Ideal Pet Care

My cat had a unknown trauma happen and ideal was great getting us in to be seen. Unfortunately the trauma left my cat with needing his leg amputated. Ideal stated they were booked up for surgeries until the new year. The vet was great and moved some things around for our boy to get his leg amputated. The techs and the vet were both awesome and very friendly. Only downside throughout my encounter with ideal was I had a few encounters with the girls or a girl at the desk not having the best customer service. Overall they have been awesome to my family! Thank you for everything! ❤

We had a great first time experience with Ideal Pet Care! They were so polite and professional and answered every question I had regarding our fur-baby. They gave us an estimate of everything that needed to get done and explained everything on the list and were very reasonable in prices! Dr. Brinson and their team are great!

We have lived in Onslow County for several years and have utilized other veterinarians in our area with our previous pets; with some positive and negative experiences.  Recently, we added a miniature dachshund to our family which brought us to Ideal Pet Care.  Dr. Brinson has recently taken ownership of this facility, she is by far one of the most caring veterinarian I have ever met...as first time dachshund parents she took the time to explain dieting, potential medical issues and answered our many questions. Her staff is proficient, professional and very friendly.  The facility itself is clean, newly renovated and is extremely pet friendly.  One of my favorite things during this visit was that we were not treated as dollar signs and numbers but a family with a new fur baby.

I love Ideal! Great staff, great standard of care. Professional, friendly and caring. Also reasonably priced. All eight of my dogs and my new kitten love getting cared for at Ideal ❤

I have taken all of cats here so far and every single time has been amazing! The staff is super friendly and understanding while their prices are AMAZING compared to any other vet. 10/10 recommend

They were so very helpful this morning at the vet office. I went in and said I'd be in the car with the dogs bc it's hard for me to handle both of them at the same time (two 60 to 70lbs each).

So they came out and got me, and put me in the room closest to the outside door. The tech took them individually out to get weighed.
They needed two techs to do their nails.
The vet was super accommodating. I let the tech know my budget, and they worked with me to be able to get everything and only be over budget by $35.

I need to go leave a review.

Had to make the decision to euthanize our 20 yr. Old cat Carrie 🐈 ❤ Never easy, But the folks here at Ideal Pet Care were professional, sweet, caring the entire time.

They take such good care of our dogs. Dr. Brinson and her staff are great. They are becoming increasingly busy so be prepared to schedule your appointments ahead of time. However, if you have an acute issue with your pet they try their best to try and squeeze you into their schedule.

Quick! Efficient! Polite! I usually hate vets offices and thing their prices are ridiculous. This place is reasonably priced and the standard of care is great! Everyone I interacted with was so polite!

I love this vet! We've lived in the area on and off for over 18 years. We used to take our animals on base or out in Jacksonville. When we moved to Richlands I decided to give Ideal a shot. So glad I did. When my dog grew suddenly ill they got us in right away. Though the prognosis was bad, Dr. Wright was supportive and provided us with facts without giving us false hope or pushing unnecessary treatments on us. He answered all my questions and helped my family have some extra time with our dog while making sure she was comfortable. He may come off as gruff but he's very knowledgeable and does genuinely care. I have found that when he does his exam his focus is on the animal, not making chit chat. We now use Ideal for our other dog and our new puppy. Our 16 week old shepherd loves going to the vet!! He was recently diagnosed with allergies and Dr. Wright has shown nothing but compassion towards our dog but empathy towards us as owners. Their prices are comparable to base as well. I've never had any problems with the staff. I've always received great advice when I've called with an issue.

My family has been taking our pets to Ideal Pet Care since 1995. We love it. They treat your pets like family. The new docs are just as great as the former. They definitely take your concerns seriously and make sure your pets are in tip top shape.

We love Dr. Brinson and the staff. They're always so friendly and kind. The provide great care and nothing ever feels overpriced. Just an overall fantastic vet!

The people there are very friendly and good with your dogs.

I was very pleased with the mannerism of the staff. My dog can be timid but he was at complete calm with them the entire time. They let him come to them & didn't seem to rush through the appointment. I switched to this office because my pet needed immediate care & his previous vet home of 6 years wouldn't make an appointment to accommodate me where they were a walk in clinic. Ideal Pet went above & beyond! Dr, Brinson is who we saw & she was spectacular!

They truly care about the animals. They always get you in and out quickly while doing a great job. Reasonably priced. The doctor has been good at getting if you want the problem is. My first dog fought with ear infections for years until we brought him here and received treatment that fix the problem. Highly recommended.

We have been bringing our dog to Ideal Pet Care since 2014. They are EXCEPTIONAL. In the past week, I have called last minute with concerns about our dog, and they have squeezed us in both days I called. Dr. Wright is so knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust our fur child with anyone but Dr. Wright! The staff is more than accommodating. I have always felt the price of the visits was very reasonable and with such high quality of care. I will always recommend Ideal Pet Care to anyone who needs their animal care for!

The facility was clean and very welcoming. From the front desk to the sweetest vet I've ever had the pleasure of encountering, I won't hesitate to go back!
