So delishous, the general Tao chicken was so amazing we loved it, the wait staff was amazing and made sure we were satisfied, the portions were large. Definitely worth it.

A place my family has Enjoyed for Generations , Great people ! Great food! Not trendy , didn’t leave hungry ! Hungry after drive to Whidbey ! Left overs ! Best fried rice ever! I’m not Asian , but was a Navy brat then a 22 year sailor ! Had fried rice in many a place !

This throwback Chinese restaurant is quaint and tasty. Inside is dark and 50s decor. Staff are very helpful and the portions are large. You can't go wrong with a meal here!

The hot and sour soup here is SO delicious, best I have ever had. My mother in law and I come regularly and are always met with great service and quality. The server we usually have during lunch, Tonya is phenomenal and incredibly kind and it is always a joy to see her! Excellent people and even better food!

I have been a frequent visitor of this establishment for many years now. Was so sad when they were closed for a while due to the pandemic. Let me say this, they make a dam stiff (and tasty good) drink for just a few bucks. But this review is more about their delicious sweet and spicy spare ribs. Love em! My last order recently was tender and sweet with just the right amount of spice. I ordered from grub hub and upon delivery food was still warm. I recently moved 20 miles away but still make sure to order from this place regularly and plan on visiting again soon. I'm glad they are still open and serving food, I know times are really tough. I am so looking forward to ordering those sweet and spicy spare ribs again - goes great with a cranberry vodka too. Icing on the cake : home made hot Chinese mustard, an absolute must try! Will clear any sinus blockage and set your whole head on fire- and yummy

Hands down some of the best Chinese food in the region. One of the few that has Cantonese style crispy chow mein.

Lovely atmosphere. They serve you free hot tea, and there's a lot of space. I've sadly never seen it crowded. But it deserves a lot more love than it seems to get.

I have to say this is some of the best Dine-In Chinese food around. I love eating here. They are always friendly, generous portions, and always will to make substitutions. Do to staffing issues they do close early so don't try to make it a late dinner night.

Nothing like the food in China...but definitely the Best local American-Chinese. Red Lotus delivers quality product at a great price. They changed their menu and cooking style a couple of years ago all for the healthier better! I feel nostalgia when I walk in the doors, not only from the late 60's decor, but the warmth and welcoming of the staff and service. Food arrivals promptly and perfect...EVERY Time. What a blast. I look forward to taking grandchildren there one day.

Delicious! Just like I remembered! I must admit after reading some of the other reviews on here I was worried but for absolutely no reason at all. We had not eaten here in a while but the staff was friendly, food was wonderful and we were extremely happy with the overall experience. If Panda Express and grocery store deli Chinese food is your idea of what Chinese food should taste like.... probably not for you. There isn't supposed to be spaghetti noodles in Chinese food. They were short staffed (like all businesses right now) but remained professional, prompt and friendly. Cannot wait to return again for more. 10 ⭐.

I love this place! My family and I have been coming here since I was a little kid. We have regular Friday night dinners as well as many gatherings and events in the back room. The owners have always been accommodating and friendly. The decor isn't the most modern or updated but the food and the staff always great.

I have been coming here since I was 7. This was my parents favorite restaurant from that point which was 1987. In all those years I can tell you the quality has remained the same (nearly perfection for Americanized Chinese food) and not once have I been let down from those high expectations. Consistency is key and quality here is definitely consistent.

If you haven't tried their Peking Pork Belly you are missing out!
They probably have the best Chinese food in this area. I've been frequenting the Red Lotus for about 40 years and although I've been to many different Chinese restaurants I always go back to Red Lotus.
The waite staff is great, I'm especially happy to get Danielle, she's always been very nice and a great waitress.
I'm not sure where any negative comments come from but give them a try, you'll be glad you did and don't forget to order the Pek8ng Pork Belly, yum!

I have been coming to this restaurant since the 70's. It has always been are families favorite place. And not just my immediate family either. And many friends I know still come here to. It was nice to see that they did finally update the inside. This is one place that has not changed the menu very much over the years and doesn't need to. I will still go to this place and order to go orders from for as long as I can.

Danielle is a fabulous waitress. Wait for food wasn't long and as always it was super good. My 98 year old Mom LOVES the Sweet and Sour Chicken.

This has been our go-to place for American style Chinese comfort food for years (like we used to get at Sunset in Renton in the 70's). The interior is wonderfully dated and the food is always good. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get with the dinners. Too bad they replaced the egg rolls with spring rolls tho.

Great food and service was excellent even though they were super busy with a banquet. The waitress was also training 2 people. She was awesome. Thank you for making my friends 60th birthday an event to remember. She has been through a lot battling stage 4 cancer and having chemo. ❤

So I felt like sitting down and having some Chinese and a few drinks...you know like back when the world made sense...the waitress was AWESOME, she recommended the family meal for 2 as I wanted some to take home
..and served me this huge feast, answered the phone, seated and waited on others and NEVER missed a beat...it had been a long time since I have sat in a restaurant she made it fun!!! I will go back!!!

I don't know much about what good Chinese food should be like, but from what I had, I was satisfied. Tagged along with a friend, we both had a good time together, enjoyed the food, and was served with care even with their situation.
