Fremin's Restaurant

Really surprising place. The ambience is nice, the personnel is super courteous. I had a great 3 course meal. The scallops were cooked to perfection and amazing. For main course I had steak and crab with bernaise, the crab cake was delicious, I order my steak medium rare but it came out more as a medium well, still it was great. And a nice piece of cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert. All in all a good experience that I might be doing again pretty soon...

Excellent cocktails (strawberry mojito), very tasteful redfish belle river …maybe too acidic with the vinegar, I would probably keep the sweet side from mash potatoes with bacon…

This was my first time at this restaurant and I really enjoyed the food and service. It’s a nice, quaint restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. It is reservations only and the bar is first come first serve. Im accustomed to booking reservations electronically, however I don’t think this feature is available. It would be more convenient for customers to have this option. I will definitely be back.

Romantic upscale setting for a date. Great steak! Great blackened redfish! Service was on point! Great night out.

The chargriiled oysters, eggplant with remelaude, and Seafood Napoleon are must haves. I love this little quaint taste of South Louisiana tucked away in downtown Thibodaux

I can't say enough about the culinary delights here. It's my all time favorite place to eat. I absolutely adore the staff. They treat me like a queen!

This place is the best you can get in Thib! Yummy food and great service! Is on the expensive side, so be prepared to pay a lot. They have a chocolate mouse cake there 😍

We brought my dad and niece out to celebrate their birthdays last night and had a wonderful evening. Our server, Matthew was exceptional and really made the experience golden. He even offered a few vegan options that weren't listed on the menu so if you have special requests, don't hesitate to ask, as he was very accommodating. The service, food, and atmosphere were all on point. Couldn't have asked for a better night!

Went on my birthday. Matthew was the server. Had a light meal of grilled oysters, salad & old fashion cocktail. Delicious! Then , he brought out a birthday surprise-Fantastic bread pudding with a caramel sauce birthday wish! Just delightful!! It’s a lovely place that Knows how to make a day special.

I have been hired to work there. I did prep work today for a catered wedding party tomorrow. ( yes we do that too) very professional, very loving and family oriented, fantastic place to work and fantastic place to eat. come see us and judge for yourself.

Everything was absolutely awesome. Our appetizers, our martinis, our entree and our dessert were all perfect. Super delectable and unique. Plus they gave us a dessert complimentary for our anniversary. The service was amazing as well!!! 10/10

First time at this place and Thibodeaux in general, will for sure be coming back!

What a find! We drove 20 miles out of our way to go here and it was worth it! My wife had never liked eggplant before, but after their eggplant napoleon, she said she would be willing to try eggplant other places. Great service, great food, a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Surprised to see such a level of food in such an out of the way location.

My daughter's baby shower was held at Fremin's Saturday. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with every detail of our event. From my first contact with Dina the coordinator who worked closely with me to provide exactly what we needed- to Chad who helped getting everything needed to decorate up to the second floor. The servers whose names elude me now, were so friendly, professional and incredibly helpful and reassuring. The food was delicious, the Mimosas with choice of fruit served by the awesome bar tender, perfection. The venue was perfect for our small group of 24. The balcony is charming. Everything was more than I could have hoped for. HIGHY recommend Fremin's!

I'm having a hard time putting it into words how much I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The service from the staff was absolutely phenomenal. I'm from Oregon and was spending a vacation in Louisiana and happened upon this restaurant. I am SO happy I decided to stop in Thibodaux and would most certainly return JUST for the fried snapper :) Thank you for the best dining experience I had out of every town I visited! (NOLA, Baton Rouge, Raceland, Lafayette).

Food is great! The service (seated at the bar) was great! They were having problems with their phones, but after calling three times in a row, and no one answering, their bar tender called me back on his personal phone! Great employee, they need to treat him good, we only went because of his "call back" to us!

I attended a wedding here. It was a beautiful wedding with a charming atmosphere, upscale yet very intimate. Most of the food was very good, especially the roast, though i think they cheated on their gumbo.
