We tried many times to reach the IRS by phone and it took months before we could talk to a live person. We explained that I needed to assist the person with the tax issue because they had a head injury and the agent approved it. They scheduled an appointment for us at the Houma office. When we got there on 1/18/23 at 1:30 the guard told us the IRS agent said I could not assist the person with the head injury and were denied services. Why are our taxpayer dollars paying for these ignorant, cowardly, and lazy people?

Had a 9:30 am appt for a month and a half. I was 9 minutes late and they canceled my appt and refused to see me. I drove over an hour to get there, and no compassion or customer svc.
