North Wake Animal Hospital

Our new kitten has always had a tough time breathing. We were told it was asthma or just a cold. She never got worse so we just believed it. Finally we had enough and trusted North Wake Hospital to figure it out. She ended up having a polyp! They removed it and she is so much better now! Everyone there was understanding with our situation. It's just my son and I and we didn't want anything to happen to her during the surgery. We are so grateful to have a safe place to take her when she needs help. Thank you North Wake Animal Hospital. Our 3 person family is safe and whole again.

Just wanted to take the time to send a huge thank you to all of the staff at North Wake Animal Hospital. Last week we experienced the loss of our dog Coraline and at the last minute North Wake Animal Hospital was there to help during our time of need. They made this hard transition very comfortable and offered exceptional service with the handling of our late dog. They sent us a sympathy card, and return her ashes within 1 week. The staff is full is experienced animal lovers who offer great care! Thank you so much for being there for us!!

Thankful for Dr. Wendelken and staff at NWAH! My 5 year old lab had been very sick and not responding to the treatment by our vet. We decided to get a second opinion and it proved to be the right choice. They saw him on short notice with no records in hand. Dr. Wendelken thoroughly explained options and cost based on the lab results. Not having an inconclusive diagnosis, he treated him with what he thought was best. Great first experience with this practice. We will be moving our dogs’ care to NWAH. The staff is so friendly and truly care for the pets and owners!

Our 8 yr old cat was treated recently and we had a good experience. The cat has a “spicy” personality and the staff knows the best way to treat her to get the best outcome. I can wholeheartedly recommend the practice.

Really enjoyed the staff and doctor at our recent visit. We had a sick cat and everyone was so nice and understanding. This was a first visit and we are definitely going to be coming back yearly for our check ups.

My litter of 9 puppies who were starting to have loose stool. My vet was too busy to see me, so I called North Wake. They were able to work me in within 30 min, were very compassionate and provided great guidance. I highly recommend them!

Our two dogs have experienced great care at North Wake. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. You can often get a same day appointment. The vets call to follow up with you which I appreciate. We are moving farther away but will still continue to bring our dogs here because of the stellar care they receive.

Dr. Fischlein and the entire staff is the most amazing and compassionate team I have ever seen. They truly care about their patients and pet owners, customer service oriented, knowledgeable and prices are very competitive.

The staff is very sweet and at tentative. Dr. Fischlein shows true care for our dog and helped us dearly when we had to figure out what was wrong with her leg (she is a rescue and had a funky walk). We went to another vet originally that said she might need surgery but when we decided to get a second opinion, she was immediately scheduled for a surgery and it was explained to us the urgency. They also caught a dislocated hip which the first vet didn’t!!! Truly wonderful people. Never had a bad experience with Dr. Taylor either! The prices are also very reasonable compared to the other ones in the area.

I arrived for my appointment early, but the staff took us in right away because my dog was in pain. I really like this practice because they are so compassionate. The vet there is awesome! I highly recommend North Wake Animal Hospital; they are my first choice for my pets care in this area.

My poor loki was choking and the staff took him right in and made sure loki was going to be ok. I appreciate them so much they even called to check in on him after thank you guys I wish I lived near by because you guys would of definitely been loki vet to go to for everything but when I do visit my sister in law this is the facility that I will definitely be using for Loki thank you everyone. They are awesome!!!

What an amazing facility and vet (dr.f)! We have heard great things about this vet from our groomers and had to check out the facility for ourselves. Dr.F is very thorough in her examinations and it seems she truly cares about her clients as pets. Puppy approved! I feel confident to make the switch to this new vet after our first visit!

I’ve been going to this vet for years for all of our dogs and they have been consistently wonderful! They really care for the animals and their families and I couldn’t any be happier with the level of treatment, care, and love they have given us and our pets❤

My wife and I have had 3 dogs during our married life. 2 lived to 15 and current dog is 10. We’ve had several different vets over the past 40 years. N Wake Animal Hospital is by far the best. Dr Amy is off the charts! We can’t give a higher recommendation other than she and the team are A1, world class, and just really kind and gentle. If you’re looking for the best care for your pets, look no further!

A special thank you to the North Wake team. They stayed late and waited, I called, to look at my kitty. Sadly, there was nothing they could do and he headed towards the rainbow bridge surrounded by people made him feel at ease. The tech joined the family with tears as we said goodbye for the last time. They care about the whole family!

This is a practice that truly puts the animal first and not PROFITS. They truly care about peoples pets. I am lucky in that my pets don't need a lot of care, but when they do, this is where they go and will always go. My cat had an abscess and another vet told me they don't do sedation on Saturdays, assuming that was needed. I knew what needed to be done and sedation was not needed. Got my WillieWay in here and one quick poke and he was DONE. Good ol timey Vet care without added UNNECESSARY expenses

We took our dog here after she had her first seizure, on a Saturday. Dr Taylor was super understanding and calming. He gave our girl time to get used to him and made sure not to cause any more trauma. He was patient with my family too, as we were all concerned. It was the best vet visit we've ever had, hands down.
