Tandem Glass Gallery & Studio

We love Tandem Glass, for stunning beauty and for the kindness of the crafters. We have taken family there to see the blowers in action, and the patient demonstrations are wonderful. It is a joy to have a few pieces, including the ones in the photograph. Life is more festive with Tandem Glass.

Very neat place! Two very hard working, talented and friendly craftspeople sharing their beautiful creations with the world while they work--the workshop isn't even separated from the gallery area by a whole wall, so you really get a first hand view of "where the magic happens"!

Stumbled upon this place while driving back to town from a kayak trip. Something told me to pull in and take a look. So glad I did. Beautiful work. A hidden gem. Bought myself a little piggy.

Stunning with their gleaming colors and whimsical shapes, we call our set of Tandem mosaic cups our "happy glasses." They are the perfect gift for those who appreciate unique and beautiful functional art. Charlie and Terrill were very helpful in choosing and shipping a set of four glasses to our son for a birthday present, and he is thrilled with them! We hope to return soon to this amazing studio (in its scenic spot overlooking the Eastern River), watch the artists work, and shop again in the gallery.

I love my blown glass Slinky vase in a beautiful saffron orange - it sits proudly in my kitchen where I get to see it every single day! And my newest addition of smoky scotch glasses are a conversation starter to say the least. Terrill and Charlie do incredible work -Stop in and see them in Dresden, Maine if you can but if you can’t get there then spend some time on their website I’m sure you’ll find something to add to your home. You won’t be disappointed!

Finally stopped in after driving by for years. Had a great chat with the owner and he explained some of the techniques he used to make some of his pieces. Left with a one of a kind vase that is as functional as it is beautiful. Will definitely try to stop by on a day they are making more pieces!

What a great experience working with Terrill from Tandem Glass. We were looking for a special wedding gift for our son and picked two of their beautiful glasses and had them shipped directly. We could not be happier with the craftsmanship or the customer service. It exceeded my expectations in every possible way!

We found this place Thanks to Google. We managed to get there just in time for opening. The fires weren't on yet, but we did get a lot of fun information about the artists process, and about specific pieces in the gallery!

I took lessons with Terrill and Charlie and I can't say enough good things about there knowledge and love of their craft. They are so amazing and patient with beginners and I felt so confident moving thru out the shop from station to station. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a detailed lesson from two hard working and passionate experts.

Talented glass blowers who create memorable pieces in a beautiful location

They have beautiful glasswork. We have purchased 8 unique glasses from them and have given many as gifts. They are always a topic of conversation and every single one is a masterpiece in it's own right.

They do the majority of their glassblowing during the winter if you want to stop by and see them in action. Nicest people.

Uniquely crafted glass pieces that are functional works of art. All created at the studio and seeing the process is very interesting. Friendly folks who like to share the stories of their art. Prices aren't crazy, well worth a visit.

We bought 4 glasses for our life in 2008 and enjoyed using them daily. Unfortunately one broke & I wish to replace it & add to our collection. It is now nearing the end of 20’19. We still live full-time in a RV. This past summer we crossed from San Diego to A RV Park just south of Melbourne but find we only have two of your glasses from our original purchase. We want to place a new order!

Beautiful studio with some great blown glass. One of the owners, Charlie, was a great guy to talk to. We bought a beautiful pitcher from his collection and it is great addition to our home.
