Well, my day felt and began like it was 'just one of those days.' I was unsure how my visit to the local McHenry Verizon Store would go. Fortunately, I had a wonderful young man named, Austin helping me. My cell phone was so old, I had to use headphones to answer my phone calls. I brought my family along, because it turned out we all need upgrades. Austin was informative and knowledgeable. My family felt very welcomed and each of us interacted with him. At times we were challenging with questions, but he was a trooper and very funny. At one point I felt like I was swinging from the light fixtures or did that happen? Anyway, definitely visit the store and meet Austin. I do have to give a shout out to Jimmy another great employee at Verizon. He spent time assisting and entertaining my family, blending in nicely. These guys deserve Starbucks!! So if you are in the area stop by and say hello to these guys. Our phones by the way are awesome and work beautifully!!

I went today to get a new phone because I have been saving up all year for it, the customer service made my time there super enjoyable. Everyone there was so kind, sweet, and easy to talk to. I was able to joke around with staff too, it felt very safe to be there. Haris was a big help in making my new phone experience exciting and easy. I highly recommend trying to get Haris to help you.

When I visited Verizon in McHenry,I was very lucky to be served by Jimmy, one of the best customer service people I have ever met. Jimmy addressed all my problems and was knowledgeable, efficient, supportive, patient and kind. Thank you Jimmy!

If you need anything from Verizon in Mchenry you need to see Jimmy! He is the absolute best and was very kind and helpful during a stressful situation when my phone broke. Jimmy went above and beyond to help his custom and you don't see that often. Thank you so much Jimmy for your days of support and help I literally could not have done all this without you!

Austin was fantastic about helping me out of a frustration situation between Google, Asurion, Verizon 1-800 call center. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and he was extremely understanding!

Had a fantastic experience at this Verizon store upgrading my phone with the help of Chris. He explained every step, was very personable, patient and kind. It's comforting to now have a reliable expert to go to for my family's Verizon related needs. Thanks again Chris!

Went in yesterday with two phones giving me issues and a fellow named Jimmy fixed both my problems in a fast professional way.

Jimmy just saved me from having to buy a whole new phone. You da man, man!

Guys there very very professional and took care of our needs in a timely manor.

Was having trouble with my phone not waking up. Went in to ask the experts for possible help, or at least advice on what phone I should buy. Jimmy, one of the guys there, not only fixed my issue in like under a minute (!) but also was doing like 4 other things. And he's an iPhone guy! He also checked my account to see if I was eligible for a new phone, and answered my questions about the new phones out there and promotions I could get with different ones. He wasn't pushing a sale on me, either. He was just very friendly and knowledgeable. The other guys were also helpful, friendly, and could talk to me about the flagship phones that were coming out. All of this, right here, is why stores like this should still exist. Go see Jimmy.

Stopped in to upgrade to a newer phone.
Was greeted by the manager who took my phone number and said there would be just a short wait. While waiting he asked why I stopped, then directed me to phones I might be interested in.
Within minutes a man came over to help me. He was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable of their products. I decided on a phone and he set everything up, transferring all my info and pictures.
All in all it took less than 30 minutes.
Highly recommend this store.

Stopped by there with my family and had an excellent experience. Staff and the Manager were very knowledgeable and answered many questions with a smile. We will be returning soon. Keep up the great work Vincie and Jimmy!!!!!

Great experience! Getting a phone in store has never been easier. And they are very diligent with their COVID protection. Touchless service is very helpful. To the point where we handle payment and account validation from our own devices. Haven't been in a store for 5 years and I wouldn't mind going back after this experience!

I recently went into this store and have not been in there probably in over 2-3yrs ago the store seemed different than before very cut and dry now. We were met by Steph to help us switch our phone service over and the person we were suppose to meet was out at this time. I am so glad we met her! She was beyond great honestly everyone there was very just straight faced and she had a smile on her face and more than willing to help us since our person was out and answered any questions we had. We had spent about an 1hr or more there switching over everything since we were getting 3 new lines and she was very personable and went over everything in detail not left hanging like she was just trying to sell you something. We need more people like her in this field not just a "Hi" "Bye" kind of person, someone that actually got to know you and explain things and laugh, in this kind of world we are in now we need more like her and Verizon in McHenry is lucky to have her! I am glad we switched! If your in need of help there please ask for Steph you won't be disappointed and she will go above and beyond for you!

Picked up our item here on the locker very simple and employees were very helpful

WOW. Best phone store experience to date. My boyfriend and I signed up for a new unlimited plan and were taken care of extremely well. The excellent 4/5G service, phone availability, fantastic veteran benefits, and just general savings we were eligible for made the decision to go with Verizon easy.

We worked solely with Davonte, who was knowledgeable with unbiased opinions, honest and upfront, and with a genuine kindness that was unmatched. He helped us to troubleshoot through many [unforeseen] obstacles, and all with a smile. We feel very fortunate to have gotten to work with Davonte throughout the process. 10/10 recommend.

If you have a problem, talk to the general manager Frank. I have to admit, some of the employees in the store have given me great headaches because for whatever reason, they just don't seem to have their heart in a good customer service frame of mind. Frank has given me nothing but great customer service. Even if I haven't had to deal with anybody else, Frank has always been there as always listened, diagnosed and addressed the issue which in turn leaves me with a smile and a great comment like this. For those that have complained about phones not working, that should have no impact on the store itself but on the product instead. So next time you go into the store, make sure you have a good attitude otherwise there's no one else to blame but yourself. If all else fails, speak to the general manager and he will take good care of you. I wish everyone would model themselves after a great guy like Frank. He gets it and makes things happen.

The Solutions Specialist Alex was wonderfully helpful and straight forward I greatly appreciated all of his help, and I would highly recommend anyone to stop there. Everyone seemed very nice but this young man named Alex was very eager to help! And did just that ^^^
