My 4 year old daughter and I had a great experience! We booked two appointments together so we could have our hair done at the same time and it was perfect.
Xavier was extremely patient with her and pulled off a perfect cut even with her wiggles.
Lauren did mine and factored all my hair concerns into my hair cut to make my hair look the best possible.
14/10 experience, we’ll be back!

In town for a wedding and needed a fresh cut and shave to look my absolute best. We had such a great experience! My 9-year-old wanted to go from long hair to a very short bob. It was her first-ever salon visit and she loved it! Lauren is kind, has great skills, and gave my daughter a fantastic cut. Even after washing and air drying, the cut still looks exactly like my daughter wanted.

Lauren did my updo for a wedding that I attended. She also did my daughter’s hair - she was a flower girl. We were out of town so I had to rely on online reviews when looking for a stylist. I feel very lucky to find this salon. The reservation was easy. I received a few reminders of the appointment- very helpful. Lauren was super nice and personable. She made sure I was comfortable, offered me a drink. The salon was quiet and with easy access. Lauren did a fantastic job on my and my daughter hair. I received multiple compliments on how good our hair looked. I was extremely satisfied and recommend this salon to anyone who wants to look great for any occasion. Fantastic experience! Thank you 🥰

Xavier and Lauren are amazing. I stopped by as a walk in and Lauren was able to accommodate me. I was really happy considering I wanted to try this spot for my haircut. Xavier is great and I was super happy with my cut. If you get a chance to try getting your haircut here, don’t pass it up.

Xavier is a great mix of men’s barber and stylist. Hard to find someone that understands medium-longer men’s hair cuts but Xavier absolutely does. I highly recommend

I walk in and immediately my mood feels better, especially after owner offers me a local crafted beer. I wasn’t sure how to describe the haircut I was after, but Xavier was very attentive and understood exactly what I was trying to describe - perfect haircut. Xavier is a phenomenal barber! Ever since we met a little over a year ago, I have gone to no-one else besides him when I need a quality cut. The welcoming experience upon arrival, the true care for the result of the cut/your happiness and everything that goes into it are all a joy to be apart of. I’m sad that he moved away from where I live, but very excited to know that he will be providing the best cuts possible to the lucky people of Downtown Charleston!!! Oh, and side note, his wife Lauren is pretty awesome and ready to provide you with incredible service as well!!! Talk about a dynamic duo!!! Definitely recommend going to this shop for all of your hair needs.

Both Lauren and Xavier are extremely talented. Lauren completely transformed my hair into a beautiful work of art while Xavier gave my boyfriend the best haircut of his entire life. Xavier always provides a top quality old school barbering experience! Since he and his wife Lauren opened Olliver Lux Hair Society everything has been elevated again!!! I love that my wife and I can both get our hair done in an environment that is warm and welcoming to everyone! Men care about their hair too and Xavier’s services lean into that. Hot towel, straight razor shaves. Everything from the moment you walk in to the finishing touches is first class!

I booked an updo with Lauren this weekend for a wedding and couldn’t have been happier I did! Not only was the salon (which she designed/decorated) super cute, she also did an amazing job on my hair (added in extensions that I brought from home and did a half-up half-down). Her hair products smelled great and my hair stayed secure and curled all night!
