I did PT at Advance Rehabilitation 2-3 times a week for 7 months after having surgery to repair a ruptured patellar tendon. I primarily worked with Andrew, though had some sessions with the other therapists as well, and can't recommend this place highly enough!

PROS (just a few to try to keep this brief)
- Knowledge: Andrew stays up to speed on pretty much anything related to therapy. It's not just a job to him (or other therapists there). You can tell he's genuinely passionate about helping people get better, and spends a lot of time both inside and outside of the office honing his craft. If you spend any amount of time there, don't be surprised to hear therapists talking about new techniques, latest research findings, or variations in ways to treat a particular ailment. Which brings me to my next point...

- Customized care: Not only do they know their stuff, they are genuinely invested in applying their knowledge in ways to best help their patients recover. Though my surgeon provided a general rehab schedule, Andrew customized each session based on how I was progressing. Early in my treatment, he was careful to help me pace so I didn't risk reinjury. As we progressed, he would often ever-so-gently trick (I mean encourage) me to do more to help build strength. But he didn't didn't just blindly or carelessly try to push me. On a couple of the days when he noticed unusual soreness or lack of mobility, he scrapped that day's "plan" altogether and adjusted to just work on flexibility. The attentiveness was very much appreciated.

- Fun: Frankly, therapy can be boring. Coming into an office just to struggle through stretches and exercises you used to be able to do with can get monotonous. But Andrew and staff have a great way of keeping sessions lively and interesting. Through weekend recaps, dives down the Google rabbit hole on random topics, jersey Fridays, planning office Olympic games, etc...they are always engaging which makes everything much less of a chore and helps you build the level of consistency needed to progress.

CONS
- Andrew is a Dallas Cowboys fan. Though you would be completely justified in feeling this point is egregious enough to outweigh many of the pros listed above and call his overall judgment into question, I would encourage you to do your best to overlook this character flaw as I can attest that it does not reflect his level of professional acumen.

I went to Advance Rehab a couple of years ago for rehab after an ACL reconstruction surgery and recently due to a neck muscle tear. I had an awesome experience both times and promptly achieved full recovery. I would 100% recommend this place. Awesome location and personnel.

I came into Advance Rehab 2 days after ACL Reconstruction surgery and immediately was put onto a path for success. Every step of the recovery process went smoothly thanks to Andrew and Alex's close attention. And most importantly, they got me moving! At my 6 month follow up with my doctor, he said I was stronger and better recovered than the vast majority of ACL patients, and I attribute that to the activity-focused therapy I received. I would highly recommend Advance Rehab to anybody looking to get back to moving and exercising.

I had a wonderful experience going to Advance Rehabilitation for my treatment. The staff members were all very friendly, and Savanah was an exceptionally skilled PT. The sessions were effective, and I was back on my way in no time. Should the need ever arise again, I would absolutely trust them with my care.

I would recommend Advance for all your PT needs. I went in with severe swelling on my right knee, without a referral and appointment. Ashley was very polite and helpful and set up an appointment the very next day with Savanah Rice. Ashley also helped in coordinating with my Insurance company, I didn't need to make a single phone call or email. It just took me 5 sessions with Savanah and I was back to my original state. It has been 3 weeks since I last went to Advance and my knee is totally recovered and I'm back to my usual CrossFit and lifting days. A big big thanks to Advance, Savanah and Ashley!

I have had shoulder issues my entire life, have been to 5+ different PTs, and this was BY FAR the best experience. I grew up playing tennis so my shoulder has been perpetually messed up, but this most recent event was a torn labrum where I got shoulder surgery in June. Andrew got recommended to me by my surgeon and he did not disappoint. He has a professional and fun bedside manner and is very knowledgable in the field. The people that work for him are kind and effective. AND my shoulder is as good as it has ever felt. I can finally throw a ball again and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Andrew Benton and Advanced Rehab to anyone who wants their physical life to improve. My only complain is that he's a Cowboys fan, but perhaps that's something you can overlook if you want to be healthy.

