Senjyu House

Pretty good food. I had the Dragon Roll and Steak Hibachi. My daughter had the California Roll and the kid's Steak and Noodles. Service was good, but slightly vacant. I had to wave them down a few times for a box and my check, but that's alright. They were super pleasant.

We spent about $20 each, but we had a full meal AND a sushi roll each, so it made sense.

This place had a glow up in the past year. The atmosphere is lovely. There is a bar now! The sushi is even better than before. The soup and salad were perfect. The service was great! We very much enjoyed our food and our time there!

This is by far the best restaurant in Scottsboro, let alone the best Asian cuisine in Jackson county, Alabama.

The owners are amazing people and extremely cordial and make you feel like family from day one. After living in town for 4 years, I actually did not know this location existed until a buddy brought me in for a business meeting over lunch and ever since then I can't stop coming back.

I actually recently named one of their new roles called the boro rangoon roll which is a cooked crab roll that will completely change your life for only $7 for four pieces! This is unheard of pricing, especially on there a more exotic sushi and more exotic dishes you're looking at half the price of anywhere else I've ever eaten at - matt, my average lunch or dinner consisting of a bento box or chicken fried rice and two of the rolls mentioned above is $20 even with a tip. This is extremely good pricing for the quality of food and service that you receive. Everything is homemade. Their desserts are to die for the frozen cheesecake is amazing. The list goes on and on of positives about this restaurant. I cannot think of a single negative whatsoever and I strongly urge residents of the area and travelers to both come on in and check it out. You will not be let down! Tell them that jon from Rhode Island sent you !

Ps. Fried cheesecake is the best dessert I've ever found in the South and I mean that wholeheartedly!

I've never eaten this much sushi in my life. But it was so good. I wish I lived closer I would be here every weekend. We got our food surprisingly fast for the amount of stuff we ordered.

IMPRESSED!!! Ihave eaten at MANY japanese restaurant over the last 40 years. This restaurant is as good as any and better than most if not all. The fish was fresh and delicious. The cocktails different and also excellent. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You won't have any regrets!

Great food! Great atmosphere! The Dynamite Roll is my favorite, also the Sinju Roll is the perfect blend of flavors with a little spice. 😋

Nice atmosphere the food is great very friendly staff. Glad to see something different open In the area. This is a place I would recommend if you like sushi or hibachi grill.

Smokey roll was excellent. Also enjoyed the shrimp and avocado roll. My husband had the Scallop and shrimp hibachi combo and it was delicious. The seafood and vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. The udon noodles were also really great. The soup and salad were the weakest part- bland. We almost didn’t go inside because it looked dark and empty from outside for a Saturday night but I’m so glad we did! Inside was bright and friendly and there were plenty of people enjoying their food also. The football games were on and the staff were fast and nice. Great experience! We’ll definitely go again when we are visiting the area.

Senjyu is our local go-to sushi and hibachi spot! I always order the Tuna lover roll or the Beauty and the Beast roll. This place never disappoints!

Ordered the Love Boat For Two. Waitress commented it was a good choice. It was a good mix of sashimi and sushi and was arranged attractively on a boat. Tuna, salmon, shrimp, octopus, red snapper, saba, rainbow roll, and dragon roll. Probably some I missed because I eat things without knowing what they are sometimes.

The food is great, my personal favorite being the Hidden Dragon Roll. If I’m not in the mood for sushi, the hibachi is also great to have. Workers are nice, which adds to the experience.

This place was so good! There was so much food and the prices are great! Will definitely be going back!

It was amazing. Went here with my friend the other day, the waiter was lovely. My personal favorite was the Senjyu Roll. It was large, but really good.

I enjoyed this restaurant for the first time tonight, and I loved it!! I got the hibachi shrimp dinner. Also ordered cucumber salad of the appetizer menu. It was all delicious! I'll definitely be going back!
