I went today for a scan. Cindy was the best! She was kind on the phone and even nicer in person. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, in a freezing room, and on a rock hard table, for a 3 hour test. I slept like a baby in her care. THANK YOU CINDY FOR BEING SO AWESOME!

The facility, doctor and staff were pleasant, peaceful, clean and professional. The doctor truly listened to my concerns, and well... I was so thankful to have access to such high quality care.

I’ve been here twice for outpatient surgery and have been very impressed with the staff. They’ve taken great care of me and obviously take good care of their patients. It’s clean and well ordered. The bad reviews are perplexing and probably inaccurate. No one like hospitals, but I’ve had great experiences here.

Still here , but huge shout out to everyone from intake, nurses, doctors, radiologists Jeff was great, security and custodial. I was very impressed with the admittance staff, nurses, lab technicians, and doctors. After my pre-op appointment, I felt like I had made new friends. Everyone was so friendly and helpful both the morning of surgery and after. I wound up getting sick after my procedure and the nurses took such good care of me and made sure I was well enough to be discharged. One nurse, Whitney, wheeled me out to my daughter even though she was parked pretty far from the exit. If I need any future surgeries I'm confident that I will be well taken care of by all employed at Highlands Medical Center.

My father, Arthur Beard, was admitted to the ER this past Sunday and was subsequently admitted as a Covid patient. My father past away from Covid the following Wednesday. While my father was at Highlands he was treated with the upmost respect and compassion. I know the nurses were spread thin but they were so attentive to my father and treated our family like we were the only ones there. Every request was met quickly and my father received the best care imaginable. Thank you for all you did for the Beard family. Your love and care for your patients did not go unnoticed.

Ended up at Highlands for an emergency appendectomy and everyone from registration to discharge was amazing. They went above and beyond for my wife and I.

It’s a huge blessing to have such genuinely caring folks at our little hospital.

Thank you all!

I have been seen in the Emergency Room a few times and was also an inpatient before being transferred. While the hospital was a little bit out of date concerning technology the staff was always very friendly and helpful and willing to do anything they could to make the stay as well as the transfer easy for me. I would definitely continue to be seen here.

So, Like most of the reviews is how I felt for 10 plus years. If you have the sniffles, go to Highlands. If you got heart, go to Huntsville, Vanderbilt, stroke, Erlanger. Yesterday after 2 months of my family doctor saying UTI and giving me meds that even wasn't for that , I decided ok let's give it a shot. Huntsville has a long wait time. I went in @ 11 :30 am. They were swapped. Ok. From admissions to Jarrod, Vonda, Dr.Jones were right there. I didn't have a UTI. They literally didn't stop to find out real problem. Cyst on ovaries, Bladder infection. Really? He done a CT scan, pelvic exam, urine of course. The only wait time I had was waiting on discharge. 2 hours!! Oh well, in 2 hours they were trying to keep 2 ppl who come in code 4. Unfortunately 1 didn't make it. Not a car wreck either. I prayed for these families. Y'all gripe over wait times not knowing the other end. The doctors, nurses, CNA's have priorities. Why go to a hospital and spend your money to walk out not knowing or getting your scripts to solve the problem? They were trying and I saw with my own 2 eyes them doing CPR on a guy. You think bc you're sick with sinuses, back pain, tooth pain, sniffles, slight fever that they don't care? They do! It's by priority though. I'm glad they saved one life. I'm sorry for who lost their family member. Remember you're not the only one in the world. They go home I'm sure questioning "What could I have done different"? I commend these ppl. The law force, fire fighters, Military. Think if you're closest family member was to die... Would they help the person with a cough , fever? Or would they save your family member first? Once again Ty Highlands. My point of view changed bc you now have carrying ppl God bless...

The staff and team that took care of me during my tubal ligation were wonderful. Very caring and took time to explain everything that was going on leading up to my procedure. Very prompt.

Needed help for one of my players. Linda Cookston (billing dept) and Wendy (registration at ER, can't remember her last name though) went above and beyond to bend over backwards and get us the information and help we needed. Triage nurse was fantastic. Doctor was super busy as the place was packed, but he made sure all questions were answered.

I can't brag on Linda and Wendy enough though. I called praying for some direction and got so much more than anticipated and the end result was a scared, young man getting the help and care he needed.

This community is very lucky to have a hospital of this caliber in their town, Thank you Highlands and staff for your time and patience, alot of people really don't realize what they have here, they would if they lived in other towns of this size and seen the community hospitals they had.

Do not use address 380 woods cove Rd. 205 parks Ave will work much better. I notified hospital of the error and duplicate addresses.
