Food was very good. Service was great.
The prices are a more than the paper menu shows but the menus were probably printed and then their product costs rose, understandable. Will be going back.

just had the chicken parm sandwich and italian beef, literally the best i’ve ever had! this is definitely my new go to restaurant. you will Not be disappointed!!!

Have had the eggplant parm sandwich before and it was always amazing. Just wasn't great this time. My dad's chicken sandwich with onion rings and frys were spot on! We will be back to give the parm another shot.

Beef is a slam dunk... lemonts best kept secret is their pizzia; detroit style nice airy dough, crispy outside, and an absolute pleasure to eat. Load it up with their amazing beef and in my opinion potentially the best pizzia in lemont. Inside the building is a bit dated, but who cares, your not there to sit in some glamorous hall, your there because your hungry AF and want a solid meal. Thank you, we will be back!

Great local owned family restaurant. The bread and steak sandwich is outstanding. Staff is always nice including the owner. Some really great events too. A real gem in town!

The Italian beef is the best I ever had!! We also had the meatball sandwich and breaded steak sandwich. Everything was top notch!

Outstand update! I already left the below but tonight above and beyond!
I ordered a 2 hot dog special to share , one dog for each person and a share of the fries. Because of the storm I ordered via uber eats. I asked for each dog to be different topping on the notes of the hotdogs order. The order came perfection! No excuse that they couldnt because its a special, No excuse they didnt see the notes,, NO EXCUSES at all! MAMA D made the food PERFECT! Exactly as we asked.
I can't tell you how outstanding this is. Its silly but so many competitors wouldn't have made them different. Thr competitors say, sorry it'd one special they are made the same.

Second amazing item. I ordered a cheeseburger, grilled onions, ketchup and lettuce. I swear this burger tasted better than Five Guys! Better size, better soft bun and made to perfection at a cheaper price! So a burger better tasting than Five Guys and made to order the same, I am officially removing Five Guys from my fast food choices. I mean why pay $15 for a burger with no fries when I can get a burger and fries for the same $15 or less and it tastes the same or better!!! .

Original post...Great food and good prices for the volume. I haven't had a bad item off the menu. Very flavorful beef sandwiches all the way down to a simple pizza puff. Great Italian food, the restaurant inside is clean and basic style and the food is great! There are casino slots to the right behind a small divider and comfortable chairs and tables for every size party with 1990s movie posters framed on the walls.
Call ahead to check hours. Google hours are not accurate. It's worth a visit for sure.

Casual neighborhood counter-order restaurant with Rocky memorabilia. Delicious Italian beef! Many other options. Friendly service. We'll be back! Delicious cannoli, too!

Food and service were good. Fries were probably my favorite. I got the gyro plate for about $10 and a drink for $2. Gyro plate comes with lots of gyro, onion, tomato, 2 pieces of pita bread, and fries. Drink is optional.

Ordered at the counter, hit the slot machines while we waited for our order, took it home to enjoy!

Open until 8pm on a saturday? BUT the food is great. And prices are even better!

Food was just as I expected and very great service!

This was my second time eating here. The first time I got a gyro and a pizza for the game and that was the best pizza sauce I’ve ever tasted. This time the owner told me to try the Italian beef, so I did….OMG THE FLAVOR WAS FRESH. Not like Chicago where you don’t know if it’s real or not🙂. This Italian Beef is better than Portillo’s. And if you are a true Chicagoan, you know what I’m talking about….PLEASE TAKE THAT DRIVE TO LEMONT, IL AND CHECK OUT MAMA D’s.

I don't eat bread so finding a good beef can be difficult since you can't hide the quality of the meat with a giant, au jus soaked hoagie roll. I typically get a beef and sausage bowl with cheese. We normally like another local place but since they closed their restaurant and moved into a sports bar the quality/service hasn't been the same. We've tried many places and finally found this place. The beef was tender and juicy with great flavor. The sausage was spicy and tender; I cut it with my fork, it was like butter. We will definitely be back again.

I'm picky when it comes to Italian beefs but that was delicious. Not to many good places in the burbs that have good Italian beef. I would recommend

Doesn't disappoint !

The food is very good. I was working out in Lemont and found this place. Awesome food and even better people behind the counter. I highly recommend this place. If you can't find anything in here to eat, then you're not hungry.

First time eating here, had the pizza and gyros. Gyros were good. However the pizza….. the pizza was delicious. Reminds me of what my grandmother used to make. Brought back warm memories. It’s nice to find a place that can make an authentic Italian pizza. Thank you!!!
