My daughter started attending this school at just 7 months old, and now, as she approaches 3.5 years old, she has grown to love this place and her teachers deeply. I am consistently amazed by my daughter's growth at primrose. She comes home with new stories, songs, and improved writing and drawing skills. She can even recognize most of the teachers, staff, and leadership team from the staff website, even those who don't directly teach her. Everyone at this school is incredibly kind and warmly welcomes each child whenever they see them.We are deeply grateful for the dedication and care provided by the school's leadership, teachers, and staff over the years.

The staff at Primrose School are personable, attentive, and caring. They provide a safe, creative, and engaging learning environment, and they also capture pictures throughout the day. Alongside the daily curriculum and theme days, the school also hosts splash days and scooter/bike days during the summer months, which are a big hit. I recommend Primrose School.

We enrolled our son in Primrose in 2020, and our satisfaction has only grown since then. Initially, we were hesitant due to it being a new school without many reviews, despite its modern classrooms and equipment. The pandemic heightened our focus on cleanliness and maintenance, and Primrose stood out in this regard.

Now, we're thrilled with our decision. The school boasts a team of caring, helpful, and insightful early educators. Everyone demonstrates kindness and patience, contributing to our son's significant progress. He has transformed from a shy, speechless 1-year-old into an outgoing, talkative 3-year-old.

We want to express our gratitude for the teachers' efforts, especially in addressing conflicts among young kids. We were concerned about injuries resulting from disputes, as our son struggled with sharing. Due to the pandemic, he hadn't interacted with other kids before attending Primrose. The teachers consistently emphasized essential values to the children, and we've witnessed a remarkable change in our son. He has learned to share and be gentle with others, and we couldn't be happier with his development.

If you have a young kid in early stage, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Primrose to you.

Our son has been attending Primrose for about 2 years, and we have had a fantastic experience. The teachers at Primrose genuinely care for their students, and the administration is very supportive of both parents and teachers. The curriculum is designed to allow our child to flourish in his own unique way while also encouraging him to learn new things. Despite the current challenges in the teaching landscape, Primrose has been able to attract and retain teachers and staff who treat us like family and have our son's best interests at heart. This gives us peace of mind when dropping him off each day, knowing that he is surrounded by wonderful people who are helping us raise a child who is kind, brave, empathetic, and happy. Thank you Primrose for everything! We are beyond grateful!

We highly recommend Primrose School of West Bellevue (PSWB)! We were looking for a place that provided a safe, nurturing environment while also focusing on child development and learning. We 100% found all of this and so much more at PSWB! We have been involved with PSWB for over five years and have two children in their program now. We see the growth and development in our children constantly—each time they move to the next classroom, we like to look back on the previous year and it is so amazing to see how much they have grown. Sometimes we can even see this growth from week to week! We love that each new classroom builds upon the skills they have learned in the previous classroom, and challenges them academically, while also fostering each child’s individuality and unique skillset. Primrose School of West Bellevue has continued to exceed our expectations. The staff and leadership team are kind, knowledgeable, supportive and helpful, and provide such a positive environment for our two children. Even teachers who have not had our children in their classroom all take the time to chat with us and learn our kids’ names and always have a smile on their face. Though it is hard being away from our children each day, knowing they are in such a great environment, and not having to worry about them while at work makes such a big difference. Not only do we love PSWB, our children do as well!

We relocated from Vancouver, Canada, and enrolling our daughter at Primrose last summer. It was one of the best decisions we made during this transition. One of the standout aspects of Primrose is its commitment to early childhood education. Our daughter not only had a fantastic time with her newfound friends but also acquired valuable skills that have prepared her for kindergarten.
Primrose has truly become a second family to us, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to other families seeking a nurturing and enriching daycare experience.

I am a former lead teacher from primrose of west bellevue, and my experience here was amazing. All the staff is very welcoming and warming. I made so life long friends from this school! All the teachers are so loving and caring about their students, they spend so much time into lesson planning and making the lessons fun for their students.
Leadership is so great at communicating & very helpful at problem solving concerns.
Three years later as a former teacher, I am still in contact with leadership and they always welcome me back during my free time with open arms and let me support the school. I am always happy to go back!

I am writing this review from the perspective of a teacher who has worked at Primrose School for the four years it has been opened. I have worked at several schools and I can say without a doubt that Primrose School of West Bellevue is the best. One reason is the leadership team. They care for every teacher on both a professional and personal level. They are in the classrooms supporting the children and teachers. Teachers also support each other and we are like a family. There are challenges as there are in any job, but anytime I have had issues in my classroom my co-teachers and the leadership team have been there to support me. The leadership team has an open door policy and I have always been able to communicate freely my needs as a teacher and have always felt supported. Teaching is not a profession that one should go in for the money, but I feel that I am paid fairly. I am allowed to communicate with the parents in my class and do this on a daily basis for quick questions. When parents need more information leadership will set up a time for me to have a conference with the parents so we can collaborate. I teach the Pre K class, and I use the Primrose curriculum as a blueprint while enhancing learning experiences for each child. There are days that are challenging but I can say without a doubt I love where I work, the team that I work with and the children and families.

