Alpharetta Dental Town

I have been a patient here for 7 years. Dr. smith was great but he left the practice in the very capable hands of Dr. Yates. I drive from Brookhaven to Alpharetta because the entire staff is nothing but friendly and polite. I highly recommend Amanda, the hygienist, and KT as Dr.Yates assistant! Dr. Yates always makes you feel like you are his only patient! Book your appointment now! :)

I am a new patient and I must say I am very impressed. Dr. Yates and his staff are very warm, welcoming and informative. They are conscientious to dental anxiety and help reduce it by walking through each step and checking in throughout the process. I 1000% recommend this place. Thank you to the Dental Town Team! They fit me in as a new patient for a broken molar even though they were booked for 2 months. I saw Dr. Yates and I couldn’t be happier. He explains everything clearly and makes you feel calm. The office is just above my jewelry store so it is convenient too. The entire staff was friendly and fun! I feel privileged to be a patient now!

This was my first time visiting Dental Town after not going to the dentist for a while . BIG THANKS to Amanda & Dr. Yates for being so knowledgeable and being very helpful during my visit. Amanda was so sweet and had great conversation and made me feel comfortable. I’m not even scared of the dentist anymore! Dr.Yates very gentle and professional and is very funny ! I can tell he takes pride and love what he does. Overall it Felt like I knew them for years ! Also the staff was so nice and made me felt welcomed. Definitely made them my new dental home!

From the moment you walk in, they make you feel comfortable. Dr. Yates and his team were personable and able to help me relax and laugh before getting work done on two teeth. They genuinely cared about how I was doing throughout the procedure and his assistant (who’s name I’m so mad I forgot but loves Aerosmith!!!) made sure I was set to leave.

Getting dental work done can be stressful physically, mentally, and financially, but here I feel like the level of care from the entire staff is genuine.

I would go no place else or take my kids to anyone else.

Great experience at Dental Town Avalon! Had some issues with my insurance and Angela and Tina were super patient with me while I figured out who my Dental was through. Dr. Yates and his team are wonderful. Highly recommend!!!

They are the best!! Due to my insurance I had to change my dentist office, which I had been with for more than 20 years. It is so refreshing to find another dental office that gives you the comfort to move forward knowing they are going to take care of you and your family. Special shoutout goes to my new favor Dental Hygienist, Autumn and my new favor Dentist, Dr. Yates. Thanks for all that you do! The entire team at Dental Town Avalon is amazing! Ms. Tina and Ms. Candy are so attentive and make sure everything is ready for me to have a smooth dentist visit. Dr. Yates is very professional and approachable, which makes all the anxiety from being at the dentist’s office disappear!

I had a severe toothache. Dr Yates, Katie and Angela did an excellent job in assessing my condition. Dr Yates and staff contacted the Oral Surgeon and scheduled my appointment right away to have my tooth extracted.

I would recommend Dr. Yates, his team and his practice not just family and friends but everyone.

I recently went to this location and had such a fun time! My dental hygienist, Amanda, made sure I was comfortable the whole time, we had great conversation, and laughed through the whole thing. Also Dr. Yates asked me what kind of music I liked and played it during my filling to make it better for me. They definitely add a more personal touch!

Dental Town is amazing. We are never pushed towards intrusive expensive treatments as we have been at other dental practices. The staff are gentle and take their time. Nothing is rushed and all the time necessary is taken. It is really easy to contact them and get a timely appointment as well. They have no issues with you accompanying your child during any visit and encourage you to. You’d think this would be a common occurrence but at other practices that were not dental town I was very put off at staff trying to keep me in the waiting room as well as staff not reviewing important information while the child was in the chair and wanting to show me on a mock up computer screen or talk to me in the lobby, this is not the case with any dental town I have been to. Overall great experience for everyone and every time.

Dr. Yates is the best!! I’m not afraid to go the dentist anymore!!! His dental assistant Hunter was gentle on cleaning my sensitive teeth. It was a good experience!

I have metastatic breast cancer and treatments can ruin your teeth. I needed a dentist who understood my anxiety and fear of dentists in general and would help me with a realistic treatment plan to keep me out of pain. I was almost instantly relaxed around Dr. Yates and Alayna!! They both put me at ease with their relaxed mannerisms, and Dr. Yates is incredible, I know that he will listen to me when I am in pain, and he goes out of his way to make sure I experience is not only pain-free, but almost enjoyable, if you can believe that! I definitely will not be going anywhere else, I’ve never had such a personalized experience at a dentist, and felt like they really cared. If I could give more stars, I would!

Best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! Dr. Yates and Elana are a pure joy every time I visit and they always make me feel comfortable and at home. Tina (the office manager) is also one of a kind. Can honestly say they are looking out for their patient’s. 100% recommend!

I had an unscheduled visit. The entire staff was very helpful in addressing my issues, in particular Tina. She took care of my billing concerns and allowed me to see the dentist. Dr Smith was very helpful and provided a temporary fix. I highly recommend Dental Town.

AMAZING experience! I had badly broken molar! Dr Smith and his team took great care of me…scheduled enough time to evaluate AND make necessary repairs all in one visit! He was able to fill the big hole and save my tooth! Dr smith’s ability to pinpoint and numb the specific area is unsurpassed. I have had some nightmare dentist experiences in past years where they couldn’t get me totally numb, etc. I was reticent to even visit a dentist…..BUT not Dental Town and Dr Smith!!! They are TERRIFIC! SO professional and pleasant! I literally almost fell asleep in the chair!! I HIGHLY recommend them! Our whole family now goes to Dental Town!! You should too!!

I first heard about Alpharetta Dental Town through a mom's group. I took my 11yr old there this past summer - he has always had some dentist anxiety and he had a great experience. I decided to go there for my own dental check-up and I was not disappointed. X-rays were super easy - I hate x-rays. The hygienist was super nice and explained a lot to me about my mouth. The dentist was also very nice and thorough. I normally don't have such high praise for a dental practice, but I will be going there for a long time and will be taking all 4 of my children there as well.

Dr Smith and his team are amazing.
I highly recommend his practice for anyone in need of dental care. The time and consideration they put into each patients individual needs is incredible.

Let’s start with the office, the layout is very nice and kid friendly. Dr Yates and Hunter were very friendly and professional. This i the first time that I actually enjoyed the dentist.👏👏👏😊

The staff at Dental Town are extremely helpful! I had a bad experience prior to visiting dental town and was apprehensive but they far exceeded my expectations and I will highly recommend them to friends and family!
