Taqueria El Arquito

I have been coming here for about 6 months and have not been disappointed yet!

Taqueria is located in the gas station in the Albertsons parking lot. Always attracts a new crowd of people and seems to be a happening spot. They offer a variety of tacos, burritos, and tortas to name a few.

Meat is always fresh, salsa is always spicy and bomb! We regularly order the tacos de trompo or torta cubana. Both are delicious and have yet to not enjoy them. Cubana is so flavorful and huge - we never have been able to finish it. Tacos normally come is grilled serranos, pineapple, radish's, and cucumber.

We will continue to support this place as long as there's awesome tacos!

For a restaurant in a gas station this thing goes off. Total hidden treasure tucked away inside the Valero. The other food we ordered isn’t picture bc it was eaten. Lol.
My husband had the Milanese steak Torta.
My daughter “had” the chicken quesadilla. (She’s a baby it was basically our app.) She loved it btw.
I ordered the torta.🤤😩Pork trompo, with avocado, onion, lettuce, mayo and mozzarella cheese. I added beans. That Thang was Thanging.(huge!). Mine was so good. I am mad at myself for not coming here sooner bc we live 5 min. Away.

Today was our first visit based on a recommendation from a friend. We got the 10 tacos de trampoline for about $20. The wait was only about 5 minutes or so. The tacos were so good and the meat was tender and flavorful. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

If you are in the area, this is an excellent place to come by if you’re craving tacos so far, my favorite, or Barbacoa and be fajita. They are also the only ones I have tried but definitely coming back when I’m in the area
Staff is friendly three options of different salsas

Some of the best menudo I've had in a while, and their salsa is really spicy and good. We will definitely be going back to try their tacos and other menu items.

Trompo tacos are so good!! They packaged everything good to go and tacos are steaming hot when we arrive home! Definitely check them out it’s a gem and so close no more going all the way to seminary x some great tacos!

Tamales on Christmas Eve!! Everyone likes there tamales their own way but these tamales are solid! Great masa flavor, good masa to meat ratio, good size, not dry or too oily. No wait time because it’s a hidden gem. My only advice for the taqueria is the trompo meat needs to be consistently charred. We love the trompo tacos but don’t like it when the meat isn’t charred enough.

Great addition to the neighborhood. We didn’t quite have anything like this in the area yet and these guys came in clutch. We had a torta cubana, quesadilla de fajita, and tripas, barbacoa, and carnitas tacos. Everything was VERY good and great portions as well. Flavors were all there nothing extra and they stick to authentic pretty well. Cilantro, onions and grilled onions come on the side. We’ll be back regularly.

This place was great! They actually had Trompo tacos! Talk about fresh! Also tried out the fajita and Pollo tacos and woo. Delicious, flavorful and fresh! I'll attach some pictures. For about $2 a taco - you really can't beat these deliciously fresh tacos. Give them a try!

They are always busy. But they are quick to get your order out.

Daughter made me go over there to get her some Chiros.. food looks amazing I know she loved. Her Chiro.. will definitely be back.

Delicious food. Definitely recommend the Cubana Torta, but you better have an appetite because it's packed. 👍👍

Breakfast tacos are delicious! They were cooked fresh to order, and just the right amount of melted, cheesy mozzarella.

Hands down the best taqueria I’ve been to in Texas! I will always make the drive to come eat here. If I could give it ten stars I would!!!
