These folks should always get 5 star ratings. They have replaced window screen after grasshoppers ate huge holes, rewired lamps, plus so much more and provided great information and exceptional, professional customer service. Such a gift to have such a knowledgeable full service hardware store nearby and better than large box stores. They are dedicated to community.

Wonderful little store. Supremely helpful. I bought a Traeger in 2019 which has been terrific. (If you buy a Traeger definitely take advantage of their free delivery & setup service- it was outstanding!!) I was in the store this past weekend (2/3/24). The team always recognizes us and even gave us some tips for smoking something on the Traeger. BTW, the WiFi on the Traeger is such a nice & really helpful feature 🙂

Wonderful old fashion type hardware store in the historical downtown of Wake forest. Outside, you'll find beautiful healthy plants to adorn your home and gardens. Inside you'll find lots of interesting things and a friendly owner and employees ready to serve you! I highly recommend you pay them a visit! You'll be so glad you did.

After many years of throwing out junky grills, I decided to get something of quality. I had seen grills in B and H Hardware after just strolling by and decided to go in. The help I received was over the top! I decided on a Weber Spirit 300, which includes a side burner that was a must have for me. I was so thrilled when it came today! Steaks were cooked to pure perfection. These gentlemen will be my new “go to” guys for all my future needs. You just don’t get that caring and helpful service like theirs anymore. I most heartily recommend this store!

The grill was a substantial investment to us and we wanted to make sure we were making an informed decision. These folks spent the time with no pressure. Knowledge of the product was absolutely stellar.

These guys are outstanding. I recently had five chainsaw chains sharpened and they had them done in three hours - I have had to wait over a week at one of their competitors. Been shopping at B&W since I moved to Wake Forest in 1998. I have bought every type of rub/spice the have, Duke Cannon products, 2 Traeger Wood Pellet Grills, Traeger Grill accessories, a cooler, Orca cups, dog toys, nails and screws. I think I am qualified to give them a 5 star review! I find what I need online and if they don't have it, they will order it and it usually arrives in a couple of days at the most. Shop small and shop local so you can support a local family owned business!

Very classic community hardware store with a very varied inventory. Excellent for grilling supplies and equipment. Very personal and friendly service. In business since 1949 and still growing strong. They probably have whatever you need.

I went to B & W this weekend with my husband to look at grills. Right away we were greeted and asked if we needed help. We explained to them what we had in mind and they steered us to the perfect Traeger model. Kirk took the time to answer both of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the products. He knew all of the technical stuff my husband wanted to know and was able to explain the benefits between the different models for me. There was no pressure to buy, but when we did decide to purchase it that day, B & W was able to deliver it within the hour! We were shown how to start the grill and given a quick tutorial on all things Traeger. We will definitely be buying all of our accessories with them!

They have been in town forever. Don't let this small storefront fool you. They have tons of stuff inside.

Always great service. However this evening our office was struck by lightening causing a large hole in the roof. Kirk realized I was in desperate need of help due to the nasty storm approaching and came back to the office and did all he could to fix the issue then sent me the name of a roofer who came right out and repaired the roof. Amazing! Truly shows why everyone should support local businesses.

These folks are amazing! In particular, I want to thank Joe for replacing the screens on my wooden porch door! Didn’t know if it could be done because the door is nearly 20 years old Joe was able to do and got it back to me right away! Thank you so much!!
