Kenmore Camera is a throwback brick and mortar shop where knowledge and service intersect to create a trusted source for all one could ever need in camera and video equipment. The team at Kenmore Camera carries all the major brands and the staff is expert at explaining the benefits and features of everything they carry - and one can experience traditional photo finishing with their lab. I appreciate a shop where they meet you where you are and don’t attempt to sell you more than you’ll really need and use. Kenmore Camera… Best In The West! Literally.

First off I love this place I would rate it 4.5 stars but will round it up to 5.

Pros-
They have everything you need.
Prices are fair.
They have classes where you can learn about photography.
They buy and sell used gear.
Have a fair return policy.
Customer service is great 75% of the time it really depends who you talk to.

Cons-
The customer service is kind of lack luster 25% of the time.

Overall I would recommend this place. I've bought an sl3, xt4, Multiple lenses, backdrops, disposable cameras, I attended one of their classes before, and I will definitely be back next time I upgrade.

On Saturday I went to Kenmore Camera, recommended by a good friend and I was not disappointed. Their staff was very helpful and friendly. Liam helped us at the photo lab to develop our wedding photos. He explained everything clearly about how the scans worked and helped us choose the right option for our photos. I appreciate good customer service and affordable pricing. I will definitely be returning with all my camera and photo needs.

Absolutely fantastic camera store, one of the best in the USA! It's a competitive tie between Kenmore camera and Glazers. I would definitely recommend these two local buisness over any of the out of state camera stores. Although Used Photo Pro is not far behind on my list of reputable places to buy camera gear.

Great store. One of the few great camera stores left. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Absolutely the place to go if you're looking for everything from a point and shoot up to a full frame with a telephoto lens.

Recently bought a mirrorless camera from here. Pleasant experience with calling them regarding stock of an item and shopping in store. It’s pretty much this store or Glazer’s for me. Fortunately Kenmore Camera is nearby.

It's awesome to have a local camera store with knowledgeable staff stocking quality used gear. Got some amazing and reasonably-priced lenses to get me started with my hand-me-down Nikon D40.
They even have the full complement of Polaroid and Instax film! I'm a customer for life.

Went there today to look for a lens for my Canon rebel t5i. I needed to find a lens better then my 75-300m for shooting car racing at the track. The person who helped me showd me used and new versions. I went with the Tamron 100-400mm new. The process was very smooth, and the guy who helped me was super helpful and patient with me. I could get into alot of trouble in this store. Will definitely be back.

My favorite camera store for quite some time. Their selection covers the major brands - new and used. Add a huge selection of accessories - tripods, lighting, bags, printing supplies, V-logging setups, and a bewildering array of widgets, and I think you'd need a significant travel budget to find a more complete store.

(My more recent visits - so far in 2022, as of mid-March have just reinforced my existing satisfaction with this store. If anything they've added to their already extensive inventory.

The photos I added were taken standing just inside the entrance, to give an idea of the size and extent of the main store area. The previously noted classroom and exhibition spaces are on the other side of the left wall - seen in the last 2 images - running the full depth of the store.)

I can't speak to all brands, but at least for Olympus they match any advertised sale prices. They also have regular sales of their own, so depending on your patience quotient you can potentially make your budget go quite a bit farther. Or acquire more gear!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to take the time to answer questions, offer suggestions, or help you make good decisions whatever your level of knowledge or interest. I haven't spent a lot of time carefully watching their interactions with other customers, but I've never seen them try any remotely aggressive sales tactics; I suspect any such behavior would simply not be tolerated.

Pre-pandemic they regularly hosted presentations and classes in several rooms in a wing dedicated to such. Industry reps would present new models, give presentations on getting the most out of their equipment, and answer questions. Photographers would give presentations in their specialties - wildlife, sports, portrait, weddings, etc. Presumably these in-person events will resume when it's safe to so so.

Currently the offerings are primarily streaming. I haven't yet signed up for one, but they're posted on the Website as they're available. There are also some local(ish) field trip classes - limited in size, and adhering to recommended safety precautions.

