John's Italian Pizza Restaurant

It was a wonderful experience at John's Pizza! It was a big storm and we took refuge and were grateful to have a delicious spaghetti with marinara sauce dinner. They make a really good marinara! The staff were friendly and helpful.

I always love this place, but tonight I didn't have the best service. It's usually great. I guess everyone has bad days once in a while.

This place was wonderful. The food was delicious. They make their own dough. My calzone was perfectly cooked and the sauce was excellent (also made in house) and as you can see from the photo the portions are extremely generous. Will definitely be going back

100/100 it’s amazing, I’ve been going here since I was 3 and it was amazing. I learned about this place because my mom worked here, and one of my favorite things was the pinball gum ball machine they used to have. When my mom took me to work with her she would give me a quarter for it, and so would the owner when my mom was doing something. In all It’s a great place, and was a huge part of my good memories.

A friend told me about this place. It doesn't look good from the outside but the inside was nice and clean. The waiter was very friendly the food was fantastic I had the special 2 slices of pizza salad and a drink my friend had the two stuffed shells special which includes a salad and a drink my other friend had the tuna sub special which included chips and a drink we also had an order of onion rings all was really good. The prices were very reasonable. You will not leave here hungry

We have ordered from John’s many time, and we have always had a great experience. Their pizzas are always amazing, and our friends from out of town have also commented on how amazing their pizza and other dishes are! That’s huge! Especially since some of these friends are from places considered pizza meccas! We’ve also dined at John’s and we love the great service and the cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere i the restaurant. It’s always clean and well kept. We enthusiastically recommend John’s and thank them for being willing to delivering to us in Moncure!

I try cheesesteak sandwiches at lots of places. At John's Italian it was a little dry. I guess I like them sloppier with more cheese and grilled onions. We liked the calzone and want to try the stromboli. And I appreciate having Coca Cola served.

It is a great place to go for lunch.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in town. Overall everything is quite tasty. Strombolis are probably my favorite. The value for the amount of food is great.

The staff did a remarkable job during the party couple of years. At times the wait is a tiny bit long, but with everything made fresh I sort of expect that. If your are in a tight rush plan ahead accordingly!

First time customer, deluxe pizza with extra cheese delivered! I think their delivery radius is 5 miles and they still delivered to us (6 miles). The pizza is just fantastic. I don’t really love pizza but we just moved recently and needed something convenient. Wasn’t expecting to find a new pizza joint! It’s SO GOOD! Better than any chain, that’s for sure. I look forward to having it again.

I'm from the Northeast and this was one of the best pizza's I've had since moving down here in 2011. The crust is thin, the eggplant was sliced paper thin, not too much sauce, and the extra cheese was great! The service was very good as well. Definitely going back.

My daughter loves wings, she says John’s has the best around. The ranch is good, pizza has always been great! I would suggest pickup up or dine in as the delivery can be slow. Great service!

Enjoyed a cheese pizza. Crust was perfect and pizza was hot. Staff friendly, attentive, and pleasant.

Pizza is always amazing. We went for breakfast this morning and were pleasantly surprised. The pancakes were tasty and huge, bacon good, and coffee was okay. Everything was good, but the French toast could use some work... not too much flavor. Will return!

You can't go wrong with John's Italian Pizza!!! Not just pizza!! All the food we've had has been as good as it gets without going to a high priced big box store.
If you have had NEW YORK PIZZA in NYC then prepaid yourself for a pleasant surprise.
John's dad was trained in NYC in Italian cuisine, and it shows!!

What a pleasant surprise. John's Pizza has a geat crust and a wonderfully rich sauce. In addition to pizza they have a host of wonderful dishes on their menu. The service is great. I've had many a lunch and dinner here and never once disappointed.

The food is amazing the calzones, Stromboli and pizzas are my favorite I always do pickup not a fan of the atmosphere but the food is amazing...

Our favorite is the Primavera, which has fresh cooked broccoli and zucchini.

There was a time when they were so busy, they did not answer the phone. Glad that has improved.

My favorite pizza joint in town!! It just brings ll the Italian vibes. I have been seeing some bad reviews saying that the service is too slow. It can get a bit slow sometimes but it's worth the wait. Rome wasn't built in a day XD.

First experience with this place and I am not disappointed. Got my favorite a ham and pepperoni calzone and it has lots of fresh creamy ricotta and was topped perfectly with melted butter and Parmesan I believe. This place reminds me of all the great mom and pop places where I grew up in central pa. Next time I'll try the pizza or a pasta. The sauce is also really good. Go try them out.
