National Car Rental

I was scared of how my experience was going to go due to these reviews (I booked a reservation in September). I had no problems getting my rental car, and was a fast and easy process. Thank you to representative Martin! He explained everything very thoroughly.

Upgraded me to a nice car for free, in a middle of nowhere regional airport, so that was awesome. Probably had to get a luxury car back to a main airport hub, but still was a very nice surprise to reserve a budget Nissan and get kicked up to an Infiniti! Great service, very polite counter folks. Would rent from again.

Their entire staff is amazing! I didn’t have a reservation, and walked away with a car in ten minutes. I ended up returning it early, and they gave me a refund on the extra day I paid for. Will always use them!

I was in town for my son's graduation from Engineering @ Camp Lejeune. My flight was cancelled due to a storm. The manager honored the daily rate I had paid, for that extra day. I was so grateful. They were professional and I appreciate their service.

I actually had a very good experience at this location for not having emerald aisle. The staff was super friendly and as I’m executive elite they gave me a list of vehicles to choose from. I was not disappointed. Super fast service too. One star off only because they don’t have an emerald aisle.

I use this agency probably about 3-4 x per month, the staff is always friendly but the service is slow and the selection varies from on some occasions allowing me to choose from 3 upgraded cars to simply giving me the keys for a standard level car. I would describe the overall experience as adequate.

I am a frequent customer with National, this was the first time that I was unhappy with my rental. I was given a white Toyoda Camry that smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I was running late and did not have the opportunity to go back inside to wait for another car. My clothes smelled of cigarette smoke for my entire trip. I still value National over other choices, however I will not just settle next time.

Lost my drivers license but got a paper one from the dmv. I go to get my reservation and tell her what happened and she says I need my old license and the paper copy. I ask how would I have the old license if I lost it? This is followed by some bs story of them having to verify each time that the license is the same. She did offer me to goto dollar general though. I work at airports around the country and have always used national but this is the worst one yet. Now I get to pay $34 each way everytime I have to goto work

The SUV we rented did not have tags, so it was unavailable. They had no vehicles to replace it. We called several days in advance to be sure that we had a vehicle available for our trip. My wife is Emerald Elite and was assured when she called that her VIP rental would be available. They were unable to find a replacement. I would never rent from this location if my wife wasn't required to rent here for her company rental. The other rental companies at the airport had plenty of inventory. The pic is of their empty lot.
