Very interesting art and history area on the outskirts of downtown. We were unable to find reasonable parking for downtown explorations, but this was a wonderful spot with free and close parking.saw a bunny and a couple of squirrels also. Went after a rain and the mud was like clay, definitely recommend good tread on soles or your hiking shoes.

A unique 'Cattle Drive' experience in the heart of downtown Dallas! Marvel at the life size statues of cattle and pose among them for dramatic shots! See the cowboy statues among them heading the cattle where they need to go. Next to the statues is a pioneer cemetery where you can pay respects to some of the early settlers

A must-see truly inspirational place in Dallas. Visiting it at night made the experience even more interesting. A lot of homeless people on the streets around, but they didn’t bother us. We felt in general safe.

Like everything else in Texas, this place is huge. All the bulls are so cool to see and it is just an iconic spot in Dallas. The river wasn’t running when I visited in the winter, but I can only imagine that would make the setup even cooler.

I went there on my first date 25 years ago and it still is an enjoyable walk with my wife if almost 25 years

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the public park with Texan plant life and large bronze sculptures of three cowboys driving longhorn cattle, and I must say it was a remarkable experience. This park seamlessly blends the natural beauty of Texas with its rich cowboy heritage, creating a unique and captivating environment.

Moreover, the park is well-maintained and clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages. It's a great place for a leisurely walk, a family picnic, or simply to sit and appreciate the beauty of this art.

Had a great time here with friends and family while visiting Dallas. Great place to let the kids, ours are middle school aged, to get some energy out while outside in the fresh air. The park has seen better days, could be a little better maintained, but it was clean and by no means in bad shape. Overall a very beautiful park. Alot of people there but by no means crowded because it is big, I'd say almost 10 acres. It really captured what it could be like herding and guiding long horn cattle. Iconic depiction of old Texas. Worth a visit.

Nice park with a lot of sculptures of cattle. You can walk among them and cross a small stream as they do.

The historic Pioneer Plaza is one of the main tourist attractions in Dallas. The Plaza pays tribute to Dallas’ beginnings by celebrating the trails that brought settlers to Dallas. There is a recreation of a bronze cattle drive featuring three cowboys on horses and a herd of 40 Texas Longhorns sheer. This larger-than-life-size sculpture was created by artist Robert Summers of Glen Rose.

The native plants, waterfall, flowing stream, adjacent lawn, and man-made cliffs add to its historical charm. We spent 1-2 hours roaming around and hiking to the cliff. A great place to be with your family and children.

It is a must-visit for history lovers.

The day I was there, parking was a snap. The weather was perfect and the shade trees were awesome. What a wonderful hour or two I had relaxing, walking around and exploring the park and surrounding area. This is History, the good, the bad and the wonderful.

Good park for bringing kids and show them bulls sculpture which looks damn real. It has small ponds with ducks too. Good for taking pictures and also has good view of downtown. Free parking is available on the spot and there is stroller and wheelchair access too.

Don’t skip visiting Pioneer Park if visiting Dallas. It’s pretty neat. The steers are so big and detailed. My favorite part is how the line of them cross the stream. Be careful, the rocks can be slippery. Also continue on the the East to see Pioneer Park Cemetery.

If you are visiting Dallas, this is must have! You will have a good time there and make a cool photo and video. No restroom near by, so keep it in mind. Small parking, but usually enough for all visitors.
