Jeannie did a superb job cutting and highlighting my hair. She and Kevin run a clean, beautiful shop and the shampoo bowl is the most comfortable I’ve ever encountered. While I was waiting for my hair to process, Kevin brought me a cushion to set my phone on. They are friendly, professional, and aim to please! Jeannie even called me the next day to see how I liked my hair. Great salon!

Image Salon is a landmark of the Skokie community, and more specifically of the Skokie Jewish community. I have had the pleasure of being a customer of Image Salon since its inception in the mid 2000s, and they never disappoint. Jeannie and Kevin (the owning couple) are skilled barbers who bring seasoned experience in their field to every one of their interactions with clients. Each time I walk in, I am greeted by my name and this is true for every single customer who walks in. They do beautiful work and ensure that the customer comes first at all junctures. They create a welcoming, warm environment for people. Their passion runs deep for the barbering industry, but also for customer service and engagement. Highly highly recommend this place!

Kevin did a great job with haircut on my teenage son and made my son feel comfortable. Jeannie worked skillfully to give my elderly sister-in-law a fabulous new hair style, and she made her look years younger too. Nice customer service. We already made an appt to come back again in 8 weeks. Thank you.

Jeannie is amazing! She listened to all my concerns about my hair gave me a beautiful haircut that would look best on me while also making my hair healthy again! All the time she was cutting it she gave me great advice on hair health and how to dry, style, and care for my hair to make it look and feel its best! I will definitely be back! Best haircut I have had in a VERY long time :)

I was looking for a new local salon, was recommended Image Salon by several different friends finally went in and got one of the best haircuts from Jeannie. Both Kevin and Jeannie are super friendly and they're very good at what they do. I highly recommend them, and I will be coming here for all my future haircuts.

Kevin is fabulous with children - my son has only had hair cuts from “Mr. Kevin” and because of his patient explanations and kind, friendly demeanor, my son is not afraid of coming or having any of the tools used on his hair.
