Decent service our waiter seemed over booked. Not his fault I guess. Food was good I got the seafood platter and grouper and shrimp. It was pricey for the portions but hey it's a tourist spot. Not ad over all just prepare to pay for not huge portions.

The food was amazing! The crab dip was so good! Every dish we ordered was perfection. Jasmine took very good of our family! We will be back! Brittany the manager even stopped by to say hello. We love Coconut Joes at Folly Beach. 💯🌟💯

Had my first experience at coconut joes in Folly! It was a dog brunch so we brought our dog! They gave her treats and a toy, she loved it. Also an arcade area for kids. Our server was Rene and he was helpful, friendly and gave knowledge on their rewards program, which we of course joined. Highly recommend the shakes! Loaded hash browns were excellent as well as the coconut shrimp! A great addition to the island.

Ali and Larry are the best! They welcomed us at the door. They started back up the grill for my birthday eve and the grouper bites were OMG Good! The basket had a lot of fish, we are still eating.

Great new spot to enjoy while you are at Folly Beach, very new staff but off to a great start. I’ve seen some reviews on the chip spice being too hot, it was zesty but if you do not like spice ask for plain chips. The food was great, rooftop seating for us tonight, and cold beer. Again July 2023 and the doors just opened so give Coconut Joe’s a shot, let the staff warm up to the hustle. Sit back and enjoy. Ohhhh, and they have an arcade if you find yourself “especially with kids” waiting for a table.

Good: All the bartenders are fantastic—excellent blends of quirkiness and humor to accompany their bar skills and just-right levels of professionalism. The environment is clandestinely encouraging…we have always met new friends here.

Not-so-good: For Charleston, each dish we have consumed has been slightly short in both flavor and satiation. The upstairs arcade is expensive but adequate.

Had a wonderful lunch with my son and his friend at Coconut Joes’s on Folly today. The food was great (kids loved the fried shrimp and burgers - and I love the mahi salad!)

The kids loved the arcade room upstairs (perfect spot to hang out on a hot summer day.)

Will definitely be back soon - our server Shelby was amazing, too!

The food was great. We had chicken tenders and a couple of shrimp po boys. The pickles were pretty good. The drinks were incredible. Our server was amazing. Really great guy. Amazing place to eat!

This place is wonderful! Love the open atmosphere. Food and drinks are great! Service was great as well.

Our group of four was seated promptly in the cool patio. The food was amazing. The grilled grouper and shrimp was so flavorful and the sides were great too. The waitress recommended the pina colada’s and though different, they were the best I’ve ever tasted. Not too sweet and very natural tasting. Our server was fantastic!

I took my wife to this restaurant after a nice walk on the beach for her birthday 🎈 I was amazed by the service and the food. I have eaten a lot of burgers around the area an the one I have last night was in the top 3. My wife has the crab 🦀 cakes and the green beans which were absolutely delicious. Id give more stars⭐ if I could . The waitress was top notch, will definitely be back when on Folly Beach ⛱

We had a delicious lunch....I got the smothered chicken with pineapple and coconut, cheese and BBQ sauce! Oh my what a divine dish! Staff was great! Ocean breeze blowing in, one couldn't ask for anything better.

Absolutely outstanding fish. The grouper bites, fried shrimp, and green beans were simply delicious. The shrimp was perfectly crispy and crunchy, and the fish was super tender.

Listen y'all, you go here and ask to be seated in SCOTTY WITH A T's table!!!! He was absolutely amazing! Such good service! Easy reservations were made and we were taken to our seat immediately! We came for my soon to be sister in laws bachelorette trip and had dinner here, and he even got the first shot on her, which was so sweet and generous of him! But regardless, he was the best waiter we've had!!!!!!

Josh was an amazing server!! He was very attentive and made everyone feel welcome. Best service I’ve had in a long time!

CeCe was great as our server. I have significant food allergies/restrictions and she coordinated with the kitchen to make sure they were able to accommodate me. Pleasant person and laid back vibe here.

Loved this place! Stayed in Folly all week for a wedding! Coconut Joes was our go to place! We enjoyed the atmosphere the most! The bartender (who just started) was amazing! Especially for starting and was very welcoming and made delicious drinks! Scotty was our server for the last night and he was amazing! Very funny and social person and made us laugh every time he checked on us! Would definitely come here again! P.S. Karaoke Night was a blast!

Honestly, I was with friends and we thought we heard Billy Joel singing as we were passing by. He has been known to pop up here and there so we took a chance went in and found it wasn’t him, but a great guitar player with an unbelievable voice! He turned our evening around! We ended up staying eating and singing along to some great tunes! What a night! Please post when he is coming back so we can bring more friends to enjoy! His name is Jimmy Shaka, and I am a new fan of his and your great joint!

Larry and Kelly were absolutely amazing!!! So responsive and our drinks were the best we had on the beach. Definitely coming back!!

We had a phenomenal experience at Coconut Joe's on Folly Beach. Top notch food, atmosphere, and staff. From the moment we stopped in to make a reservation for a party of 18 and they were so fun, upbeat, and accomodating. We had an amazing experience all around the day of the event. The staff really worked well together with setting up, offering assistance any time we needed it. They are truly a wonderful addition to Folly Beach. Definitely a lifetime customer!
