Grace Baptist Church

I have been a member of GBC since 2015 and have known the elders, staff, and members to be lovers of Jesus, His people, and His word. In a world full of self-interested and uncaring people, the saints of GBC stand out regularly as selfless, caring, kind, and dedicated to the Lord Jesus in a way that is incredibly difficult to find and clear evidence of His grace in their lives and His Spirit at work.

I have been a member of Grace Baptist for almost two years. I moved to the area a few years ago and was grateful to join such a warm, loving and most of all, healthy Bible-teaching church. Although I don’t usually leave reviews of anything, it is a joy to recommend this church.
Our staff could not work harder at serving and teaching God’s word.
For me, this is a strong, good, loving small church. We try to love each other as Jesus would. We study the word and have times to grow in grace. Come see for yourself and we would love to grow in Christ together.

Grace Baptist in Wake Forest has been a church home to my family for the past 7 years. They have showed incredible love to my family and I, and we have been fed by the Word of God each week—book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. The congregation sings rich hymns and songs from their hearts to the Lord. May God continue to bless this faithful, loving church.

My wife and I have been members of GBC for more than 17 years, and during that time we've been privileged to know many of the most genuine and faithful Christians we've ever met, some of whom are still members with us, some of whom have gone out to serve the Lord as pastors, missionaries, and faithful church members where the Lord has relocated them, and some of whom have gone on to their heavenly reward. The church is committed to studying the Bible seriously, as we dig in to the message of each passage and how it points us to the gospel of Jesus. We also aim to make membership meaningful, to encourage members to use their gifts in service, and to help each other to follow Jesus well in our small groups ministry. We're a part of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Pillar Network. It's a joy to gather with these fellow saints each week. May God give every Christian such a church family.

My husband and I have attended Grace Baptist for 6 months after 2 years of searching for a church. We had had painful, past experiences with abusive leaders so our radar was strong for that type of behavior. In addition, I work with women who have been in abusive relationships and marriages. We met with the elders to ask them about their stance regarding these situations. Their answers and godly attitudes more than met my hopes and expectations. My husband and I respect and honor our staff for standing up for abuse victims, as it has come at a cost. Therefore, it deeply grieves us that someone would slander them in this regard. This church is full of loving, kind people who are seeking to walk in a manner worthy of the calling of Christ. May we continue to do so.

We love GBC's dedication to the preaching of God's word and Gospel-centered teaching. The elders and congregation are godly and loving. Our family has been blessed many times over by this body of believers!

Grace Baptist gave me a solid foundation of the word of God that sustains me to this day. The people are friendly and transparent. The leadership is always available. I am a healthy Christian because of GBC. They walk the talk. They are a reflection of how Christian families should act. Though it is a small church it trains pastors, missionaries and counselors to find their purpose in the world. I have been greatly helped by the leadership to be an active member of my community.
