Squire House Gardens

Visited Squire House Gardens this weekend to get plants for three pots in a lower level garden. They always have great choices, reasonable prices, and highly helpful advice and service. One of the owners helped pick out three beautiful sets of plants that are interesting and unique. Thanks so much!

Squire House Gardens is a very special place. There is just so much to love. Caring and helpful people, gorgeous gardens, unique gift items, beautiful pots, high end garden tools that last a lifetime, and a very carefully cultivated selection of plants, many of which you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Everything I purchase from Squire House Gardens thrives. Martin and Kathy are so helpful in helping me find the right plants for various purposes and conditions. They grow and pick plants that are hardy for this MN, WI climate and they are sturdy and healthy plants. Another wonderful feature is that they grow many of the plants they sell, so I can stroll through their gorgeous gardens and spot ones that I like, see them in their habitat, then buy them and bring them home. Squire House Gardens also has varieties that are unusual and help make gardens become works of art. I have posted a picture of my "Moon Light" garden taken at night.

Working with Martin of Squire House Gardens was a delight. I love walking through the gardens at their location. Martin designed the "landscape" for our condiminium deck - complete with plant and container selection and recommendations. It's lovely. We've moved the plants and containers inside to overwinter in this harsh Minnesota winter. We're beginning to see new growth already and it's December 20th. I highly recommend working with Martin and Squire House Garden.

Picturesque setting, charming owners, and a sweet shop cat. This is a wonderful destination gift shop and nursery. The plant and shop selection is so fantastic that I can never leave without making a purchase.
