Pflugerville Police Department

I had a very positive experience with 3 officers. I called 911 in a panic and wasn’t the most polite, or cooperative. I waited about 15 min and called 911 again and they assured me officers were on the way and would be there soon.

Within 2 minutes 3 officers showed up and even though I was super stressed out and probably not the most cooperative, they helped me through my situation and calmed me down. They actually made me feel like I was in control of the situation and they were there only to help. It was really reassuring and they provided me with lots of different opportunities to seek help and counciling.

Thank you very much for being so patient, I know your job is always dealing with the most stressed out civilians so it must always be a stressful work environment. I genuinely appreciate how I was treated and I plan to visit the department in the future to see about volunteer work or making a donation.

I had a flat tire tonight on the tollway right before my exit (Kelly Lane). As I sat there waiting for my GF to bring the portable air tank, and contemplating the possible need to change the tire in the dark and with cars passing by at 75 MPH, I saw police lights behind me and sure enough two Pflugerville Police vehicles had parked behind me covering my car from traffic and illuminating my car. The officers (a female and a male) were very helpful and after finding the giant hole in my rear tire it was obvious that no amount of air was going to help. The officers were very helpful in the process of changing the tire and I really appreciated their polite and professional attitude. Thanks officers for your help!

I locked my keys in my car on the way to work around 530 pm Thursday (3/31). When I called you were very busy so I decided to call my neighbor to come get me. I went on to work in my other car and called you again when I got off work. You came right out and unlocked my car for me. Thank you very much. Your service to our community is greatly appreciated.

This policing organization is doing a great job considering the expanding demographics and sheer volume of circumstances requiring a law enforcement entity in play. I've had a few experience with them of one type or another and in each case, their staff/officers were professional, humane and attempting to support the community to the best of their abilities in light of the resources available. If you don't want to live in a community where crime is common and your personal safety is always at risk wherever you are, then support your local law enforcement...and be a positive contributor to your community as an individual. We create our own realities and communities.

We just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU TO Officer D. Hailes and Office J. Yurcina for coming to our aide at Pflugerville Lake after we had lost our car keys in the lake and our cell phones were locked in the vehicle! They let us use both their cell phones to get help lined up and checked in with us several times to make sure we were OK. It was very comforting knowing they were there and they were both so kind and understanding. They are a great asset to the Pflugerville Police Department.

Made me feel safe when they came to my house to check on a suspicious situation for me. Feel embarrassed for making a big deal out of something small but they were very courteous about it.
