Café Intermezzo - Avalon

I love this place. The quality of everything, the romantic European vibe, the food and the service, is just amazing. I don't mind waiting for our table, I understand that they don't take reservations, so it's first come, first serve. If you decide to go, you should be prepared to wait. On this occasion, I went to have brunch with a very good friend. We took advantage of the waiting time to go shopping at Sephora since we needed to restock on some make-up. As always, everything at Cafe Intermezzo was simply amazing.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating! The best food and drinks! And the atmosphere is authentic, warm and cozy. Will definitely be back!

So intimate and cozy, lovely selection of cakes, great for date night and friend meet ups, firepit on the outside, haven't tried the food, but looks reasonable and they have vegan and vegetarian options so I'll be back

Cafe Intermezzo is my absolute favorites. The staff is friendly and attentive, always providing great service. The ambiance is upscale and sophisticated, making it the perfect spot for a coffee date or a quick business meeting. The outdoor seating area offers a stunning view, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this place is a must-visit for coffee lovers and those who appreciate a luxurious experience.

Vibey and cool. Ambient lighting and decor. Nice music. Didn't eat but had a slice of carrot cake. Dense and dry. But enjoyed a very strong Baileys cappuccino. The food served to other patrons looked amazing though.

10/21/23 revision: went here for brunch today and yum. Peach Bellini, chicken spinach Florentine crepe and prompt excellent service. The red velvet cake didn't disappoint and wasn't as rich as I expected. Very happy with this visit. Will be back to try more goodies.

This location is absolutely amazing and beautiful! The staff are very friendly and the service is always good. I go there often and can not say I ever had a bad experience. The food is absolutely delicious, most things on the menu that I have tried were enjoyable. I always order a desert there so save some room for sure!

This place is absolutely incredible! what a gem 💎 they don’t have reservations, first come first served. it was an hour wait on a Saturday night which is the busiest, but you can always choose to sit at the bar and save the wait time. Their tomato 🍅 soup was the best!!! So as tomato basil 🌿 balsamic vinegar side for the hamburger 🍔 which we enjoyed a lot, medium-well! and a classic Caesar salad was just as you’d expect it to be. Cafe latte, strong and creamy was perfect and Bosco berry cake 🫐 🍰 was an absolute highlight of the dinner! atmosphere was great - pay attention to the chandeliers and all the details of the interior - it looks great! and of course, servers were nice and friendly, making our experience really nice and pleasant! looking forward to coming back to this place again!

First time dining here and I loved every minute of it! Our server Meghan was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. I love going to restaurants where the server can recommend great choices, and she did exactly that! The only negative I have is that I would have liked the cappuccino I ordered to be more hot. It was a little lukewarm. I loved the ambiance of the place. We had a table seat outside and we were able to chill and people watch at the same time. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment. I will definitely be returning! Ask for Meghan when you visit!

The aesthetic is super adorable here. I started my order off with a Mexican hot chocolate so good. I ordered the chicken salad croissant. They have covered parking for the Avalon. This restaurant has indoor and patio seating. Also the have coffee mixed with alcohol if you want something with a little more razzle dazzle.

Good coffee and ice americano. String but americano could've been a little more intense. Cheesecake was fantastic. However it was $10 so above average cost.

Cute little flowers on the table and QR code for the menu on the table. Toward the evening the lights were dim, candle on table . This is a nice little spot for a date. The wait was an hour on Saturday afternoon. While you wait your surrounded by shopping stores. Just outside the Cafe there is a fire pit, chairs and tables, a couple of swings for two. The servers are great! If your gluten free the only thing you can eat are salads. I had a great salad that was tasty. You can see the food being prepare so that's cool. My friends enjoy everything here too including dessert.

Amazing. First time I think I had cake for an appetizer prior to breakfast. We sat next to the glass case of cakes and this lemon cake I’m pretty sure was talking to me. Looks had nothing on the taste - moist, sweet and just overall heavenly. Breakfast was absolutely the best and I just wasn’t ready. My new favorite brunch spot!

This place gave me vibes like when I was in Paris. From the outdoor seating, to the artwork on the walls, to the smell of delicious coffee. The ambiance was really nice. Initially it was a 45 min wait but was able to get a seat at the bar area right away. The waitress was very attentive and polite. Enjoyed the food. Had the spicy tortellini with salmon and the French toast with bananas and pecans. I also liked they had classical music playing as well. Definitely will come back. Great public place for online dating meetups. Casual but elegant.

It's sinful sweet indulgent location. I had the oreo cheesecake and the serving size was very large. Cappuccinos were strong and well made.

First time visiting and it was amazing! Great service, great food, and atmosphere. The French toast had lots of flavor. My scrabble cheese eggs, not sure what they did but those were the best I've tasted lol. Oh they forgot I ordered the seafood dip, but it was ok I didn't even bring it up because I was too full. The waiter was really nice too.

This place is lovely for brunch. It is still gorgeous and we just had the table right by the front door. The cafe intermezzo coffee had almonds and was delicious. My friend got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which looked lovely. I had the avocado toast. Although my eggs were kind of dry everything else was tasty. I would love to try this place again. The atmosphere is really so romantic. The wait for a table was over an hour so be prepared.

Really intimate, delicious and special way to end a date night or just to connect with someone. The atmosphere is perfect for nice conversation. Desserts are delicious. The hazelnut/banana crepe is divine. I will be thinking of this delicious dessert in the coming weeks. Service is good. cash only. I have to admit I haven't eaten a proper meal here but would like to try. Large selection of alcohol as well. We are never disappointed in cafe Intermezzo.

Delicious!!! Our first visit was the Nashville location which was absolutely amazing. Had lunch, then came back for dinner the next night. When we saw you had a location in Alpharetta we made sure we planned time to come for lunch. We're coming back in May! Can't wait!

Went last night to the Alpharetta location. The food was absolutely amazing. We started with an espresso martini that was off the charts. Our entrées and Dessert were well worth the hour drive!
