Pop’s Country Skillet

Today was my first visit to Pops. It wasn't an ordinary visit because out of incredible compassion, they invited my family into their restaurant for a bereavement dinner for the loss of my granddaughter.
Their food was outstanding, the servers caring and attentive. Everything was spot on.
I hope to go back again. Please chose Pops for a meal!

First time I've went to a country restaurant in a while. Got to say my family and I were so very pleasantly surprised. Great food, awesome people, I've been about 5x in the last month. Love it. Wings are great and my kids keep asking to back. Couldn't ask for better service or food. I do wish they had hotter wing sause for the wings but even without that, it's still probably one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time. Thank you "Pops"!

Love this place. My husband and I ate here for the first time today and we live 10 minutes away and boy was we missing out. I highly recommend anyone to check this place out. Everyone is so friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. We will be back with the family very soon.

I've only ever gotten it to go, but the lady up front is always super nice friendly and helpful. The waitresses have been very attentive also when I needed a menu or to make sure I was taken care of. The food is fresh, properly prepared and quite delicious. I haven't had anything that I didn't really enjoy. With McDonald's costing 10 bucks, I'll pay the two extra bucks including tax to walk out the door with a plate like this. Scrumptious.

Love this little place! We've been eating here for a number of years now! Great service and food! The people are really friendly and happy. Usually pretty busy for breakfast, but I think it's worth it!

Southern comfort food at it's best. Black and white Western show on the TV, great service, and the food was delicious!

First time visit as we needed to go to Stanley. This is like the old country restaurants we used to go to and enjoy so very much. Food was great, staff was great and the place just was so friendly. Definitely will be going back even though it's not close.

Ate there tonight! Loved it. The double cheeseburger is HUGE! And the ranch was great!

Went to Friendly's of Stanley over the weekend with my wife and mother in law. My wife and i just moved to area so we wanted to try local restaurants.
We wnt for breakfast. Food was awesome (except for bologna that came w the meal, but I am not a fan of bologna so I can't judge to be fair), service was attentive and thoughtful, and the atmosphere is that of a truly small town Cafe with ties to the community. Will definitely be coming back and hope to make this a weekly spot!

Great fast friendly service. Food was fresh and served quickly. Kept coffee topped off and overall a great experience for breakfast. Will eat here again for sure!

I ordered French toast with cinnamon and powdered sugar and they two egg breakfast plate. Everything was delicious. My son got a gravy biscuit. It was delicious.

Great southern classics that feel like grandma's home cooked food. The people there are friendly and helpful. Look forward to returning until I try everything on the menu.

Great little breakfast place! Was in the area over the weekend, drove past, saw a full parking lot, so decided to check it out. Very friendly staff, comfortable environment and great food. It took a little bit long to get my food but well worth the wait.
You cant go wrong with this place.
