Hoagie's Family Restaurant

The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The Omelet was filled with fixings and covered in cheese...the Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection crispy of top and tons of flavor. I loved that I could order a single slice of French Toast.

Great simple, yummy breakfast...I got eggs Benedict to go...look...even after 15 min drive home...it was perfect! Great job! Very very reasonable prices. They DO take credit cards now :) Hashbrowns crispy too!

Hoagies does get busy. Busy busy. When we went, it was just before closing, like 1pm on a weekday. It wasn’t busy. Attentive, friendly staff. Cool place.

The food was great. The pancakes were awesome. I hope to be back a few more times to try everything on the menu.

I had the steak and eggs. The hash browns are fantastic if you like CRISP hash browns. Amazing. I also got the pancakes and, really, I could have just gotten the pancakes. They are delicious and plenty filling.

The only downside to Hoagies is the location and parking. It’s a busy street. I’m sure there’s a lot or something to park in, but I couldn’t find it. I finally found a spot I could parallel park in. Just be prepared.

Great place and great prices! This place is a staple of Hopkins and if you’ve never been here I definitely recommend it!

When you walk in you have to seat yourself and if you go on a weekend plan on it being busy. We ordered a bit of food and had to wait around 35 minutes after ordering to receive it. All the while, we chatted and enjoyed the great atmosphere of this small town diner.

The food came and it was delicious, the pancakes are huge! The breakfast bagel was yummy and their hot chocolate was tasty as well. All in all you can’t beat the prices here and for that alone I give it 5 stars!

One of the last hold-outs of a good, cheap breakfast place. Great service, great food, great prices. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very classic diner/Cafe breakfast all day place. Fast service, super fair pricing and the classic small town downtown Cafe shtick.

This is a neighborhood restaurant right in the heart of downtown Hopkins. I happened to be there to grab a quick lunch while waiting for the laundry service to finish. They serve breakfast and lunch items thru out the day. Decor is a throwback from 50s. Food is reasonably cheap and good. I ordered all in egg omelet.

Above average food insanely low prices. I was shocked to see how little the check was. We got eggs hash browns cakes. They were all great. For a 9am Monday morning in august it took less than 10 mins to get our food. The place was not too busy then. Overall would go again very fun little family restaurant.

Affordable, pretty much under $10 per person the food is made fresh, tons of space, and don’t forget to check their specials board. Their pancakes were tasty and almost tasted like cornmeal? Not sure but it was different in a good way. I’ll be back for sure!

Decor wise lots of throwback to this place they had a old running box tv in the corner that gave me a laugh.

We found this gem while searching for a pre play late lunch with our three kiddos. The staff were very friendly and patient. The food was absolutely delicious. My kids who hate onions ate my onion rings gone. The mushroom burger I had and the cheeseburger my husband ate were mouth watering as well. Atmosphere was great too. All in all 5 out of 5 from this family of 5 lol.

old school greasy all-american diner-feel place with very friendly service and food that hit the spot. stopped in on my lunch break and was serviced quickly which i really appreciated. staff is kind and seemed to engage the regulars and other customers alike. i had a cheese burger and onion rings, the side of onion rings was so large i couldn’t finish them in one go as one person which i felt was a good value for the price. i left feeling very full and only about $10 lighter if i remember correctly (before tip). thank you people of hoagie’s i’ll be back!

What a magical find on mainstreet in downtown Hopkins. Every table was full, but customers are pretty good about not lingering so you get seated pretty quickly. The wait staff are funky and fabulous. The food is everything you want your breakfast to be. Hot, fresh, real ingredients and delicious. The hashbrowns were delish and the omelets are jam packed full of whatever you want. And the prices are amazing!

Can you tell me what brand coffee you guys brew? A waitress told me years ago and I forgot the name (it was from California I believe). I moved too far away to go there often and am craving some of that delicious coffee you all serve! Thank you

Such a great place! Atmosphere is genuine family diner style, service is wonderful and food was excellent. They have coffee crafts so you can refill yourself, napkins on the table and offer sugar free syrup. Also they have waffle fries! lol it was a great experience and we will be back, especially with the prices being so reasonable. We spent almost $50 for breakfast at this other place and we got out the door for $26 bucks here. So worth the visit, you won't be disappointed. Unless you're one of those people who can't help but complain about everything and play victim like some of the bad reviews we read. Thumbs up from us Michiganders in town for work!

I don't want to tell you about this place because I don't want to wait for you to finish eating to be seated. This is a hidden gem in Hopkins with the nicest wait staff around.

I am giving Hoagie's five stars for what it is. A good breakfast and lunch restaurant that delivers good food at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy but a good value with good service.

Staff is wonderful. Food is old-fashioned diner authentic. So are the prices. The "Build-your-own Omelet" is HUGE. Order it with everything. I dare ya to eat it in one go! Love the little red stools at the counter.

Small town feel in the best way. The food is always amazing. I recommend the French toast or the breakfast sandwich, also check out the American fries with cheese. Everyone is always nice, the prices are great. This place is always busy but there hardly any wait time. 10/10