The Website is extensive, and recently moved to a whole new platform. As of this writing it's still being refined. If you encounter any issues please do email them a "bug report". As with any operation this size they don't have a large IT department to do these kinds of upgrades, so we Beta testers get to help out. 😉

Had an awesome, completely unintimidating experience at Kenmore Camera today 🙌 I realized last night that I needed a bigger memory card for my new(ish) secondary camera body. I had completely spaced the memory card and extra battery, and I found out there was a show I really want to shoot this week. So I set out with my SL1, Telephoto lens, and the 30D body, which I recently received as a gift from a friend.
I was intimidated during my first visit because there's always been a subliminal pressure to buy 'the best equipment', but I'm really not interested in going into debt for the fancy stuff. It didn't take long to figure that I just needed my equipment on hand to show them exactly what I needed.

I was finally able to get the correct lens hood for the 18-55mm (I didn't have the camera on hand, so my friend ended up buying the wrong one last time). The clerk explained that Canon had made several versions of the lens, which is why it's so tedious to get the correct size.
I requested another battery pack for the 30D, and then when I showed him the memory card, he immediately winced.
I asked him if it was an obsolete memory card, and he nods and says that it's a very old type of memory card. He had one for a certain price, but was concerned that I'd be over-paying compared to what I could find online (considering how old the camera is, and the quality of the memory card/whether its compatible). I was straight with him and told him I'm desperate, because I have a show to shoot tomorrow.

I thought about it for a moment, and then decided that I should just buy a used camera body that is newer than the 30D (mind you, this was 100% my decision, with no coaxing or pressure from the clerk! So refreshing.)
From there I asked the clerk to show me what camera body is comparable to my SL1. He pulls out the 60D. He then fetches the battery charger and strap, and asks again if I want a second battery. I ask for a memory card comparable to the one I have, and he showed me the best SD card they had for what I needed.
Lastly I showed him my Telephoto lens and asked if I should get a hood for it, and the clerk asks if I ever get light glare. I thought for a moment and realized I'm usually further from the stage when I pull that out, so I changed my mind. The clerk seemed very familiar with everything I had; it was such a memorable experience.

"Kenmore Camera exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a team of exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist with my camera needs. Their prices on cameras were competitive, making it a no-brainer to choose them for my purchases.

What truly sets Kenmore Camera apart is their commitment to education. The classes they offer are top-notch, providing valuable insights and techniques that have greatly enhanced my photography skills. As a professional photographer with work published internationally in prestigious publications like National Geographic and Time magazine, I can attest to the quality of their classes and highly recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their photography game.

I'll definitely be making future trips to Kenmore Camera for all my camera needs. Their combination of excellent service, competitive prices, and top-tier educational offerings make them the go-to destination for photographers of all levels."

Always had an amazing experience here at this shop! Cant express enough how many times Vinny saved my life and made my day! He’s always so accommodating and kind and never once makes fun of my lack of camera knowledge. He’s always recommended the best options of lens that suits my needs and never once tries to obnoxiously push a sale on me and actually gives me his attention and patience which I truly appreciate! Thanks to him as always I am loving my new Fuji setup!

I forgot to give Kenmore a review after my visit last year. I bought a Fuji XF 50mm F2 lens in this store. I was even surprised they had the silver version. Kenmore's salespeople were friendly during my visit!

There are no camera stores left, but this one is exceptional. Enormous variety of stock of all kinds of photography kit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. No more online buying or Best Buy for me when it comes to cameras.

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff! I walked in not intending to buy a camera, but Ted convinced me and let me spend 2 hours testing out the different lenses and teaching me quite a bit as a novice photographer. He was patient and didn’t make me feel intimidated by my little knowledge of cameras. Not to mention, they also have everything when it comes to cameras whether used/ or brand new. I recommend this place so much! 10000/10

Over the last few years I have bought my new camera (Pentax K-1 full frame) and four, used, Mint condition lenses (Pentax Macro 100 2.8 WP, Sigma 70-200 2.8 APO, Sigma 2X APO, Sigma 120-400 4.5 APO). I've always had excellent, Honest service, great values (much less than east coast dealers) and speedy delivery. My latest purchase arrived at my door less than 24 hours from when I bought it and I live out of state! Like all the others, this lens was better than described. Thank you Joanne and Johnathan!
