Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion

Breakfast and evening drinks are awesome. The location is great too; close to good shopping centres. The rooms could be better, the kitchenette especially needs a bit of upgrade. Got charged extra $18 for parking. I called the customer service for a refund, they promised to but never did. Overall, still one of the better deals in that axis cost wise. I am still waiting for my 18 bucks to be refunded.

I had an outstanding experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Chevy Chase Pavilion. The spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast,and evening receptions were highlights. The hotel's prime location and attentive staff made an delightful experience, perfect for both business and leisure travelers alike. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay.

So far my stay has been wonderful! Easy checkin for my reservation. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was great as well. Made to order omelets with fresh ingredients. The staff has been kind as well as the guest that you come into contact with. I wish I knew the front desk lady name as she was great with checkin and information about the hotel and area! Love it! I would stay here again.

The hotel and rooms were very clean!!!! The Cheesecake factory food was cold due to they were upset that we ordered a turkey club sandwich, egg rolls and shrimp 15 minutes before they closed and they let it sit there for almost 20 minutes before someone bought out my food. I gave the young man who bought out my food a tip. The breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay here again but I will not go to the cheesecake factory again.

Excellent location above the Metro. Great breakfast and great reception. The people are very kind. Great rooms for a family of 5.

The hotel staff is really good, specially Nirina at the reception. Our entire team had some issue with our booking and she managed it all well right from co-ordinating with the Hotel to the app I booked it on.

If I were to come back to the hotel again it would be because of three people, one at the reception called David and two others in the restaurant Sadia and Mohamed, one of the most respectful people I have met.

I've been coming here for so long and did not know there was a pool or a hot tub.
I'll be returning just for that of course the breakfast.
It's great.

The room was spacious, clean and a great price - good location for where we needed to go. We enjoyed the pool with our family and complimentary happy hour. Very satisfied! Only negative, hotel staff didn't reply to our room service request through the Hilton App.

Mahi Kindie is one of the managers there and she is fantastic. She went above and beyond to assist me on a complicated matter. Very professional and pleasant to work with.

Great amenities and close to the metro. Tatiana is the best, they should move her to the bar it’s a shame she’s tucked away in the corner. Would be a much better atmosphere if the bar opened up

We were in DC for a week and were so grateful to stay at this hotel. The staff greeted our party with a smile daily and were working so hard to meet the needs of each guest. We appreciated the wonderful made to order full breakfast to start our day off full (shout out to Richard:) and ready to explore the city on the red line just downstairs from the hotel. The pool and the laundry room on the top floor were another added bonus for those travelers with children. If you do stay here there are two grocery stores in walking distance and Cylde's has the most wonderful crab cakes just 5 min away from hotel. We would stay here again on our next trip!

A subway station is right below the hotel, and elevator will take you to the metro, good breakfast, not the best but with some options. The evening welcoming is cool good to chill out after a visit to the museums. The room was good but we didnt get what we ask due to overbooking.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. Whenever we needed additional assistance, they did so happily and speedily. The breakfast staff were amazing as well, super friendly and i enjoyed going down to get an omelet every morning! We could see the 4th of July fireworks from our window as well.

This was my first time staying at the Embassy suites in the DMV area. The rooms are amazing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and most importantly Karen, who checked me in on Tuesday was absolutely amazing and kind.. great people.

I recommend this hotel because of its location, room size, amenities, appliances, staff service, breakfast buffet, and quality for the price. The Friendship Heights Metro Station is right beneath the building, there is a Cheesecake Factory located on the second floor near the lobby, and there is also plenty of shopping to do in the surrounding area. However, it's worth mentioning that the thermostat controlled the common area more so than the connected bedroom, and the beds were slanted downwards at the top. These are not deal breakers for me, but if this is the same situation for other people's rooms, then it should be taken into consideration. Overall, a great stay for my graduation weekend!

Pros: Great location. Easy access to parking (in/out privileges for $32/night). This is really not that bad considering you are in a city. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Suite was quite large including table/chairs/kitchenette/large pull-out couch, etc. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Breakfast was amazing. Made to order omelettes, potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, and toast/bagels were offered every day. And french toast! Definitely the best free breakfast I've ever had. Staff were SO nice. They had plenty of help to serve the food and clear your tables. And always with a smile. There are plenty of tables/chairs and we never waited more than a couple mins to get our food. There was also a free "happy hour" each night with a free drink for all adults and some snacks. Beer, wine, and select mixed drinks were available. The snacks included pretzels, chips, nuts, and crackers/cheese. Not the highest of quality, but not bad for FREE!

Cons: Hot tub was hot, but no bubbles. I called about it and they sent someone right away. Could not fix though, which was a HUGE bummer. Another guest said it hadn't worked the previous week either. So not sure what's going on there...
And the complaints about the pool are accurate. Every day from basically 9-7pm there is a swimming school that gives lessons. You can use the pool while this is going on, but there is not much space.

Other important notes: this hotel is basically in a mall that is now a ghost town. It was actually quite eery seeing all of the shops closed and no one walking the halls or going up/down the escalators. It is quite peaceful though as a hotel! The only thing we noticed that was open was The Cheesecake Factory. We ordered out once from there and enjoyed the fried mozz and sliders. And of course a slice of cheesecake! Pricey, but quick and tasty.

Overall, if you can get a discount on the room rate I would highly recommend this hotel.

We are enjoyed our 2 night stay here on 2nd May to 4th May. Great location and metro station just right down the lift. Self parking in garage and the cost is $26 per night. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoy the complimentary happy hours drinks at 5.30pm to 7pm. The room and bed are clean and comfortable, we requested a baby crib for our 10months old baby as well. All good and amazing stay in DC.

I highly recommend this hotel! Being right above the Metro was very convenient and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic! There were a couple of inconveniences. There are also a couple of nice restaurants just a short walk away; Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano’s. There were a couple of negatives. Some of the plugs were not working in the room but we were able to find places to recharge everything. Also, there was no room service on Saturday but there were plenty of fresh towels on hand. So overall a great place to stay!

Excellent location! Great maintained rooms, nice indoor pool area especially for families. Easy on and off the metro with never going outside !