I had a wonderful experience at the Advance Rehabilitation's location here in Midtown Atlanta. I had S/P Cervical Spinal Fusion on June 1st. My Neurosurgeon had already informed me before the surgery that I would have to have some physical therapy. shoulder and neck muscles had to be retrained. Later about 8 weeks later they started working to help my Lumbar Stenosis I made an appointment with Advance and got one the very next week. My initial session was with Dr. Andrew Benton and he made me feel comfortable right from the start. He introduced himself, we fist bumped and he put me right to work. The next session was with Dr. Benton as well and not only did he have me do some of the routine I did the first session but then he added something different.
I was always greeted by the front desk staff very professionally and very friendly. The therapists there are just the greatest. They are kind, professional and makes sure that you are getting the rehab regiment foe your particular condition. Dr. Andrew Benton and his amazing staff are so welcoming and always take an interest in you as a person is just the greatest. I got to work with Dr. Benton, Alex and Anthony who were very good at their job of getting you healed and back as close to your old self as bodily possible. They made it interesting, challenging and fun because they mixed things up so no boredom was ever entertained. You also put in a lot of work that sometimes I worked up a sweat but felt so good afterwards because they soothe you down with an Ice pack or heat pad. That is when you get to take a slight nap, at least I did because it was so relaxing. The facility is so neat and clean. They have a full range of equipment to assist each individual patient to aid them in their recovery. I did not want to have to go through physical therapy but I chose a great facility with great people that mad you feel so welcome. It was a joy for me and I'm glad I went to Advance Rehabilitation's facility in Midtown Atlanta. If you are ever in need of some physical rehabilitation, this is the facility for you. They also have free parking as well. I want to thank the entire staff from the receptionists and the therapists for making this experience a fun and happy one.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility! If you are injured and need physical therapy, I highly suggest you come here! I worked with Andrew Benton and he exceeded my expectations! Not only did he completely heal the tendinitis in my shoulder, but he was so nice and patient and knowledgeable! Also grateful to both Ashley’s at the front desk who go above and beyond!

I had a great experience at Advanced Rehab. I came in for patellar tendonitis and have since made a full recovery. Andrew was fantastic to work with--he was very attentive and guided me through plenty of great exercises that helped me heal quickly. Alex was also very helpful in walking me through certain exercises and explaining their benefits. Lastly, Ash made scheduling and dealing with insurance a breeze. Everyone in the office is amicable and fun to talk to, which makes time fly by even when you're doing exercises! As a Midtown resident, the location is very convenient and parking is easy. All in all, I highly recommend Andrew and his team at Advanced Rehab!

There is a therapist here name Aaron. I first discovered him at Atl Falcon Therapy and followed him to this facility. I've had a lot of physical therapy with my condition since childhood into adulthood but none have ever given me the relief I experience each and every time Aaron lays his blessed "magical hands" on me. Yes, I tell him this on every visit, you have "magical hands"

Unlike most physical therapy places you get an amazing amount of personal attention. Andrew and Savannah are both excellent.

I strained my neck horribly and went to Advance Rehab in Midtown in May. I was seen by Andrew and Alex over the course of about 8 weeks and both of them were so caring and wonderful and really took time to explain exercises to me and help me through the pain. They understood that I was interested in truly healing my body and preventing future strains, rather than just taking pills like some other doctors push. Unfortunately I have had two smaller strains since, however I believe that all of the work that I did with Alex and Andrew made these strains not nearly as bad as the first instance which prompted me to get help from them. I HIGHLY recommend this Physical Therapy center and the therapists. I would absolutely see them again if needed...or more likely when needed. Thanks again for everything guys!

I was having problems with my knee after a minor meniscus tear and thanks to Dr. Alex Honeycutt at Advance Rehab in midtown Atlanta, my knee is doing great. Plus, he's taught me so much about exercises and stretches that will help me prevent future issues. He's now helping me with my chronic back pain and I'm confident that he will give me the skills I need to move beyond years of suffering. I highly recommend Dr. Honeycutt as an excellent physical therapist!

I’ve come here for two separate injuries over the last couple of years and worked with several of the therapists. They have been absolutely great. Andrew and Alex have both been so helpful in getting me back to doing my regular daily activities after a torn meniscus that had me on crutches when I first came to them. Very knowledgeable, patient, and clear about explaining my injuries as well as the steps towards achieving the goals we laid out during consultations. The front desk is also super helpful with figuring out insurance and working with you for appointments. Definitely recommend this place!

My total knee replacement on March 6/23 had literally brought me to my knees in pain, not because of the surgery, that was a huge success, but due to nerve pain. For the past 8 weeks Andrew has not only managed to help me reach full range of motion, he has also kept me sane when dealing with this pain, with his gentle and effective therapy, while I gave my best effort 3 times per week. Showing up for PT became the best part of my day. He knew what I was going through, knew the best way to help me and really encouraged me. Now that I have had a nerve ablation & the pain is gone, he is assisting me with the next steps in therapy, which I am confident will make me 100% again. I also need to give 5 stars to his student Alex who is knowledgeable, explains everything, encouraging and personable.

The staff at Advance Rehabilitation is always helpful, friendly, and supportive. I have been seeing Aaron Small for a knee problem and working with him has been a great experience. He is professional, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Their location is also great—easy to get in and out of.

Ive been to a lot of different PTs in my life and working with Aaron has been by far the best experience! He’s been helping me with a less demanding state of rehab, but I wish I had had him post-surgery. He’s kind and easy to talk to, and he makes sure to check in on your progress and adapt throughout your work together. I would recommend him to any and everybody. :)