My child has been attending Primrose School of West Bellevue for over two years now. We started here during the midst of the pandemic. We had started at another well-known chain and changed schools. The biggest reason was poor communication and poor leadership. Primrose WB was completely the opposite. The leadership team is very attentive and communicative. Shannon, the owner, is always present and clearly invested in the wellbeing of the children. I was blown away by her attention to detail and how she handles various situations that may arise at daycare. My family felt a huge relief in knowing our child is in good hands. We will be returning for our younger one as well! We’ve loved all our teachers here but her current teacher in particular, Ms. Laird, is a gem of a teacher who is clearly passionate about her job in caring for our children! Our child is well prepared for Kindergarten in the fall thanks to our teachers and this school!

Our child’s experience at the Primrose School of West Bellevue has been very positive. Shannon Peterson, the owner, is extremely dedicated, thoughtful, and professional. It is clear that the teachers enjoy what they do – they are all so caring and nurturing. The communication from the administrators and teachers has been excellent, and we really enjoy receiving photos and updates in the Procare app during the day.

Our daughter started at Primrose of West Bellevue (PSWB) as a 4 month old and attended until she was nearly three. Our recent departure was only due to us moving out of state.

PSWB is a wonderful community of dedicated and friendly staff and administration. We started attending in January 2021 in the midst of the pandemic - a terrifying time for any parent. Throughout the worst of the pandemic, the school acted in the best interest of the children and the staff to keep everyone safe and healthy with clear communication and transparency as well as minimal disruption to their care and education.

Our daughter thrived during her time at PSWB. She is outgoing, friendly, caring, and bold. The principles taught at Primrose, as well as the engaged and supportive staff, foster an environment where kids develop their social skills and educational foundation. We are so grateful to Primrose. Highly recommend!

We chose PSWB for our children because the moment we first walked in the door, we knew this was the right fit for our family. The sense of community we experienced from the very first day was what some spend years looking for. Every conversation from our very first phone call, through the end of our first tour of the school was filled with genuine kindness, enthusiasm and sincerity. The school itself is clean (incredibly well-maintained by the staff, which does not go unnoticed), and extremely secure.

PSWB challenges our children on so many levels. The rate at which our children are developing in their current environment has far surpassed our expectations. Academically, a solid foundation has been established for each of our children, and they are each continuing to build upon it daily, it's remarkable. Socially and emotionally, they are continuously learning by interacting with and building relationships with their peers as well as with staff members/teachers. The amount of confidence and independence we saw developing quickly after each of our children had started at PSWB is something you hope for as a parent, these characteristics continue to flourish to this day. We are blown away with seeing how much growth is consistently happening on a daily basis with all of our children as they‘ve gone through this program, and how at home they feel being at this school. The environment fosters development on so many different levels and has helped our children create a foundation to continue building upon as they enter elementary school.

Communication is extremely important to our family, and we greatly appreciate being able to collaborate with and share open communication with the PSWB teachers and Leadership team about the development of our children and our experiences within the program. We have regular discussions with Leadership and our children’s teachers where we are encouraged to share both positive and negative experiences, which is quite important to us and appreciated. We feel strongly that welcoming and accepting feedback (whether it be from families or staff) goes a long way in creating a community where its members feel valued, appreciated, and welcome. As parents, we feel very supported by the Leadership team and the entire staff, as we collaborate to provide our children with the best early learning experience we can.

One of the things we love most about this school is the sense of camaraderie, and how welcoming every single staff member was from the moment you walk through the door. To this day, we have never walked down a hallway without the staff member on the other side waving hello or greeting our family. It speaks volumes for a community of this size when the staff members/teachers know and refer to every student and family member by name; not only that, but they also go out of their way to genuinely connect with each student and make them feel welcome and excited to be there every single day. It feels like one big family.

We are grateful for this community we’ve been a part of for the past two years, and look forward to continuing to watch our children thrive here.

We have two children that attend Primrose School of West Bellevue. We are 'that' couple that has sent their children to myriad area daycares and schools.
I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Shannon and Erik that they've created this wonderful place for our children. The difference in care is night and day; apples to oranges. It is not simply a daycare or care facility; it truly is a school, and the children delight in it! Everything is a massive improvement, from learning and cognition to orderliness and cleanliness.
The kids have actually been challenged in Primrose’s curriculum, and they are enjoying every minute of it! They are so incredibly fond of their teachers. Even our 12 month old- he hadn’t previously had the opportunity to paint or draw, he wasn’t being asked about objects or how to do things or have sensory activity time, or even have time outside! (There’s an infant playground area!) Our 3 year old is currently making the transition from Preschool Pathways to Preschool, we thought this would be a difficult change for her; but she is loving it! They are doing a wonderful job with measured steps to help her transition; and the additional curriculum that comes with the age progression is keeping her excited to learn reading, writing, math and science; the learning stations are amazing!
