Tastiest and by far the Best Bacon Cheeseburger in Town. Great drive-in feel and dine-in experience. Sounds like the place has been around since the 60s

The food here was AMAZING! Perfect diner food that wasn't greasy, was very tasty, and had great texture. I had the Lotta chicken and my mother the burger and just... Everything was cooked to perfection. Usually with thin sliced grilled chicken, you run the risk of it being dry, but this was juicy and tender. The burger was juicy and had those delicious crisp around the edges that are burger gold. The fries are wonderfully crisp, coleslaw super creamy and tasty, and the hush puppies are to die for. The cherry limeade is slap yo momma good. The price is amazing for the amount of food you get (which is a lot, but no complaints to that!), and the staff are really nice. If nearby and hungry, definitely give this place a try. Also, they have ice cream, which is the perfect end to a tasty meal in a hot summer's day. Thanks for the delicious meal!

A damn good burger (to quote the other Google review that led me here). The hot fresh patties and the cold slaw are a perfect compliment. Got the double hamburger ($7.99) and cheese (+ $0.98). So. Good.

This place is a regular stop for our family. The best lottaburger around. And we are big fans of the southern favorite, Cherry lemon Sundrop. We rarely dine in, but there is old style one piece booth seating. They have a large menu but we always get the lotta burger - it is the absolute favorite. Fresh hand smashed patty with two small burgers together in one order with fries or we get the hush puppies b/c they travel home better. Reminds me of my childhood, old school burger joint.

Friendly folks working there as well as happy regulars who were happy to make a suggestion when they heard it was our first visit. Everyone loves their food, bread for the patty melt was ridiculously good.

really wish you guys wouldnt sugar up the slaw (yuck) my lotta burger taste sweet . and that simply not the way a lotta burger plate suppose to taste . let alone on a hotdog . save the sweet slaw for the fish camps.

I love this place. All the food items I've tried are great, especially the lottaburger, chuckwagon, tater tots, potato wedges, and fried pickles. They have a cherry lemon sundrop drink that they make with crushed ice and add real cherries and a lemon slice. It's so good!

The building is very outdated, but the decor and oldies music make up for it. There's plenty of tables inside plus a few picnic tables outside.

I do think their menu is overpriced, but we're from out-of-town so it's worth it when we're visiting.

One small drawback is that they are closed on Sundays, so if you're looking to eat here on a weekend you'll have to go on Saturday. Also, they will randomly close on other days of the week for reasons other than holidays. Once we drove there on a Friday and discovered they were closed. There was a small sign on the door saying they would be closed for like three days in a row for something (I can't remember what, but I do remember thinking it was an odd reason).

Ham melt is amazing. Coconut pie is too but they don't have it every day. 😪

I found out about the BrightStar Grill during a recent stay at a nearby hotel. After a short drive over there and a quick look at the menu I decided to go with the Lotta Burger witch cheese (pictured) and a Hot Dog "all the way" and a side of Tater Tots (sorry, no picture).
The food came out after a short wait and the Hot Dog and and and a few taters were consumed quickly, both were delicious.
Moving on to the burger things got a little messy, but in a very gopd way. The balance between the meat, cheese, slaw and bun was simply outstanding. The Lotta Burger with cheese ranks up there in the top 5 traditional burgers I ever had!
That being said, I will most certainly make it a point to stop by the BrightStar Grill the next time in town to try a few other items on the menu that were recommended by the friendly staff, and so should anyone else in the greater Mt. Holly area.

Nothing bad to say. The cheeseburger was really good. Staff was very friendly. I'll return again. Reminds me of Brooks Brothers in Charlotte NC
