Ta'Carbon

Great find while staying in town for a night. Had the fried bologna sandwich which was amazing! Also had the chicken patties with gravy, mashed potatoes and carrots. Kind of nondescript on the outside but the inside has a really nice atmosphere. Booths and tables. Excellent photography made to look like windows so you can see outside.

This place is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic and laid back and relaxed. Our waitress was so nice and took the time to explain things. We got the sampler appetizer which had beer battered fried pickles. Was super skeptical but you can't miss these. They were so good.
The burgers are some of the best. And we also decided to get the horseshoe. Talk about decadence! Stop by you won't regret it. If you are lucky you will also see a beautifully restored old green car with the ma and pa skeletons sitting in the seats!

Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food! Stopped in here randomly on a road trip and was very happy to have some good food!

The food was great. The service was awesome. Everyone was so nice. There were several workers. The place was very clean. I highly recommend it.

We are from out of town and were going through Tuscola in the late afternoon. We were hungry and looking for something better than a fast food place to dine in. Seeing Ta'carbon we decided to give it a try and were well rewarded by both a pleasant atmosphere and very good food. My wife had the fried catfish dinner and I the tenderloin. Both dinners were well prepared and came to us fresh and hot out of the kitchen. Our waitress introduced us to the owner and we had a great conversation with him. We highly recommend Ta'carbon and hope to soon return there with freinds.

1st time visit. Was very happy with our service and the food was very good. I was blown away how good the homemade chili was. Unbelievably awesome. Will definitely come back.

Such a beautiful facility. The food is absolutely wonderful and perfectly priced! The heavenly bread with cinnamon butter, the horseshoe, the drinks all perfect!! The employees are so friendly and helpful. Will go back again...even if it's a 30 min drive to get there... it's well worth it!

Really nice place. Had the tenderloin horseshoe. Was delicious. Loved the cheese sauce . Ate it rest the next day for lunch to.

The food was excellent and the server Debbie was great. The owner (Jim) even came to our table to thank us for coming. Definitely will be back

Delicious dinner of 8oz ribeye, baked potato and salad. Food was very good but a little pricey for the steak. It was a little thin and I'm not quite sure it was really 8 ounces but it was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor so I was happy with my meal. Waitress was very attentive and on point. I would recommend Ta'Carbon for any special occasion.

Food is worth the price if you want a nice sit down steak restaurant

Absolutely my favorite place to eat around home. I always get the steak Alfredo and portobello mushroom caps. Absolutely the best. And Teri is an amazing waitress! Really makes you feel at home.

1st time visit, great food, service, atmosphere. All the decorations on the inside was really nice, one of the cleanest restroom I've seen in a public place. Hats off to the owners and staff for a great experience

Very good menu selection. Food was good. Service was great. Decor is nice. Not too formal. We had the Italian beef special and it was very good.

We had a sweet, friendly server. We went at about 2 pm. Our steaks and baked potatoes were delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We had the opportunity to visit with the gracious owner after our meal. We highly recommend trying Ta'Carbon. We will definitely be back.

Party of 9, server was efficient and friendly. Food was good.
No one in my party mentioned they were dissatisfied with their choice of meal.
Server was right on top of frequent deink refills.
I was disappointed menu listed wedge salad, but it was unavailable.
I would definitely return, if circumstances warranted. I live sole distance away and had met local family members there.

Absolutely amazing food! Appetizer combo alone could fill you up! The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes are huge! The fish sandwich is the size of the plate! Great service and also great owner! We appreciate you paying our bill even though he didn’t have to! Great 1st visit and was even better considering it was our daughter’s 14th birthday!
