Jack's is a small cozy diner. We've been going here for 20+ years. Very attentive server, with good food. I'm picky about my coffee, (don't like Starbucks), they have all you can drink good ole fashioned hot, diner coffee with half and hal you can add yourself. Hash browns were really good and crispy this time. I had a ham and cheese omelette, ham wasn't too salty adequate amount of cheddar cheese and fluffy eggs. My vegetarian daughter had a waffle and scrambled eggs that came with bacon (if you don't want your bacon to touch your other food on your plate, ask them put it on a separate plate). All in all a great visit spending time with my daughter.

We had breakfast here, it’s a very tight scene but the host makes you very comfortable. They have big portions that come out hot and quick. Very satisfied from our experience

Best Resteraunt within 5 miles of Normandy Park and Des Moines .. Food, service and price are second to none .. if u are hungry and live close by and are looking 4 a Go 2 Diner .. this is THE PLACE .. if there is better, let me know ?? .. if you are going 2 or from Seattle Tacoma International Airport and need a place 2 grab a quick bite this place is #1

Jack's is just down the hill from us literally 5 minutes away, we're from 808 so we like these family owned type restaurants! Great food, friendly staff cozy hole in the wall diner, our go to for breakfast 😋👍🤙

The perfect country fried steak! Everything was prepared to order and with a smile. Make sure to use your GPS because this awesome restaurant is in a strip mall and easy to miss.

Good stuff... will be returning again and again. Reminded me of the old school cafes I went to in my home town in the 70's... french dip was very delicious. A friend had the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast plate and he absolutely destroyed it short of licking the plate!

The couple that run this place have a great business! The food is wonderful, and the service is prompt. We love it! ❤

I'm a breakfast 24/7 and local "dive" person and Jack's fit the bill to a tee! One test is properly cooked eggs over medium, they hit a home run. Growing up in Texas - country fried steak also another test - again, did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and I'm honestly looking forward to returning again and again.

An awesome spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Their chicken fried steak and gravy is the best around.

There's a genuine local diner feel inside, the portions were very generous, and the scramble I had was phenomenal. I wasn't sure what to expect on my first visit, but it's very likely to become my new favorite local diner.

The prices were great, especially considering the size of the portions, the folks working were great, and I can't wait to go back for breakfast again.

I love little mom and pop restaurants over the chain restaurants. This was my first time here and I was truly impressed. I had the eggs and chicken fried steak. It came with toast and hash browns. Everything was hot when it was brought to the table and it was very good and filling. Service was spot on and coffee was constantly refilled. The price was extremely reasonable for 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees. I will definitely be back!!

Found this place via Maps. The pictures looked really hearty and home cooked and, well really good. I tried it out for the first time today. Upon entering I was greeted with great energy from the Lady behind the counter. As well as the gentleman in the kitchen cooking. I ordered Meat Lover Skillet with over easy eggs and French toast. Both scrumptious. I completely devoured my skillet and had a French toast. I'm so full, I have 3 more slices of French toast that I will eat later. Overall, great customer service, very nice people, and really good home cooked foods. I swear I got more bang for my buck here than IHOPS.

Food with Super Fresh and cooked well. Wish that they were open on on the weekends.
They also have an excellent rating. I could see why everything seems to be super clean. The interior is a little bit small but comfy and you don't feel like your crowded in.

My husband and I went to Jacks country restaurant for the first time and we really enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very friendly and we really liked the way that her and the cook knew everyone that came in by name. This place will definitely become a regular place for us to eat.
