Best meal I’ve had in a while. Rib eye was amazing and even better than what I’ve had home in nyc. Great prices. The honey chipotle shrimp was amazing. Will be back

I need to update my original review, which I keep below for comparison.

Wow this dinner was good. We had the mussel appetizer (apparently not on the menu), these were cooked with garlic diced tomatoes and seasoning. Fantastic.

The scallop from the grill with a pineapple garnish was really good too. Had it with the Okra, which was very lightly breaded and very fresh.

The raw oysters were much better than the steamed. Flavor was light and the shells still had a bit of crusties, but still a good treat.

The steak, brought out perfectly rare to my liking, has such a good butter pepper flavor and paired with the broccoli was a perfect meal.

Staff again were very good. This was a perfect dinner. Thank you to the team here for recommending these dishes.

Going against the common opinion here, we were quite disappointed in the seafood quality. The half peck were small and dry from over steaming, the shrimp in the seafood chowder were mushy, the grilled shrimp on the salad were over cooked to almost rubbery. Yes, hush puppies were good. I do want try again, will go for the scallops, and salmon next time which seem like sure hits here.

The atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately the food didn’t cut it for our dinner date this time.

Listen, Im still sitting here finishing dinner as I write this. The most important thing is likely unexpected. But the bread pudding, this is insanely good. Like, I will rave about this till my dying day. But in follow up, the crab cake, the mac n cheese, the crab dip, the hush puppies? Its like love in food form. Please, take a trip and enjoy everything Shuckers has to offer. Food, drinks, and dessert!

We had not been to Shuckers since before the pandemic. We called in a takeout order for crab cakes and scallops. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the crab cakes and said they were excellent. My scallops were also awesome. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.

We visited for the first time this evening and it was every bit of amazing, from our waitress to manager to food! We will definitely be back. Great customer service and tasty seafood!

Went for Happy Hour and got my seafood fix everything was great oysters were a little small but that's the gamble.... 😂 The mussels in the tomato basil wine sauce was delicious. 😋 my friend got the shrimp cocktail, buffalo bites and shrimp tacos and enjoyed them too. We will be back.

A very popular place to dine in, judging by how crowded the restaurant was.
We had a wonderful meal there. Each are something different from the other. The steak, the burgers, sushi and the fried salmon. All dishes were perfectly cooked. Generous servings too.

I want to start off by saying that although we had a long wait to be seated it was well worth it. My wife, son and I enjoyed every minute of our experience. Our hostess Tori and Emily ensured that we were seated promptly and were extremely courteous, friendly and professional. Our server Jay was top notch and made our evening fun and enjoyable. Our appetizers the stuffed mushrooms and chargrilled oysters were very delicious and very well seasoned. The main courses were all served nice and hot and you could taste the freshness of the sea food. My wife and I had the stuffed and chargrilled Mahi. My son enjoyed his chicken and shrimp pasta with the Alfredo sauce. We topped off our meal by splitting the bread pudding. I can say for a fact that is the best bread pudding I’ve ever enjoyed. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I met one of my old friends that I had not seen for years to catch up on our lives. As your first walk in you are greeted with friendly smiling faces and directly taken to your seat. Our server had the best personality and was very attentive. I ordered the honey Chipotle shrimp wrap and it was awesome. You tasted everything the shrimp the Chipotle sauce and the actual spinach tortilla. The fries were amazing they weren't hard, they weren't soggy they were just right and had a very flavorful taste.

Love this place!!! Went twice just because I didn't get the to try the amazing shrimp and grits. The size portions are worth the price! My favorite appetizer is the Chipotle shrimp which you could have as an entrée!! Can get on a wait list if you want to get seated sooner.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of dining here for the first time this evening. The food, atmosphere, and customer service was fantastic. We were testing it out before having a large family event here and we left beyond impressed. Very attentive staff, they even loaned us an umbrella due to it pouring rain! Looking forward to sharing this spot with our family. Ben the manager is fantastic and our server (so sorry I'm terrible with names!) offered great recommendations and A+ service. Thanks Shuckers team for such a wonderful experience!

We had an amazing dinner and a wonderful time tonight. We had family come from CA a total of 9 people. Emma was our fantastic server and was able to keep up with our jokes, fun and us all around. Amy the owner came and checked on us and was also fantastic with her hospitality. We thank you all for making it a wonderful experience.

Eight of us dined for my husband’s birthday. Food was excellent as usual and we were well taken care of.

Items of note: the wasabi encrusted ahi is magnificent. Get it rare and it will melt in your mouth. The key lime pie is also always a great treat. Cocktails are handcrafted and most are reasonably priced. Catch the watermelon martini if it’s still available when you visit. It’s not too sweet like most suit drinks.

Oh my…it was absolutely amazing coming here after all these years and still receiving the same warm welcome, top quality service and food I grew to love so many years ago! If you’re a seafood lover and you find yourself in Wake Forest North Carolina, during any season, THIS IS THE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT OF CHOICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you bring your family and you can all be the judge.

I got the big SOB!!! Oh my crab legs, mussels, sausage shrimp. It was delicious and huge couldn't finish it all. The hamburgers are really good here too. Excellent outside seating and good service. I will be back.

I've been here several times and the food is always amazing! The service was great, and we had absolutely no complaints! It's definitely worth the 25-minute drive to get here.

We love this place, we order the Jack Daniel sauce salmon and another dish. But this time we invited our couples' friends after church to eat out with us here. We enjoyed the food, service, and our servers, we're amazing.

This is a five-star wow wow. Love the food lmg the oysters are out of this world. The service is excellent. Been coming here for the last 20 years. Highly recommend to all.

My first experience with my hubby was pretty good!
We went for lunch with our 3-year-old son, and they had a great selection on the kids' menu with crayons to color, which is great.
We decided to do appetizers only and ordered chicken wings, chicken salad, stuffed mushrooms, and calamari along with our drinks. The food was really good, although I wouldn't order the stuffed mushrooms again because the taste was to bland for us. Everything else was great! Our server was amazing and on tip of things. Other employees also greeted us with pleasure. It is definitely a great date night setting with low lighting too
