Dr. Boyd’s Veterinary Resort

I have an anxious/reactive Rottweiler that I take to Dr. Boyd’s, the team there treats him better than any other clinic we’ve taken him to (not trying to bash names because everyone does the best they can when it comes to a reactive big pup) and they blow my mind with each visit with the amount of professionalism they have. They’re always very understanding and accommodating and we’re in and out very quick so my pup can have the easiest experience there.
They have such a warm atmosphere when you walk into the building and everyone is always super nice!
My pup is being re-homed out of state, but if/when we decide to care for another pet we will certainly come back to Dr. Boyds for the best care possible.

Today was my first time using the vet service for my German shepherd and miniature poodle. I really fell in love with the atmosphere when I first walked in. I loved the design and layout of the lobby, I loved how friendly EVERYONE was. I felt that it was a really nice experience for my dogs and especially my German shepherd. They weren’t afraid of him and they treated him like he was a baby which was a really nice change from other vets we’ve seen. I also was a fan of them not pushing unnecessary products on my dogs. I can finally say that I’ve found out fur-ever vet.

Our 8 year old dog was having trouble breathing on Sunday before sun rise. They saw him right away and quickly got him oxygen. Through X-rays and other imaging they diagnosed him with pneumonia. Keeping him on oxygen they aggressively treated him with iv antibiotics. He was able to breathe on his own and come home that night. Throughout the process they have been very communicative and upfront about pricing. They let us know all our treatment options but did not pressure us one way or the other. They also called on Monday just to check and see how our dog was doing. Very pleased with their service and so thankful for their genuine desire to help my pet.Dr . Thompson was our doctor and she was wonderful.

Simply amazing! If you are looking for a place to bring your beloved and cherished fur babies, look no further. Dr. Boyd’s is phenomenal. Dr. Boyd is amazing, brilliant, and an incredible human who loves what he does. We have taken our beloved pets in when they were not well, over holidays and on a moments notice. Always seen with great care and thoughtfulness.

I honestly don't think I could say enough good things about Dr. Boyd's. We only used their services for a short time (due to moving out of the area) but had the most amazing, attentive, caring service from absolutely everyone at this clinic. Dr. Wesson is wonderful and shows such passion and dedication, and the staff were all very warm and professional. I always felt like my pup was in good hands when there, and without a doubt we would have continued using this vet if we remained local. I recommend this office to absolutely everyone!

Love this practice. The vets are very knowledgeable and everyone on the staff has been so nice. Facility is clean and they have lots of space in the waiting area to keep everyone in their own space. Love watching the doggy day care cameras too.

This is the best place! First, Eazy's (bernedoodle) Vet has saved him from a UTI and stomach parasitic infection (he came with from the breeder) at a very reasonable price. The staff cares! The price is very reasonable. Second, daycare is a blast for Eazy! He loves the staff and the small group of dogs he is with for daycare. They do an immaculate job at organizing this. I love watching it on Doggy cam. Third, Eazy loves his baths they give him every 3 weeks at a reasonable price. The most important thing is that Eazy loves and gets excited to go to Dr. Boyd's and they truly care. Thank you all!

Been taking my dog here for four years. The vets are always great and help get my buddy better. Dr. Wesson we have a lot of experience with and we love him you can tell he stays up to date on all things animal related and really loves dogs and cats. The daycare is also great with live cameras and indoor and outdoor options.

Dr Wesson and his team of Veterinary professionals proved to be best decision I've made for our beloved dog, Oreo. Having moved to this area North Bethesda in the last year, we can say we have found our Veterinary home.

Dr. McKenna and her assistant were gentle and thorough with our babies. 5. Easy check out with paperwork already lined up. Very happy with the visit, highly recommend!

Outstanding veterinary care at this clinic. Their operations are seamless, and the entire staff is well-informed, streamlining both phone communications and appointment processes. Dr. Wesson stands out with his vast knowledge and remarkable patience.

Dr. Malehorn is amazing and the staff is great too! We followed her from another practice and she is the most through and caring vet we've ever had. Plus their day care and boarding is fantastic!

The best vets! They take great care of my two English bulldogs. Each of the vets I have interacted with are warm, enthusiastic, answers all my questions, and explains after-care thoroughly. Their front staff is also kind and welcoming.

Well trusted staff that will make sure your pet is having a great time and also being safe. All the pets there are nice and enjoy playing in the yards with pools and bubbles! If your pet isn’t comfortable playing with other they do one on one walks so they get fresh air and enjoy being with a handler!
Cats are also welcome too and they have their own area!

Over all love the facility and the workers! Great place to bring your furry friend for daycare, boarding or a spa day, and just to get shots and overall the best care they can get!

I cannot say enough to express how great these doctors and staff are. There are many veterinarians closer to my home, but here I and my pets see the same doctors, not a revolving cascade of doctors I do not know and who do not know my pets, and I get expert diagnoses, a description of steps that may or may not be needed at a point in time, and at a reasonable cost.

My 10year old border collie and I first found Dr. Boyd's b/c my pup.was having anxiety and/or getting into dust ups at other daycare locations in the area. The Dr Boyd's daycare is a wonderful place for the pup. Then I decided to make Dr Boyd's our pcp and that's been a wonderful switch too. The clinical staff are professional, they listen and engage in conversation we with you about a care plan. Everyone in I've met in past year had been engaged, and dogcare first. As economy continues open up, I've used boarding for about 10 days since February. My dog comes home happy, tired and calm. I'm very happy as a customer.

We use Dr. Boyd's for both daycare and their veterinary services. I can't recommend them enough! Our puppy is still waiting on her final shots, so she can't go in with other dogs yet. The staff here take care of her separately. She loves them so much that she pulls at her leash to get inside everyday!! They are always so nice and caring, and there are pictures posted regularly, as well as a live stream. I feel really safe with my pup there :)

friendly staff. it was a late request for daycare for my dog they took him in and I could tell by how he acted when I picked him up he had a great time. I watched him online and the staff was very nice and observant. because they have insured vets they are able to provide vaccines if since are needed prior to admission. lots of play space. pricing us reasonable. we will be back and have recommended them.
