon Skanda and I will certainly be back again.
Shelby gave me a terrific haircut. She talked with me throughout the process to determine if I wanted more or less taken off, or if I should have full bangs, or if I wanted the back to be pulled in more. It was great to actually be able get what I wanted!
