WoW. What a Great church to allow the major Recycling Event of odds and ends materials to be done on their property.
This is truly the Divine meeting of the Mundane World with Our better Spiritual Selves.

Northlake Lutheran Church is the place I was married to my husband 36 years ago and this year my son and his bride returned for their wedding. The church community was wonderful to us, even with a COVID reschedule. The organist and wedding coordinator cheerfully helped with the arrangements and re-arrangements. The pastor who did their marriage preparation moved before the wedding but the new community and family minster stepped right in and officiated in a personal, caring way. Church members stepped up to help us livestream the wedding for those that could not attend. What a great community and what a great place to have a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the sanctuary is light and warm with stained glass and the pipe organ set a beautiful tone.

The church has been taking on problems like people not being able to make it to the food bank head on by getting a community pantry set up. They have also offered up their parking lot and other resources to help shelter a tent city and continue to open their building in times when the cold gets to be dangerously cold. We need more churches that function like this - a Community center.

I've been a member of Northlake Lutheran since I was 7 years old and both of my daughter's and my granddaughter attend. Please come join us for worship and stay to visit during our coffee hour.
