The Gathering Place

I went to a homegoing today for a loved one.
It was one of the most beautiful homegoing services I’ve ever been to.
At homegoing services, one of the most important factors is for things to be done in decency and order.
They were done in that exact way.
This was a memorial service, where every seat was filled.
You would have thought it was for a celebrity.
If I’m lying, I’m flying.
There was no nonsense going on in the House of God!
The Woman of God was very loving but firm when telling people to please keep comments about the one who passed away Godly.
Let me get to the part where the Woman of Gods preached God’s Word with Love.
The message was Death is Not the final destination.
That message was not scaring people into eternal damnation.
It did make one understand the importance of having the Lord in our lives and living right!
It was Scripture based, but not self-righteous! What stood out to me was there was no show boating or arrogance.
Sometimes when there’s such a full house of people, some preachers try to put on a show
Especially, when some do funerals.
The Holy Spirit flowed so heavy through the Woman of God’s Heart. I’ve been saved for years, trust me I know the Holy Spirit when I hear it. I’m telling you all the Woman
The altar call was done with such Love instead of demand!
When was a child our altar calls were so different when I lived in NY.
To me, they were done in a way I felt scared I was going to burn in eternal fire if I did not go up. I was a heathen at the time, so trust me I needed them done that way back then. I’m just keeping it real.

Whoever the Shepherd of the Gather Place is, he really is teaching his leadership in Excellence! I could tell from the way the Assistant Pastor Preached at this home going service!
A message of God’s grace, Love, and Humility.
So if you ever thought about visiting this church, The Gathering Place please do.
You will not be disappointed.
Even after the Memorial Service was over, the people made sure to put the House of God back together nicely.
