When I joined Nexion just under a year ago I had no experience in the industry. I left corporate America over 10 years ago and was really nervous about starting my ‘second act’. From the minute I signed up with Nexion I’ve been blown away by the resources, training and support they provide. I joined the NEXstart Lite program which gave me access to extremely thorough training in Nexion University, which included online, self-paced modules on setting up your business, industry basics and Nexion-specific programs. What really gave me the confidence that I could succeed in this business was Essentials, the 5-day, live training. Even though I took the training Virtually, I left at the end of the week feeling like I had colleagues and I wasn’t doing this alone! I’ve also taken advantage of the invaluable bi-weekly, small group coaching sessions with Coach Martin. The Member Services team has always been prompt and friendly anytime I’ve needed to contact them, whether through email or by phone. Overall, I know I made the right choice in joining the Nexion family!

I been in travel for 25 yrs, working at a Global TMC, decided to branch out on my own a few months ago,I interviewed a bunch of host agencies. After speaking with some of the Nexion customer service reps and independent agency owners, I know they would be a great fit. I have found everyone super friendly and you never feel like your being a pest. On the message boards everyone is so helpful and the calendar is filled with Supplier webinars and company updates. I have been in the travel industry for 10 years and with Nexion the whole time. The training and opportunities to experience destinations is top notch. I attend their annual conference every year as well as several smaller trainings throughout the year. They are always excellent and add so much in terms of knowledge and supplier relationships. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a travel agent for over 31 years. Having retired from Satotravel over 10 years ago, I decided to work from home. I was with Avoya Travel and was not impressed with their business model. They gave you leads and they wanted you to pester customers 4-5 times a day. They also took 1/2 commission and I paid a $99 fee every month. After Covid-19, I decided to go with Nexxion after doing online research and talking to them.
Their commission split is 80 % for the agent and representatives are always available and friendly. I love Nexxion!

In the years since becoming Travel Agents we have had a few different hosts. Since joining Nexion in April 2016 we have been so VERY PLEASED. From the initial contact with Karlen Okamura to the most recent boot camp we have learned so much and received top notch support from every dept., Membership Services, Education, Sales, Information Tech, and Operations.

Last month we attended the Boot Camp in Irving Texas and in 3-days we learned more about who, when, why, and how to operate our business and service our clients. Meeting Amy, Lauren, Chris, Robby, 45 fellow Nexion Agents, and several of the preferred suppliers was OUTSTANDING! The hotel where it was held (Sheraton DFW Airport) was a great location, the accommodations, the event support, and food were fantastic.

The 45 agents who attend the boot camp have experience ranging from brand new to 53 years. We not only got the value of sharing experiences and learning from each other, but more importantly we form friendships. Using Nexion Town we form a community group to continue to learn, share, and help one another for many years to come.

The current capabilities with Nexion including Passport Online website, Mailpound eBrochures, Nexion Town (community groups), Web View (the members main page), invoicing, the preferred suppliers, and most of all the feeling of being a part of the team/family.

Jackie Friedman, Nexion President, took time out of her busy schedule and fighting jet lag (returning from Europe the previous night) and answered questions, gave us some helpful tips and explained that Nexion is a TOP SHELF organization.

Even with the tools they have today, Nexion is not settling for status quo, but pursuing even better tools. At their annual conference in Sept 2016 (CoNexion) the new and improved tools will be unveiled.

I’ve been trying to say about the sense of team and family that Nexion offers is unmatched. Our decision to join Nexion was one of the best decisions I have made in operating our travel business. I’ve been with Nexion almost from the beginning. While they have their hick ups from time to time. They are the best host agency out there. They really do not compare to the rest out there. They are stuck with me for as long as I’m in the business and that’s for a long time to come!
